Hello again and welcome back for today's review of the Suorin Air Pro that was sent to me from Suorin for the purpose of this review. The Air Pro is a fixed wattage pod with a output of 18 watts and has a juice capacity of a large 4.9mls of liquid. You also get the option of 2 types of firing the device ( AUTO DRAW OR BUTTON FIRE ) and there's a optional charging dock that will be available soon. The Air Pro has a very different look being very thin while still having a 930 mAh internal battery to power the device and a unique mouthpiece. Lets get to know the Suorin Pro Pod Kit a little bit prior to my review of it.

INITIAL IMPRESSIONS


I just reviewed the Suorin Ace a couple of days ago and the packaging of both devices are the same with a plastic form fitted insert for the device inside a box with another small box containing the charge cable and the pod underneath the device. With this kit you receive a device, pod, micro USB charge cable and user manual. The color that I received for this review is called faded skeleton and is a metallic two-toned color.





I wanted to start out the review with a fully charge device so I began charging the Air Pro and noticed just like the Ace Pod Device this one also has a very tiny bright led light in the fire switch that illuminates when charging with 3 different colors that define the strength of the battery, when vaping the tiny led light also illuminates letting you know how strong the battery is.

This led light is very bright but also very tiny that I really had to look hard to find out where the light source was coming from. When charging the led light will blink very slowly then when the device is fully charged the led light will stay lit with the color green.

The colors represent the battery's strength and are as follows.

* Steady Green - Fully Charged

* Blinking Green - 41-95%

* Blinking Blue - 10-40%

* Blinking Red - Less Than 10%






Unlike the Ace that uses a type-c charge connection the Air Pro uses a micro USB connection that is located on the opposite side of the fire button below 1 of the airflow holes, the Air Pro has 2 airflow holes, 1 on each side of the device.





Suorin gives the user of the Air Pro 2 options for inhale, #1 is auto draw and the other is the traditional button fire type to ignite the coil in the pod. Both methods work well and are quick to fire. In this photo you can see just how thin the Air Pro really is, it's thickest point is just above the fire button.




The connection of the pod is done as most pods do by using magnets, inside the device are 2 magnets located at each end of the device, the 2 gold colored spring mounted contact pins in the center are the connection points for the coil inside the pod itself. The center silver pin keeps the pod up far enough for the air intake holes to travel to the center of the coil imbedded in the pod, the pod can only be connected one way and once connected a haptic feedback will sound when the devices pod is connected correctly.





On the right of this photo are the 2 metal contact points of the pod with the coil's air intake between them in the center, the left side of the photo shows the large fill port with the plug unplugged and held up using a toothpick. Suorin even went the extra mile to ensure the pod stayed scratch free in transport by wrapping the pod in plastic that I kept on for this photo.





The Air Pro must be laid down flat when not in use, because it's so thin no other way is possible which concerned me regarding the coil staying saturated with juice but that quickly gave way when I noticed how low the cotton intake holes were on the coil. The laval nozzle airway design is supposed to disperse heat while traveling up and it does a good job of it.

This is a very large thin pod that has 3 dividers that are hollowed out at the bottom for juice to pass through from one section to another, I don't know what these dividers are used for other than maybe pod strength stability. Suorin lightly tinted the pods just enough with a very light tint so there is no problem viewing juice levels. This is a very odd pod with the coil and mouthpiece airhole being on 1 side of the device. Just remember to inhale on the side of the laval nozzle airway, it takes some getting used to but you get the hang of it quickly.







The base of the Air Pro has contact points for a soon to be released optional docking base for charging the device without the need for plugging in a charge cord.





In the time I've used the Air Pro I have 0 miss fires using the auto draw, I am a button guy but like it's little brother the Suoren Ace the auto draw works great and I rarely used the fire button in testing the device.

The flavor is very good and after about 4 or 5 refills it's still popping with good flavor. I wish that this had a adjustment for airflow because I prefer my MTL vape to be just a hair tighter so I have used the old trick of placing a piece of clear scotch tape across 1 of the side airflow intake holes and now I get the MTL vape that I prefer.

Battery life has been very good, I have not been able to get a full day from 1 charge but I tend to chain vape when busy at work and I've been super busy as of late so keep that in mind your vaping millage will vary because we all vape differently.

The color that was sent to me is a fingerprint magnet but I can't speak for the other colors. In my opinion this is a jeans pocket device being just a bit to heavy for a shirt pocket carry. The thinnest reference I could find and give the Air Pro some scale.

