Welcome. If anyone can confirm the compatibility on other tanks I'll keep the list updated.
Confirmed on this thread...

Anyvape FuryTank - top threads not used (Confirmed by Me and JGeorge)

eleaf iJust2 - top threads not used (Confirmed, but... zipflint said - doesn't let the cCell head wick 70/40 joose very well at all)

I'd have to search this thread for more Confirmations.

TC, or not TC. That is the question. For is it better to suffer the taste of burnt cotton, or...

Sorry, Will...

I like TC in all modes, though I am a strong proponent of SS. I have one mod, though, that gives me real problems with TCR adjusted SS. All of the others work fine.

What I did find, however, is that TC in sub tanks is not so very good, regardless of the wire used. I get little flavor, little vapor... Lately, I've been running .4 Ti1 coils in a series of Squapes and Kayfuns, Russians and Taifuns. The vape has been outstanding around 460 F

I don´t use TC, using the Kanthal coils myself :)

Me either, there was something about the coil being encased in ceramic and not getting a good read.

I haven't had a dry hit since the ce4 days. I can see in a tank and most heads have a manufacturers recommended range to go by so there's no real excuse for dry hits unless your just pushing it. Also I know when it's time to drip the flavor starts falling off, so... anyway there's a place for TC many love it. For me not so much and the .9 kanthal cCell is killing it at 30w. I'd prolly have a TC device now if I could find an enclosure that I like to house my DNA 200 but no hurry now.

I'm an absent - minded vapor. I'll start with a full tank, and just vape without ever looking at the tank, until I get a dry hit. It's my own stupidity, but it happens.

I'll admit I did when I first started building and dripping. Get ta talking and next thing you know.......TC wasn't an option then neither were sub ohm tanks. When my nephew quit analogs we started him with an IPV D2 and an Atlantis. Then he moved to a Sig. 150 TC and a Crown tank. He loved them and it worked he's free of everything. I did have to show him my old carto set up I keep for memories to give him an idea of where I started and where he did and all of the options.

cCell + Beyond vape Silo beast tank = confirmed
Works perfect, no leakage, quite cool vape, works both direct lung or mouth to lung.
Top-fill, 4.5ml

Ok here's another tank to add to the compatible list. The tobeco super tank mini. Very inexpensive. Available in a multitude of colors. 4 ml the easiest top fill around, great airflow and best of all NO leaks. The C Cell coils rock in this little tank.

That sounds promising! vaporrange.com has both the mini and full size Super Tanks in stock for $20. I normally always go with the larger tank, but the regular Super Tank looks pretty darn ugly.

...is this the tank you're talkin' about? (I ask because it looks somewhat different than your picture...)

Tobeco Super Tank Sub Ohm Sub-Ohm Tank

Also...question...if I used a .9Ω Kanthal cCELL...and closed the AFC DOWN sufficiently...would a MTL/Tootle Puffer end up with a satisfying vape???

Excellent work, keeping this list up to date and very comprehensive! I've got a Tobecco Super Tank mini on the way (should get here by Friday) and I'll be sure to post in here if it gives me any trouble. But I'm not expecting any.

Thanks.....It was started by a very knowledgeable modder on another forum. I added to the list and brought it here. A friend told me about the cCells and I tried one. Been a believer since. My Super Tank mini would leak a little with the factory .2 heads. I liked the tank a lot but I don't do well with a leaker. Flash backs from the orchid I guess. The cCell cured the leak somehow ( lower operating wattage less heat?) and the flavor is awesome. I haven't taken the tank off since installing the coil. Besides I love the mini's design and the top fill is second to none. I did find this as far as the proprietary drip tip is concerned:

TOBECO SUB OHM * MINI * SUPERTANK REPLACEMENT THREADED DRIP TIP CAP AND DRIP TIP ADAPTER ACCESSORY

That's what I found for top cap replacement, too. I want a white top cap! :D

no you can't really get MTL with the super tank mini, even with the airflow on the last notch it's pretty airy

Hi guys, I'm new to the forum. Thanks for your help, because of this thread i saw compatible tanks and went with the melo 2 which is working great so far. I did have a target kit with tank, but unfortunately it had the screen glitch so I returned it for an exchange in hopes the new one works and I'm waiting on that to come in. Hopefully i won't have to go through 4+ exchanges to get one that functions properly like some have had to do.
Also think I'm going to get the tobeco mini tank, seems like the liquid has very easy access to the coil with it.
As for the Gemini, all the pics i have seen for it say 3ml....kind of underwhelming. The only reason I'm interested in it is because of the new coils it comes with. If the new coils are released at the same time i'll just go with those but haven't found any info on that. Don't get why they just didn't make it 4ml at least.

Anyone having burnt tasting coils right out of the pack? I bought a 5 pack and the first one was awesome but now coils 2 and 3 are giving me a burnt taste no matter what I do. If I drop some liquid into the center of the coil it will vape good until that dries up then its back to burnt hits. FWIW, Im using a Triton V1 and a Triton V2 tank on my SX Mini at 30 watts. If i drop the wattage to 25 or raise it to 35 its still burnt city...Bad coils or something else?

Just one MTL turtle puffer's opinion, Gerry:

No, I haven't found satisfaction with the .9Ω cCell. When I shut down the airflow sufficiently for MTL, it is either too hot a vape at higher power or too meager a vape at lower power. Like most low resistance heads, it is just not made for MTL.

On the Beyond vape Silo beast I get a satisfactional MTL when I close the airflow almost off, not too hot at 30w 0.9ohm

My Tobecco Super Tank Mini arrived today; took it apart (which was difficult, everything was REALLY screwed down tight), washed everything, primed a kanthal cCell, installed it, filled the tank almost full with the airflow totally closed. Screwed the drip tip back on (it's proprietary but I rather like it), opened up the airflow and zero leaking!

10 minutes of excellent flavor and clouds, vaping at 30 watts. I sat the mod down for maybe 10 minutes to clean up something in the kitchen, and when I went for another drag, it was kinda flooded. No biggie, thought I. Happens sometimes. I was using a 50/50 (Pop's Pipe from Good Life Vapor) liquid too.

I thought I could just vape through it. That's what I usually do with any other tank. But this just got worse and worse, until e-liquid started trickling out of one of the air slots.

So, gang, any suggestions? Maybe I primed the coil too much before installing it? All the o-rings look to be in good shape. I'll try a higher-VG liquid soon and post the results.

But if anyone has any tips, let's have 'em!
