Oh, I totally feel you. I'm nineteen and when I first started out(I was seventeen/eighteen), I had a super small budget.
Now, me and my boyfriend both work and go to school full time. Together we make about 34k, after taxes, in a year(living together for two/three)
With bills, tuition every month, netflix, gas. I could buy a lot of juice, I mean a lot of juice..but that would cut into my tuition savings, so I don't.

I'm looking to move out but I live in maryland, cheapest apartment you can find is maybe 800 a month if you're lucky. That's like a studio apartment. So I'm looking at northern virginia and a new job. Maybe then I can just buy every hybrid i can grab lol. Idk what it is with women and saving, my girl friend works minimum wage and has saved so much money it's rediculous

So ugh, I got away from the cobalt. I do want a gensis setup but, the cobalt is aluminum and anodized so scratches are never coming out of it so I figured get something that's more practical. 3 setups that I want before I stop buying ecigs... lol... are a gensis/hybrid, an epipe from epipemods.com, and a bottom feeder. Well I went with a bottom feeder. I got a reo mini 2.1, black wrinkle copper vein.

Here's the picture off their site,

Edit: Actually for the epipe, I was thinking maybe an epipemods, with a mini did, ego skirt from mmvapors, 8 inch stem? sounds awesome

Derp I think OP has it wrong.. a lot of these self-described "old folks" are on a fixed budget. Social security and disability don't pay as much as you might think.

But anyways yeah. I'm 28 and just went back to college. Trying to get done with it as soon as humanly possible but it looks like i'll have to shell out about $700 if i want to go this summer. Fortunately though I just payed for a second mechanical mod. I have 6 years's worth of nicotine base to DIY, two spools of kanthal, about 100 feet of silica wick, and about 8 wicks worth of SS mesh.

I GOT 99 PROBLEMS BUT VAPING AIN'T ONE.

Move west, my friend. Things are a lot easier out here by far. Besides work, the work is hard but the rewards come sooner.
We just know how to handle money. Me and my boyfriend have always saved money no matter what though. A great habit to get into for sure!

Best of luck to you:)

22 here, just graduated from university and thought it would be a GREAT idea to try and get a job in the US...heh...now I make minimum wage and between all my bills, food, and a pathetic attempt at having a social life, I usually can spend about 20 a month on vaping goodies. That's ~30mls of juice depending on where ya get it, and unfortunately I've developed a taste for some of the finer juices (HHV & Bobas pretty much, which isn't exactly gourmet or expensive).

Spent most of the money I received from Christmas on an MVP, a phoenix RBA + wire, and a vivi nova, and I've been pretty happy so far. I rebuild everything myself so I never have to buy new gear. Hoping to have enough saved soon for an additional vivi nova. Can't really complain though, I'm spending much less than if I was still smoking (break even date was like early february), and my PV is a pretty good convo starter on the rare occasions I stumble into a bar.

Great point! Plus, I have the time to do some serious research for the killa $ales. My v-verts can't believe da price I ask for my n00bie kits.

I was soooo excited to get my reo today, the most expensive mod that I've bought yet. I had the butterflies going when coming home I was so excited. Got home ran to the mail box and there was a box and a slip. I looked at the slip, and looked at the box, the box was the juice lot I bought off someone...... The slip was a "Sorry we missed you" GUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

I wonder if old people suffer from package anxiety

I'm over 40, but I get excited too. It makes me cringe when I get one of those messages from the PO. The next day, I'm calling them and making arrangements to get my mail!