What does everyone use as far as vg/pg ratio for tanks? Mixed up a 70/30 and still seems a little thick.

Introduction

When it comes to mods they have a reputation for concentration on simple power only devices that just perform very well and are stylish or offer something different in design.

The Foxy One is a power only single 21700 device which offers a max wattage of 120w or reduced to 80w when an 18650 instead is installed. The Foxy One is a very simple device with no bells and whistles features or extra settings offering just wattage, voltage and bypass modes. The device is one of the smallest single 21700 mods available which despite being reassuringly weighty due to it's solid build quality is still a device convenient for out and about use!

Aesthetics and Ergonomics

The Foxy one comes in simple cardboard box packaging with outer cardboard sleeve and on opening my eyes met a very Foxy looking tiny 21700 device lying in it's central compartment. The device is offered in various frame colours and textured spines, I received the Copper Wood Pattern Leather version which has a brushed Aged Copper C-frame with matching buttons and Wood Pattern Leather (effect i believe) spine which has just a slight springiness when pressed rather than being heavily cushioned, overall it's a looker and feels absolutely great in the hand! The options are Black Green Leather, Gunmetal Brown Leather, Gunmetal Alcantara, Copper Wood Pattern Leather or Silver Black Leather.

The plain face of the device has a large square protruding fire button towards the top which curves to the contour of the device, Both sides to the rear has the continuation of the spine section and towards the front on the frame one side see's towards the bottom a vertically positioned Type C USB port! The opposite side again on the front frame we have a small OLED Screen top and lined up vertically your 2 small round navigational buttons.

The spine of the device has the textured patterned spine of choice and moving up top set towards the rear we have a small 510 plate and Gold plated, spring loaded 510, the base of the device reveals safety marks and understated branding!

The whole Zinc Alloy device (including main material of spine) has a bit of weight to it but is small and very ergonomic both to just hold and fire! When it comes to build quality despite it's lower end price point it gets full marks!

Fitting The Battery

The device will accommodate either a 21700, 20700 or 18650 with the included adaptor although why anyone would use a 20700 is beyond me. The Foxy One has a classic C-frame with pull off spine for battery instalment and the first thing I like is beneath the covering the main material of the spine is the same Zinc Alloy used for the main chassis!

I also like that the battery door has protruding curved sections to the inner to form an incomplete tube which either your 21700 or 18650 (inside the adaptor) can slide into from above and then the whole spine with installed battery assembly just gets pushed onto the mod. The contacts have bevelled edging to prevent damaging your wraps and when it comes to removing your battery all you need to do is pull off the spine and there is your battery ready to slide out!



The edging of the spine has 3 large, very strong magnets and it precision fits with absolutely no movement whatsoever, likewise i have tried both 21700 and 18650 batteries and we get absolutely no battery rattle. Very impressive with the only slight con being that bug bare of battery orientation being Black on Black and needs to be more visible!

The Display

The Foxy One has an old school small (can you believe they actually call it large on their website!) screen with limited information but that's the point of most Augvape's devices they are kept simple and minimalistic when it comes to the display, even so the display is bright and despite the small font i had no issues reading the information and that's from someone who's wife keeps telling me I need to get to Specsavers to get my eyes tested!

On the left we have an horizontally positioned battery status bar and to the right of that at the top the resistance, below is the voltage which will display wattage when in either Voltage or Bypass Modes!

The right section of the screen is your selected wattage, voltage (when in voltage mode) or BP when in Bypass!

Operating The Foxy One

The Foxy One is the usual 5 clicks of the fire button to turn on and 5 clicks to turn off, once on pressing both navigational buttons together locks those buttons but the device will still fire.

The device has just 3 power modes but no advanced settings or TC functions and to change between modes is 3 quick presses of the fire button. So from wattage mode 3 quick presses takes you to voltage mode which can be adjusted between 0.5V up to 6.2V in 0.1V increments and it also round robins. A further 3 presses of the fire button takes you to Bypass mode where you get BP displayed where your set wattage or voltage normally would be and then below the resistance to the bottom right of the status bar it displays wattage output in real time which will all depend on your resistance and voltage left on your battery.



