got a call from water company, the guys were outside and wanted to make sure i was ready for water to be turned on, and they offered to come inside and unfreeze any frozen pipes (cant get into basement because too much stuff in the way). was a nice gesture.

Me too Karen! It was such a huge stress and tension in my house. He finally gave in when my son kinda snapped on his dad and they had it out and then worked things out. The week after that I got all the paperwork in the mail. My little Brennen is so much like me sometimes, he holds stuff in so he doesn't have to deal with it and then all of a sudden it all comes out like a volcano erupting, haha. How are you feeling Karen?

I'm doing ok, I have a regular headache today, not the kind you feel when you stroke, my blood pressure is high but not that high. I have a monitor I am using it every few hours. still feel a bit weak. Other than that I am ok.

we do.. but the quality has gone downhill for the last 6 years or so. breakfast is still good and lots of older people who like to chat are there in the mornings.

id rather head to the newly built culvers for dinner. kids meals have a coupon on the bag for free desert. small scoop or milkshake if you ask nicely. child likes sharing milkshakes... he is still learning of root beer floats

I'm so happy to hear this, and so excited for your son! And good for him for speaking his mind! It can be so hard for a kid to stand up for themselves, especially against a parent or elder. But right is right. You've obviously taught him well.

I decided to get inventive tonight ... I made a crab-cake loaf and a pasta salad with crab. The crab-cake loaf was so-so. I think I'm carb'd out for the next month or so.

I see corn, tomato, mustard seed (hey, it makes a plant!), relish has pickles...that's what happens to cucumbers when they're soaked in stuff! Onions and potatoes too.

I count 6 vegetables. Gets my vote!
