Hello folks,
Wow...I started a bit of a squabble over in the "other forums"...started a thread there. It started to get a little nasty, then came back to friendly. If anyone wants to comment either there or here, feel free.

I'm scared to venture out to the other forums without my protective gear and my skin as thick as I can get it! There are people on this board who range from clueless to unfriendly to downright hateful and nasty. I'd rather pour out my soul here among friends and take the advice given by true friends.
To get to your point, I totally respect your decision to keep your financial life separate, and to not buy his cigarettes for him, whether or not you have enough money to do it. And it was awfully nice of you to share your WTA with him! Regular Joe's don't get it, that's like buying someone diamonds!
Good luck to both of you.

Our Great-Grandmothers would probably all be rolling in their graves to hear us women voice this sentiment ...
I'm not so sure about that. Our great-grandmothers, after all, fought for us women to have the right to vote. Our grandmothers and mothers taught us women to be strong and independent. And we are hopefully teaching our daughters and granddaughters those same values.
I come from a family of strong women. My grandmother was raised by a single mother (which is an incredible feat considering that this was done in the early 1900's). She in turn pretty well single-handedly raised my uncle, aunt and mother (my grandfather was a drunk). My mother worked full-time while she was raising me and my younger sibs, and taught us the value of hard work and being self-sufficient. I only hoped I successfully passed on those lessons to my son, who will pass it on to his children.
Quick post as I run out the door to work. Jason is still in the hospital and they still aren't sure whats wrong with him. They are going to do another biopsy to see if they can figure it out. It's been a week since he first went to the ER. Today was the first day I didn't go visit him. So glad his parents are local now and can be there for him.

Hi guys
All tied up today with Lyriq & my mom ... 8 month's old's require much more attention than 3 month olds![]()
and he said that if I need my 'scrips renewed, I can go online and request them. Almost afraid that'll take a week for it to be done. Plus side, I won't have to deal with him unless something changes for the worse or have to do my well-exam.well im off for the nightgot a warning in my inbox

What???? I hope it wasn't my thread that did that....
Well they say you aren't "legit" until you get some warnings under your belt. Just something that might make you feel better.
