I swear us vapers have an addiction to vape supplies. We troll around looking for the newest or best things that are available.Hundreds of dollars on mods.More juice than you can vape,in every flavor people talk about.OOOOOh I saw a review and I neeeed to get this!!LOOOK!!A new carto tank!!I neeeeeeed that!!OMG!Fat pretty drip tips! How can I live without it???Im as guilty as anyone.I used to buy stuff all the time. The fact is we dont really neeeeeed as much as we purchase.

My Hubs and I have had a rough year.We both had major surgery and with thousands in medical bills and 3 kids that still want to participate in soccer and band and everything else it leaves little for vape supplies. Its okay!I drool over Pink Silver Bullets and New Pink Splash mods.I swear I will die if I dont get them.Realize Im not 5,and get over it.I have a new rule.Wait 2 weeks and see if you die without it.If you still feel you cant survive maybe save up and get one.Usually at the end of 2 weeks Im drooling over something else like the new Buzz VVPV and we start the 2 week wait all over again.

You dont neeeeeed everything.Dont go into CC debt over vaping.Slow down and put alot of thought into your purchases.Give it time.:blush:Then only purchase what you do really NEEEEEED!!

Good advice Keyz!!!
Good luck on follow it.

I find it very easy, went from making a fair amount of money, to laid off(which was my reason to turn to vaping), to a minimum wage job currently....(hate the economy). Gee, car payment or more e-cig equipment? I love my Hemi Magnum and NO VV or Mod will change my mind, period. Unless "hello kitty" comes up for sale!:drool:

I am still newer to vaping, but I still have spent less on vaping then I would of have with smoking 2 PAD everyday. As long as I dont cross that thresh hold I think I am good. I think as long as my bats hold up for a while, the only thing I am gona need within a month is new cartos...as soon as CCV gets them back in stock :(

I would have placed an order today if not for this thread. RTSVapes is having a sale on unflavored nix juice. I have plenty and do not need it. However my downfall has been sales. So thanks again keyseygirl.

I know what you mean about sales. I check the deals/steal thread about 20 times a day plus all the emails I get. I usually have to walk away from the computer..but then I catch myself sneaking back to see if the sale is still on.

but.....I waaaaannnntt it~!!!

Don't we all....LOL. Like tomorrow starts primevaping's sale. Do I need it? No. Do I want it? Yes. Will I buy it? You can bet on it...I "want" to try some new flavors but I don't "need" it. About the only thing that will stop me is a power outage and I can't get online.

I've done well...so far. I've spent about $175 in the month I've been vaping (One month without Cigs as of right about now!!!) and I have enough stuff to last me a good long while. I've spent most of that on finding a juice that I really dig. I'm still searching, but I hope the vaporbomb order I have in the mail will have the "one" somewhere in it. I am going to buy a Silver Bullet soon, only because I've already had a ego crap out on me and I want to be able to replace the Batteries cheaper.

I'm more so addicted to looking at vaping stuff online than actually buying it!

I'm 55, been semiretired since I was 50. If I knew what I know today back when I was 20 I could have been semiretired by 40. I buy what I need - not what I want. I do have a few toys and a few hobbies, but before I buy I make sure number 1 - I am not the first on the block; 2 - that I will use it regularly (I really need it and I do not currently have something that is working fine)... I am not rich and I do have to work some to get by, but I get by and I do not miss the 60+ hour weeks that I used to live by...

Kind of funny, I've been on a box mod kick lately. Got the little 2xAA box mod down to less than $5.00 to build, and it vapes every bit as good as my $85.00 Silver Bullet. (just need to remember to pack a couple of extra 14500's along with the extra cartos). Sorry Keyzy, it's a black SB.
Building a little VV box mod right now. Looks like I will be into it about $12.00.
Enjoying your vaping is mandatory, spending a fortune is optional.

I want to learn more about this as a possibility - a $5 - $12 box mod would be fine by me... I have read some in the mod forum, but not enough yet. Is this where I can pick up this knowledge...

A very easy starter box mod has complete instructions here:
http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/battery-mods/105465-now-puck-cheap-parts-easy.html#post1587798

And the modding forum will help you through if necessary, lots of good modders with an amazing knowledge base, willing to share their smarts. :)

Black 2xAA Battery Box with On/Off Switch
    Silver 510 Battery Connector, Sealed
    Mini SPST 0.5-Amp Momentary Switch (4-Pack) - RadioShack.com

Couldn't find the 3amp switch in a quick search, but they are the same price (4 pack)
Cost of mod parts is $4.40

OH, and here is what a $22 atty with a $10 drip shield on a $5 mod looks like :blink:

Well I have went a little further than most on my first year in vaping, I tried all these mods. Provari, Darwin, Monkeyboxx, Silverbullet, Icon, Reo Mini, VV Splash, GLV Super Mini, Scubagen V3, Map Tanks and I am on the pre-order for the new Infinity Pro. I added it all up the other day and between my wife and I had still saved 1,000 dollars. I bought most of my mods pre-owned from the forums here. So unless the Eclipse shrinks down to the size of of a pen I think I am good on mods. I sold/traded a few of those mods. I have found that VV is the only way to go for me, keeps me from constantly charging batteries. And if you really want to save money the Darwin is it. One Year Battery Warranty, 2 Year devise warranty. No Charger to buy, If the batteries are out of warranty, it's 25 bucks to replace. I know it's an advanced user devise but it seems a natural progression from the Ego - Ego VV - Darwin. I would have saved a bunch of money if I had just kept to that formula. I not only transferred money from my smoking, I gave up all my vices. I even like vaping more than drinking, so I have freed up that budget as well.
