I wondered this. I think the threading is probably right, but the KF5 threading is proud of the positive post, the prime looks to have shorter threading with the slot in a kind of cap...

I've just discovered the MTL kit - transforms the KF5 for me...

I like that the V5's air post is above the positive block, reduces the possibility of leaking IMHO.

Haven't tried the MTL kit, just modified my draw and got just as nice a flavour, if not richer and warmer, than the KFL+.

And I know this sounds weird, but I prefer the draw of the KFL+.
