That's true. I like it but like seeing the juice better. Maybe I'll try it after I get use to how long it takes to drain. I had a solid SS Tatro tank back in the day, so to speak, and I just topped it off all the time!

Oh, when the wick is right, you can fill the tank to the top. I just did that this morning and not a dry hit at all. No more having to leave 1/4 of the tank empty like the KFLs.

Just reading this makes me wistful ... My KFL+ has shipped! I've built coils, before, but only for a mech. The YouTube videos look pretty straight forward ... But I'm hopin' y'all will put up with a round of "20 Questions" when it arrives :hubba:

What, only 20??

Sice you've built coils for mechs, you should be fine with the KFs. Depending on what you're putting it on, I'd shoot for 1.5 - 2 Ω. I like a 2 mm ID for mine, and prefer the heating / cooling response of 30 more than 28.

DO take it all apart and wash in hot soapy water before first use. Even taking out the air flow adjust screw(s). Machine oil from manufacturing can hide in some pretty small places, and doesn't taste at all good

Putting it on a P3, so I'm thinking your suggestion is spot on. I'm in the gifted and talented program when it comes to losing things (as in, dropping itty screws down the disposal). I suppose there are lots of itty screws?

There's plenty of help to go around on here! And plenty of people willing to do so with only good intentions!:):vapor::toast:

I took mine apart over a short water glass full of warm soapy water so it wasn't over the sink. Let it sit a while then swished it around. You can use a screen strainer in the sink too?

Yup, lots of those tiny screws. Down the drain

Into a glass of soapy water, as mekc suggests, is a good idea. I usually just make sure the drain screen is in, since we use them instead of the large perforated stoppers on the "rinse" side.

Check your manual for the low Ω cut-off on the P3, and make your coil a bit higher than that. Don't have one, so can't say. I use several other regulated tubes, and one will cut out at 1.2 Ω, so I just wind all mine to be above that.

Is this like the study that found all sorts of poisonous stuff in dog food and dog treats? You remember: the food manufactured in China that was subject to quality control measures. Funny. I'm not recalling that the NYT advocated banning dogs

Probably not a good idea to get me started on animal abuse in any form. Ask anybody here.

Bells, not a lot to quibble about in the rest of the article. Some, but not much. It would be nice if there was self-regulation within the industry and I know they are trying to, but that probably won't happen. I don't believe that the folks that bring us Chantix are to be trusted to regulate the industry.

Counterfeit is just that, counterfeit, and it's illegal. Clones don't bother me nor do they seem to bother the original makers. I make my own juice and get most of my stuff from Wizard Labs for a reason; I trust them. It's disingenuous, in my opinion, to say your juice is 100% USA, when at the least, the nic came from China or one of the other countries that extract. Commercial US nicotine extraction only began here this year. Chinese manufacturing by Joe Blows does not have a track record I want to stake my health on. On the other hand, some of it is excellent. Everybody needs to make an informed choice. Most don't, nor even know they should.

Something like 80% of our over the counter medications come from China. That doesn't seem to make as big a blip on the radar as ejuice does. Ran across that stat a couple of months ago and can't find it again. What I did find was this. Opinion: How safe are your prescription drugs? - CNN.com

If pharmaceutical companies move out of India, they will likely decide to go to other countries that can also offer cheap services. One of those is likely China. But China, unlike India, has blocked U.S. efforts to send FDA inspectors. We're in a similar situation to what we had in India before the increased oversight.

The US cares more about what someone trying to quit smoking inhales than what people are medicating with? Why aren't there tons of articles about this? People are out there campaigning against vaping yet don't give a damn about what they swallow. Makes no sense at all to me.

Sorry, went off again. Shutting up and going off to sit on my lobster pot in the corner for old times sake before Iffy packs it up.

The P3 ohm cut off is .7 I beleive.

Wow this has a lot more open draw. and puts out lots of vapor. No problems so far will turn it up soon. I like vaping around 8.2-8.4 Not a high power vapor. Have to go to town for a few will give you a report later. I take it these don't work on vacuum where you close the air slightly to get more juice right the juice is gravity fed. Right?

Hey I never checked can you reach the air screw with a mini screwdrive like the ones on a keychain
Probably, I used a micro screwdriver out of my build set???
There still vacuum fed I think! And yes, they have a lot more air. That's why I said I'll never need the open air kit. I had to turn mine down quite a bit!
