Today did not go as anticipated. I am very, very angry and have successfully given myself a major migraine and will be going to bed to cover my anger and despair in darkness and ultimate quiet.
I went to dentist to pick up beautiful new toothies. Top denture does not fit, not even close. So bad that dentist said he is sending it back to lab for a hard reline and took another! mold of top of mouth. Left dentist in shock after saying the f word. Should be back in a week. Bottom one not right either, but he thinks will be ok with tweeks.
Go to Walgreens to pick up a shopping cart full of RXs new doctor called in yesterday. He only gave 30 days with refill. Costs twice as much as a 90 day. Would not take them. Drove to doctor and very calmly through gritted teeth explained to girl at desk that doctor needs to call in 90 day RXs for my heart, diabetes, and blood pressure meds. Left with a blossoming migraine.
Got home and took migraine meds (which I now realize new doctor did not give rx for). Went to bed. Hour later realized that getting relined denture is not acceptable. This is supposed to be a perfect NEW denture that will last me for years that we paid multiple thousands of dollars for. Called dentist. He left office and is out of town for weekend. Told lady that he needs to be paged and I expect a phone call today, if my weekend is ruined, his is going to be interrupted too.
Very angry. Still have migraine. Need to eat, but have no teeth.
