I swear us vapers have an addiction to vape supplies. We troll around looking for the newest or best things that are available.Hundreds of dollars on mods.More juice than you can vape,in every flavor people talk about.OOOOOh I saw a review and I neeeed to get this!!LOOOK!!A new carto tank!!I neeeeeeed that!!OMG!Fat pretty drip tips! How can I live without it???Im as guilty as anyone.I used to buy stuff all the time. The fact is we dont really neeeeeed as much as we purchase.

My Hubs and I have had a rough year.We both had major surgery and with thousands in medical bills and 3 kids that still want to participate in soccer and band and everything else it leaves little for vape supplies. Its okay!I drool over Pink Silver Bullets and New Pink Splash mods.I swear I will die if I dont get them.Realize Im not 5,and get over it.I have a new rule.Wait 2 weeks and see if you die without it.If you still feel you cant survive maybe save up and get one.Usually at the end of 2 weeks Im drooling over something else like the new Buzz VVPV and we start the 2 week wait all over again.

You dont neeeeeed everything.Dont go into CC debt over vaping.Slow down and put alot of thought into your purchases.Give it time.:blush:Then only purchase what you do really NEEEEEED!!

Ok.. I haven't ruined my credit over that. But...

Cmon... it's one of the only joys I have left. My girlfriend is 230 miles away. I care for my mother 24/7. I never see my friends.

I'm trolling for everything I can get my hands on!!!!!!!

I think the moral of the story is, don't ruin yourself over it if you can't afford it. If you can afford it, buy all you can :)

Funny you posted this keyzeygirl. My wife and I just had this exact same argument! LOL

Almost "to the T". I have a perfectly fine eGo, but want to get into the VV world. She wants me to wait till Xmas or something to buy a mod. She even reminded me how I always tell our 6yr old to be happy with what she's got, and quit asking for new toys when we just bought her one. I had absolutely no comeback. :(

Also, iffy, I LOL' d at your post too!

If you have a genuine ego with the silver bands with black see-through button, you might consider the ego booster. You can see it in the 2 right side pics of my avatar. Not really cheap, but cheaper than most VV mods. Allows you to try VV without having to get all new parts (charger, batts, etc). I haven't vaped without it since I bought it what, 2 or 3 months ago, and I absolutely love it. Great way to try out the world of VV and you get to use any of your (genuine only, rivas and others don't work) ego batts and other parts :) I like it cause you can get VV ego batts, that are only 650 mah :p and the ego VV pt, but you can use your other batts with it. This is just an add on to what you have now :D Ok, I'll stop while I'm ahead.

I'm bad about buying flavors for DIY and stocking up on something right when I decide to move on to something else. I have a bunch of 510 attys but, I only use 901s now. I'm also bad about getting mod parts. In fact I'm better at getting the parts than I am at getting around to putting them together. :) I don't buy that many mods though.

I just got back from vacation, and found 2 bottles of flavors, 1/2 doz cartos and a few batteries and a charger was all I NEEDED!!
My rule of thumb is don't spend over 1/2 of what you used to spend on smokes, and you can "save up" for a big purchase if you can't resist "ohhhhh shiny" :)

But Stosh we live in NJ, we have huge "spend on smokes" budget, rivaled only by our NYC neighbors.

The other morning I was gathering my stuff for work and started to clean out and striating up my back pack. Pulled my work laptop out, next pocket pulled volt meter, 4 x 18650's, 6 x aw123, 3 old ball bats I had for the Phidias. Next pocket, out come the Provari, The chuck, GLV, 2 EGO-T XL's, 3 Riva's, Ego 510 bat I never used, Chrome omega in the mail on its way. In the next pocket, 2 packs of CE2's unused, pack dual coil cartos unused, 8 510 atty's, 2 IKV 2.5 Cannon Atty's. Last a big zip lock full of different ML's juices. I sat back totally ashamed of myself. So keyz you are correct, I don't need it all. Will I visit the classy again?................YES TO SELL and that's it!!!!!!!! lol

Keeping the Omega and the GLV, that should do just fine.

I agree 100% with this one. At the risk of being roasted alive here I will add don't be a sucker for latest and greatest. I learned a long time ago NEVER be the one to try out new technology. If it is that popular the sucker who bought it when if first came out will be selling it soon enough to get the next got to have rage or it will drop drastically in price when the next latest and greatest comes out. If you just have to be the first on your block (or forum) to have it then more power to you, I will buy it for half the price in a few months if I want it.

You are sooo right Keyzgirl !!! (((hug))) Its amazing how those wants can change while you are waiting for those two weeks to pass. Now that I'm in my second year of vaping I've given myself a budget for the year. Its broken down into Mods, vendor Juice, DIY, and Other which of coarse includes everything not in the first three categories. I'm determined to stay within my budget for the year. Knowing that if I spend it all now I won't have anything to spend later in the year is a good way to stop me from jumping on buying something I just have to have today because I just know I'm going to want something even more later in the year.