A further 3 presses of the fire button takes you back to wattage mode which adjusts from 5W to 120W in 1W increments at a rate of knots when the button is held down and round robins, however the device detects when the battery installed is an 18650 and only adjusts to 80W before going back to 5W, i do like this as there is no point setting wattage above 80w with an 18650 battery because it just isn't going to materialise! Any cons i have for this device are quite petty one being i wished at least for lower wattage the increments were 0.5w but not a deal breaker despite being a low wattage vaper!

That's it! as simple as it gets with the only other thing to mention is after switching the device off or changing battery the device remembers your previous setting which for me is a pro!

Charging

Of course the recommendation would be to charge your battery externally but if you need to charge in the device the Foxy One has a Type C USB connection and 1.2A charge rate which could be a little quicker but we have passthrough supported if you need a puff while you wait!

My Thoughts!

To start off i have to confess i actually chose both the device and colour to review based on liking the looks and also hearing on forums plenty of good things and absolutely nothing bad so unless something reared it's ugly head this was always going to be a positive review!

After saying that i was even more impressed than i expected especially around the build quality and just how small and ergonomically friendly the Foxy One actually is and when it came to choosing the colour it wasn't an easy choice as this comes in some very aesthetically pleasing options, Foxy by name, Foxy by nature!

I have been using this over the last few days both at home but it also made for a great out and about companion, comfortable to hold and fire and it just slips into the pocket when not in use. It fires with zero issues hitting set wattage instantly and performed like a trooper! The protruding large fire button is a joy and i can only describe it as having a luxurious stiff cushioned click, owners of the Foxy One will understand the description i'm sure!

The only petty cons i have is poorly marked battery orientation and i wish it adjusted in 0.5w increments especially up to 20w but anything else would defeat the whole object of what this device is meant for which is being a simple, user friendly, high performing power only single 21700 device so no TC or bells and whistles features but those that require them simply wouldn't buy this device so not an issue or should that be a non issue!

I have used both 22mm and 24mm up top and even with 24mm we have some spare real estate so 25mm and even 26mm would only go over the bevelled edging but not overhang the device itself so would anyone be wanting to fit over a 26mm tank on a single battery device, a rarity i would think!

I normally just write the review and put my likes and cons but don't go as far as recommending products but for those after a tiny single 21700 device for power only modes then you can't go wrong and you get the added bonus of excellent build quality and a really Foxy looking device!

FIRST IMPRESSIONS


What I received is a reviewers sample and these photos of the kit are not the retail version. The Nano kit has 2 pods included, 0.6Ω mesh rated at 20-25w that is pre-installed and the 1.2Ω mesh rated at 11-14w. The pods don't look like it but they are indeed 2ml in capacity and are also clear. Geek Vape also supplies a lanyard and neck chain to attach it along with the user manual.







I received the green camo color version and really like the styling of it, the spine of the Nano has a camo pattern that looks great and has some spongy feel to it , surrounding the camo pattern is a color coded skeleton. The Nano has a lanyard attachment that I decided to try only because of the size of the Nano and it is a convenience to use because it frees up a pocket, it's nice that Geek Vape included both the lanyard and neck chain in the kit.





To pods are marked on the bottom as to it's ohm and rating for it. The pre-installed pod has a protective sticker on the bottom that must be removed before vaping. To access it tilt up on the pod that has a little arrow and it will release from the magnets that hold it in place. The easiest way to remove the mouthpiece for filling is to tilt it up on the side that doesn't have the arrow.





Once the mouthpiece is off simply lift the black cover up by running your finger up at the end and pull up, once the fill port cover is up it can be rotated to the side for easy filling of the large juice port hole on the end of the pod. When the cover is up you can also view the coil in the center of the pod.





The pod is held in with 2 strong magnets that keep the pod in place but are not to strong that removal of the pod is difficult.





The Nano uses a type-c USB and it's charge port is located on the bottom of the device, to access it insert your fingernail into the small grove and lift up, it will remain attached to the device. The charge port plug is made of the same silicone rubber that surrounds the Nano.





I was very happy to see that the Nano use a fully adjustable airflow and can be dialed down for a very tight MTL vape or opened up for a RDL vape. The airflow is controlled with a lever located at the top above the spine of the Nano, it has just the right amount of resistance and will not come off the setting you put it at.





The display is a black and white one with the numbers and symbols being bright with a nice sized font so you can see without needing to squint. Information is laid out well and is as follows from top to bottom.

As you've seen the Nano only has 1 button that controls your wattage adjustment, clears the puff counter and is also the fire button, it is located on one side of the device towards the top and is raised a bit with 3 horizontal lines running across it. I like that it's also color coded to match the Nano.

