I got sick and couldn't smoke for a week so I decided I would try to quit cold turkey. I wanted a smoke so bad after a few days but I was determined to stay away from analogs and bought a disposable 21st Century. Lol. It was better than nothing. My friends laughed at first but saw it was actually working. Now they all vape and it's awesome. Went from a cigalike to an ego passthrough to an ego twist now have a vamo and working on getting some mechs!
My first try to drop the analog was a Bul kit i picked up at walgreens didn't care for it, almost a year later got a ego starter kit now looking at a MVP2 and a I taste 134 next payday
The one I am still using, and plan to continue to use (with the addition of some others); ego-c with an EVOD tank.
It got me off smoking, and I might as well get my utility out of it until it stops working. Great light weight vape. Will be my go-to when I don't want to mess with a mech.

It was a cig-a-like from a mall kiosk called Nuvo. It wasn't bad flavor-wise and had decent throat hit but the atomizers died very quickly.
My first was a Joyetech EGO-C. What a long way I have come since then!!! 2 VV mods, 6 mech mods, 4 attys later!!!! At 6-8ml of juice a day, I think I'm offically an vape addict!!! 
I started with the eSmoke website and used those for 2 and a half years before doing the 510 style
I got hustled at my nearest smoke shop. They sold me two 450mah ego style batteries and two ce4 clearomizers in a case for $70. I feel so stupid. I now have a k100 with a nimbus and an Ego C twist with multiple pro tanks and vivi novas.
Ego c here too (spent way too much on it though) then moved on to a spinner for a little more punch. Hoping this will work for my father when his set arrives next week.
Started with a Blu starter kit (for which I found the box and everything just the other day). After researching how to refill and change the flavors for Blu, I found Johnson Creek. I then started using the Vea (Johnson Creek). While the Vea was a huge step up from Blu (and I think is a very sufficient device for those just trying to quit tobacco/nicotine for good), it just hasn't given me the vaping experience I desire.

Started with a Volcano Magma back in 2010. Moved to the Inferno 2011. Hadn't touched an ecig in over a year, got some free disposables at a trade show and my interest was reignited. Found my old Inferno batteries, and been using a Smok tank setup now. I'll be buying something a little more satisfying soon though. Pride of ownership is important to me.

My daughters boyfriend asked me to take him to a local "vape shop" (Madd Catt Vapors). Never heard of such a place. Come to find out I've been passing by the place at least 4 times a day and never really knew what it was. I thought it was just another head shop that sold .... well, you know.
So after finding this place I was intrigued. We went back a couple of days later and I picked my first set up. An Evod with an eGo 950 mah chrome engraved battery.

first was an ecig from aquavapor about 5 years ago didnt got to well and went back to analogs. then when blu came out i tried them for a bit then went back to analogs. my friend introduced me to an ego with a T2. now i got an itaste MVP with kanger protanks, protank II on the way and an iclear 30. lovin it
I bought my first gear online, but had been driving past one of my local vape shops nearly every day for months, before I decided to check ECF and see if there were any shops near me. If I had found them first I would have skipped cigalikes and started with an Evod like you. Live and learn.
Aphex9, out vaping sure has elevated quickly lol I started using your stuff, and now I have a Silver DOg V2 and a King mod with kayfun lite and more juice than I know what to do with
