I know I'm casting a wide net here. Turns out upon a storage check I am sorely missing mtl Rdl RTA's. I really only have the doggy that I enjoy. I don't really like it too restrictive I prefer it to have a fairly restrictive direct lung option or at least a loose mtl. I don't want any of the berserkers. Neither do I want Ares.

Just wondering if there's anyone out there with something that fits the bill that they're not using that they wouldn't mind parting with.

For example the Brunhilde mtl looks completely perfect. Not looking for anything high-end. I know I'm late to the game and I understand that this might be a tall order but I just thought I should give it a try

I myself see a mark more as a sign that can take on many forms but it will be clear in specific aspect, it will be against all that is G-d and G-d's. KF clone with 6 wraps of 30AWG Kanthal A1 @ 1.7 ohms @ 12W with 18mg 100% VG juice and one 18650 battery.

Expectation is that I should be able to get more than a few hours out of the setup before ether the tank or battery run dry.

These tests below only note the ESTIMATED ratings for these batteries at the time I tested them. Any battery that is not a genuine Samsung, Sony, Murata, LG, Panasonic, Molicel, or Sanyo can change at any time! This is one of the hazards of using “rewrapped” or batteries from other manufacturers so carefully research any battery you are considering using before purchasing.

Misusing or mishandling lithium-ion batteries can pose a SERIOUS RISK of personal injury or property damage. They are not meant to be used outside of a physically and electrically protected battery pack. Never exceed the battery’s current rating and keep the plastic wrap and top insulating ring in perfect condition. Use of any of these batteries is AT YOUR OWN RISK.

Testing batteries at their limits is dangerous and should never, ever, be attempted by anyone who has not thoroughly studied the dangers involved, understands the risks, has the proper equipment, and takes all appropriate safety precautions.

If the battery has only one current rating number, or if it only says "max", then I have to assume the battery is rated at that current level for any type of discharge, including continuous.




Test Results
This tested out as a pretty good performing 20A cell. Except for a slight dip in voltage at the start it is essentially equal in performance to the Samsung 25R5 down to about 3.1V.

BAK is a huge China manufacturer and cells from companies like these will become more important as cells from Samsung, Murata, LG, etc., become harder and harder to buy.

The datasheet lists a 30A “max continuous discharge current” but also lists a 75°C maximum cell temperature limit and a 3.0V voltage limit.

Since this cell would reach about 90°C when discharged at 30A this confirms it is a “temperature limited” and “voltage limited” current rating. This means that you could run this cell at 30A but must stop before it drops to 3.0V or reaches 75°C (which is pretty hot).

The two cells I tested delivered 2554mAh and 2549mAh and had DC internal resistances of 19.2mOhm and 19.5mOhm. This is fantastic consistency and both cells exceed BAK’s 2400mAh minimum and 2500mAh typical capacity ratings.

I have had an aegis boost for a while now and for some reason my coils just don’t last more than a week. I use 0.4 coils at about about 28watts with 70/30 juice- same as my last device.

no matter what I do with airflow, wattage or keeping the tank constantly almost full it only ever lasts no more than a week.

anyone know what may be causing this? I’m not new to vaping and make sure my coil is always properly prepped before using.

I just brought a Smok Nord 4. The kit came with 2 coils; a .16 Ohm coil and a .6 Ohm coil. BUT, when I look online it says that I am supposed to receive a .6 Ohm coil and a 1.4 Ohm coil. The reason this matters is because I am trying to quit smoking and want to use Nicotine Salts. From reading Online they say I need a 1 Ohm to 1.4 Ohm Coil, for best results when using g Nicotine Salts. Freemax Onnix is the latest release from a company that really knows how to do "Flavour"… For a start, it uses replaceable coils which have different technologies to kick out the flavour. Both are included in the kit: OX Mesh Coil – 0.5ohm – SS904L mesh and Tea Fibre Cotton wicking ideal for 0.6mg freebase e-liquid. Hi all, been hoarding for vape mail ban. hope my slowtech orders for hardware come.
said the big thing to buy was nicotine, I might have over done it. calculated it out, came out to 7 year supply of 100mg liquid concentrate.
I am not sure it will keep for that long in dark cupboard, lots of mixed opinion's on on web,
cant afford a deep freezer etc. Some I read said dark place fine, others say must be in a freezer,

I’m back once again today to present yet another review. This time I will be attempting to cover the EH Pro Cold Steel 100 Mod. This mod seems very small in the hand for a 21700/ 20700/ 18650 mod and is very comfortable to hold. Although it’s not one of the most popular brands out there, I think it’s a very nice and simple mod that can fit in a pocket and still last me through the whole day for my style of vaping. Let’s see what’s included and I’ll give my opinions on it so you can judge for yourself if it would be a good fit for you also.

FIRST IMPRESSIONS:

The Cold Steel 100 comes in quite a different package than what I’m used to seeing. The box itself is quite small and when opened I found what appeared to be a belt holster like one would store a pocket knife in on their belt. However, it doesn’t appear that there is room once the pouch is closed that there would be room for a tank on the mod if you were actually going to wear it on your belt. Besides user manual and warranty card, there is a USB mini charging cable and 18650 battery adapter included.

The mod itself reminds me of the old Zen mods from years ago or even somewhat similar to the SX mini. Its basic design is a battery tube with the board and closure mounted on the side. I know the picture above shows the Ambitionz Vaper logo above the fire button but the one that I received does not have that. As a matter of fact, the mod doesn’t have any kind of markings or branding on it besides the Cold Steel stamped into the metal on the back of the unit on the bottom. With the black version, it is barely noticeable.

The one I received is black. It seems like a decent finish on it. From top to bottom on the face of the mod is the fire button, display screen, + and – buttons, and USB mini charging port. When the mod is first turned on the display shows Cold Steel. The display is a little small compared to some more current mods. The display shows the mode (normal, soft, hard), atomizer resistance, a battery level indicator, voltage of current puff, and in larger font the set wattage. The operation is as follows:

- Press the fire button five times to turn on and off

- Press the fire button to go to the mode menu and use the + and – buttons to scroll through the available modes( Power, Temperature control, Curve, Bypass, and Volt)

- Press the + and – buttons to lock the mod from firing or adjusting

- Press the fire and – button to flip the screen

- Press the fire and + button to lock the adjustment buttons

- Press the fire, + and – buttons to go to stealth mode









FINAL THOUGHTS:

Overall I liked the simplicity and the feeling in the hand of the Cold Steel mod. Yes the display is a little small and doesn’t show a ton of information on the screen but sometimes simple is better. The mod is very small and lightweight in my opinion for a 21700 mod. Sometimes it’s hard to put into words how well a mod feels in the hand. For me, this is one of the most comfortable to hold 21700 mods that I’ve tried.

It has all of the basic modes that you see on most mods. I usually don’t use temperature control and am for the most part a wattage vaper. I used to play around with some of the curve functions on different mods but to me it wasn’t usually worth the trouble. I like that the mod will fit a 25mm tank comfortably. I have heard some remarks about this mod being a copy of the SX mini but you could get a few of these for the same price as one of the SX. I do own an SX and yes it is similar in design. The cold steel is smaller and lighter weight. No it’s not a high end mod but seems to function well in my opinion for what it is. If you’re looking for an inexpensive 21700 mod that works well and doesn’t have a noticeable lag on firing then it may be a good fit for you. So would I recommend the EH Pro Cold Steel mod? Yes I would. It may just be my opinion but I very much like it and plan on continuing to use it. As usual, a big thanks to Sourcemore and Lilia for sending this for review.