FINAL IMPRESSIONS


I was very surprised with the mouthpiece because at first glance I thought it was going to be a uncomfortable one to use but I was wrong with that assumption because it works very well and is comfortable to use. The 2nd thing that surprised me was after putting on the lanyard and chain I decided to try it out one day running a bunch of errands and found that I liked it because it frees up a pocket and is very light weight.

The flavor from both of the supplied pods are above average in my opinion and have enough vapor production for my taste. The airflow adjustment lever protrudes just enough to operate without feeling it when vaping. Airflow is smooth with no funny sounds at every setting for both pods, the 1.2Ω is more restricted and I consider it a MTL pod. The 0.6Ω pod gives a very nice RDL vape, no air machine with the Nano.

The appearance is definitely Geek Vape as well as the strong silicone rubber coating that encases the the device.

When I saw the Nanos size I thought the display font would be a very small one but it is not and can be easily seen without having to squint. ( NEVER ASSUME )

The ease of use is a big plus with only one button and no menu it doesn't get any easier or simple to operate. Having a 800 mAH battery is nice especially using the 1.2Ω pod because you can get just about a day depending on your vaping style or amount of use.

All in all I've enjoyed using the Nano and would like to thank Allison and Geek Vape for providing the little Nano kit for the purpose of this review. If anyone reading is looking for a tiny pod based system that has above average flavor with a fully adjustable airflow the little Nano would work out just fine.

These tests below only note my personal ESTIMATED ratings for the batteries I tested at the time I tested them. Any battery that is not a genuine Samsung, Sony, Murata, LG, Panasonic, Molicel, or Sanyo can change at any time! This is one of the hazards of using “rewrapped” or batteries from other manufacturers so carefully research any battery you are considering using before purchasing.

Misusing or mishandling lithium-ion batteries can pose a SERIOUS RISK of property damage, personal injury, or even death. They are not supposed to be used outside of a fully protected battery pack and you use them at your own risk. Never exceed the battery’s true continuous current rating and keep the plastic wrap and top insulating ring in perfect condition.

Testing batteries at their limits is dangerous and should never be attempted by anyone who has not thoroughly studied the dangers involved, understands the risks, has the proper equipment, and takes all appropriate safety precautions.

If the battery has only one current rating number, or if it only says "max", then I have to assume the battery is rated at that current level for any type of discharge, including continuous.




Test Results
This cell is an okay performer and its 15A rating seems reasonable but its cell to cell consistency is terrible. Based on the 30EF’s appearance, model number, and specs it appears that Efest wants to position this cell as an alternative to the Samsung 30Q. The Samsung 30Q is a MUCH more consistent performer though and runs for about 11% to 20% longer at 15A.

This Efest 30EF is essentially identical in appearance to the Imren 30QP. Only by using a 10x loupe could I see a couple of tiny tooling mark differences in the metal cans. In my opinion the Efest 30EF and Imren 30QP could be a mix of all the different grades of the same cell coming off the manufacturing line. This would explain their almost essentially identical appearance and their cell-to-cell performance inconsistencies. I do not know if this is true though.

The four cells I tested delivered 3031mAh to 3069mAh. This is okay consistency and exceeds this cell’s 3000mAh rating.

I’m back today to discuss yet another Geekvape product called the Geekvape Z50 Kit with Z Nano tank. The Z50 kit is said to be inspired by Ancient Greece but honestly I don’t get it. At least not in the sample that I received. Anyway, The Z50 was sent to me by Geekvape for the purpose of providing a fair and honest review. I will also explain the operation of the mod and give my opinions and experience with it. The Z Nano tank that is included in the kit is just a rebranded Zeus Nano tank so I most likely will not go into much detail on it since it has been covered before in at least one other review. I will say that I do like the Nano tank and besides the one I received in this kit I own three more of the originals. In my opinion they are a good drop in coil tank for RDL and DL. You can do a loose MTL also.

INITIAL THOUGHTS:

The Z50 kit I received was a retail version and was not in the nice larger box with the orange flip up flap like some of the others I’ve received. It had the outer sleeve with a picture on the front and contents listed on the back like you will see if you buy one. The standard black box was underneath with a lift off top that exposed the rainbow Z50 that I received and the Nano tank and accessories were underneath. I have to admit that I am not a fan of rainbow mods and tanks. I’ve never purchased a rainbow device and probably never will. That being said, the sides of the mod looked more like purple than rainbow but the face where the screen and buttons sit did look very rainbow. I personally don’t love the side panels on this version near as much as some of the other colors than look more like stabilized wood. I do like the new Z logo with a hand holding a lightning bolt that is on the back of the mod and on the inner barrel of the tank.










I like that there is minimal branding on the Z50. The only branding is on the back with the hand holding the lightning bolt and Geekvape Z below that. On the top of the mod is the 510 connector with a gold plated center pin. The tank is an almost perfect fit on it and there is very little room for a bigger tank without some overhang. On the front of the mod is the fire button at the top, display screen below that, the + and – buttons below the screen and then the USB-C charging port for the built in 2000mah battery and charges at 2A. To me the display screen is nice and bright and appears to be very similar to the display on other Geekvape mods. The display shows the following from top to bottom.

Like I said, the menu operation is the same as far as I can remember. However, I will go ahead and list the functions for users that are not as familiar with Geekvape devices.

- Press the fire button five times to turn the device on and off

- Press the fire button three times to highlight the mode at the top then use + and – to switch between Power, TC-SS, TC-TCR, VPC, and Bypass

- Press the + and – buttons to lock adjustments only

- While adjustment is locked, press the fire button three times to lock the fire button as well

- Press the fire button and + or – to adjust the display brightness

- With the mode highlighted after pressing the fire button three times, press + and – to change the color of the display between blue, yellow , red , orange, or green

- To reset the puff counter, press the fire button three times to highlight the mode on top, press the fire button once to highlight the resistance to lock it or press the fire button a second time to highlight the puff counter. Press the + button to zero the puff counter or press the – button to bring back the last puff count.


The Z50 is a pretty small mod but has a decent weight to it with the Nano tank on top. I think it’s comfortable to hold and the fire button has a nice click to it. The menu has a lot of features but if you’ve used Geekvape mods before then you won’t have any problems navigating it. The nice thing is to use the mod you really don’t need to know all of the stuff I listed before if you are just a wattage vaper. Just how to turn it on and off and adjust the wattage.








I have reviewed the Nano tank in the past so will just spend a little time talking about it. Just like the previous version, it’s a ¼ turn to take the top cap off to fill. I do wish the fill ports were a little bigger but I do very much like the Nano tank and have three of the previous version before the logo and name change. The Nano has quite a bit of airflow for a smallish tank. I usually run the airflow between ¼ and 1/3 open whether I’m using the .6 coil rated for 15-25 watts or the .3 coil rated for 30-38 watts. The Nano uses a 510 drip tip which I find comfortable and like. The top cap is tapered up as it approaches the tip opening so not all tips will look good on it. It uses the B series coils which have been used before on other Geekvape devices. They are a solid coil and I like them. The only real complaint I have on the Nano is the fill ports are a little too small.






FINAL THOUGHTS:

I feel like the Z50 is another solid device from Geekvape. I know I mentioned it before but don’t really care for the rainbow color. Other than that I had a good experience using the Z50 and Nano tank.

While testing the Z50 I got to thinking to myself what makes this device different from other mods on the market. After reviewing so many devices in the past I tried to think of what makes this one different that would make me want to purchase one or multiples of the kit. It is a built in battery but that doesn’t scare me off. I’ve got two of the Aegis Mini mods with built in batteries that I got when they were first released an both still work fine. I feel like the design of some of the other colors available are quite attractive so that would be a plus. To me for as small as the Z50 is, the 2000mah battery seems like a good capacity. The screen and menu are good features also.

The Nano tank although just rebranded compared to the previous version, is still a solid tank. It’s nice that the Nano uses the B series coils that are compatible with other devices.

To me the question here is if the Z50 kit is different enough or feature rich enough to warrant your interest enough to purchase one. It is a step away from the Aegis line so that’s a little different. Would I recommend it? If you are looking for a smallish device with a built in battery that you can use either the included Nano tank or any tank with a 510 connection depending on how particular you are about overhang on the tank then yes I’d recommend it from my experience so far.

Hello everyone! Long time lurker here, just wondered if any of you fine people would happen to have a V3 or 4 authentic spheroid for sale and or trade! These things seem to be rarer than my steaks!

I have a small collection of authentic stuff that I'd like to sell or trade as well in the future as well, so if you can help with spheroid or you're interested in blue tongue mods, vape smarter, noname, Evl, or psyclone mods let me know!

I usually make 500ml batches and add the nicotine after the steep and on a per use, 30ml of juice at a time.
Any benefit to the way im doing it?

The Z50 device has a built in 2000 mAH battery and has a maximum wattage capacity of 50w, along with wattage the Z50 has 4 other power modes that are TC-SS, TC-TCR, VPC, and BYPASS. Paired with the Z50 is the Z Nano with the new Z logo. This little power house uses the same chip that's used in the new Legend 2 with one small difference. FIRST IMPRESSIONS


The Z 50 Kit came packaged like most products from Geek Vape do with a box that slides out of a outer sleeve having the Z 50 Mod in a cut out with the Z Nano tank and accessories as well as your user manual, warning card and other Geek Vape paperwork below.





The Z Nano tank is the same Nano tank of past that I already reviewed but the new 2021 version has the new Z logo that still is top airflow making it very leak resistant. Opening the top cap is done with a quarter turn reveling the 2 fill ports across from each other. I wish the fill ports were a bit wider because using a gorilla bottle you can't get the bottle tip into the ports so slow filling is needed or you will create bubbles and juice will begin to back up so always fill slowly.





The tank still uses the proven B series of coils that provide great flavor with vapor being full as well. B coils just push into place and are removed by just pulling them out, sometimes they can be difficult to get free so Geek Vape provides a coil removal assist tool. On each side of the coil are 2 large juice supply slots. The tank comes with the 0.3Ω mesh coil pre-installed that is rated for 30- 38w, also included is the 0.6Ω mesh coil that is rated for 15 - 25w.






I really like the new logo of the Z series and think the old Zeus face became rather dated so it was time for a change. the Z50 mod has a spring loaded 510 pin and it's top plate can accept a 24mm tank with a miniscule of overhang.





The new logo is also on the spine of the Z 50 along with Geek Vape Z written across and a series of vertical lines that bring it all together giving it a attractive appearance in my opinion.





Geek Vape has chosen to go with 4 color decors that should please most people. I was sent the gunmetal with a stabilized wood pattern that is inlayed on both sides of the Z50 mod and I like how it turned out.







The Z 50 uses the same chip that is in the newly released Aegis Legend 2 that I reviewed a few weeks back, the performance is really good and the features of the new chip include instant fire, new color display with 5 options of color . The only difference between the 2 is that the Aegis Legend uses a manual lock to lock adjustments and firing of the mod.

The Z 50 has a electronic wattage only lock while still being able to vape. The color display has a good layout just like the Legend 2 does. From top to bottom the layout reads like this.

FINAL IMPRESSIONS


The first thing that I want to talk about is just how nice the device looks and the Nano tank matches perfectly in color as well as size proportion with the Z 50. I can't speak for all the colors but the gunmetal color that I received looks very attractive.

The tank performs very well using both coils but my favorite is the 0.3 giving me a little bit of warmth running it at 40 watts. Being a user of B coils very often because they perform great with flavor that always hits the mark and more vapor than I need. Just make sure you fill the Nano slowly as I said earlier. Having narrow fill ports is the tanks only con.

As far as the mod goes I really have no cons for it but lots of likes such as the the chip it uses. The buttons are responsive, display is vivid and bright and having 5 choices of colors for the display is a bonus.

As a full kit I think it's a winner and will continue to use it until it's battery becomes depleted in a few years or longer, I stil have built in battery devices that are 5 yrs old and stil work fine so who knows how long.

Looking for avs dual core wire spools on the off chance somebody might have some and be willing to sell preferably 30ft spools, I’m in the uk though so just a heads up.

Began vaping several years ago & have seen the hardware evolve continually.
For the last several years , Ive not paid that much attention save for an occasional tryout of a new RTA now & then.

Current system in use is a Dvarw or Pioneer RTA & either a Jac series-B or one of 4 Vaporesso Target mini 2's.
I find these easy to manage, always a great vape & with very adequate battery life.
They do require that one builds & wicks each RTA device, the material costs for that are truly inconsequential, but time isn't.

So I'm curious to learn if a pod system holds an advantage over a conventional RTA type arrangement & in what regard.
What are the characteristics of a pod system that make them attractive ?
I assume its the 'no building' & perhaps small size aspects, but are there other plusses I'm unaware of ?
What are the comparative downsides ? Ex ; battery life, swapping juices, coil expense.
How long does a coil/wick set up last in a pod & still supply good flavor ?
