That's what I'm doing awaiting fastech to send me my replacement Target mod.......mine got white half blank screen and got too warm......
Any updates from fasttech about your replacement? Mine has been received by the vendor but they haven't emailed me yet confirming the problem/sending out a replacement. Hopefully won't be too long with fast tech, my last order with them took ages, using SingPost, even though i specified i did NOT want singpost..
Anyone else with the target mod screen glitch error, I just saw an update by Lake Superior Vapor (on youtube) who has had to send his back many times because of the same issue. He posted an update video including an email sent from the company regarding a "Master Reset" and further instructions for fixing the glitch.

I skipped the mod, but I can't wait to try the tank. Are people generally still pretty impressed with the coils?

I agree the tank is pretty good. The o-rings on the drip tip could be beefier though, its a little loose at times. and maybe it was just mine, but when doing primer pulls i got the feeling the tank wasn't 100% air tight, but never had leaks or anything. my coils go up to a week before flavor starts dropping off (also i chain vape), i could keep using them but i'm picky about flavor and even a small change makes me grumpy lol. and i was using vape wild with extra flavor, which some say they load up on the sweetener which gunks coils normally. haven't tried cleaning but earlier in the thread there are a few tips involving pure grain alcohol, and then dipping in extremely hot water, which extended the life. I'm assuming the life would be prolonged with a clearer liquid. I've heard of people going weeks with the same coil. as for flavor change, it goes pretty smoothly, i emptied out the tank completely and wiped down the coil, and usually after about 3 or 4 puffs the new flavor was there. the only exception was when i was going from a french toast flavor, heavy on the cinnamon, that took longer for the flavor to transition to the new one without getting hints of the cinnamon

no you can't really get MTL with the super tank mini, even with the airflow on the last notch it's pretty airy.

Just one MTL turtle puffer's opinion, Gerry:

No, I haven't found satisfaction with the .9Ω cCell. When I shut down the airflow sufficiently for MTL, it is either too hot a vape at higher power or too meager a vape at lower power. Like most low resistance heads, it is just not made for MTL.

Thanx for the answers jesses and VT...

As a confirmed MTL Tootle Puffer...guess I'll take them off my "list"...

Also...question...if I used a .9Ω Kanthal cCELL...and closed the AFC DOWN sufficiently...would a MTL/Tootle Puffer end up with a satisfying vape???
One vaper said...

No joy with the .9Ω Kanthal cCell. When the airflow is shut down for MTL, it's either too hot at higher power or too lean at lower power.

What about a medium power setting, @gerrymi ? Have you worked with airflow to find your preferred draw, and then work with the power?

Just one vaper's suggestion.

(I know nothing of any validity about the issue, but...)

Tomatoes are edible, but I wouldn't want to inhale one.
LOL next to tobacco Tomato's I am told are also rich in nicotine, back in 2012 when I first started vaping and did not know where to buy nic juice; which by the way I no longer use as I an Nic Free; I did try to extract Nic from Tobacco......well I won't go into that nonsense, however I wonder if one can extract nic from tomatos LOL....Tomato flavoured e-juice would be interesting LOL

I received my Tobeco super tank mini today and am on my first tank. so far so good. For those who have it I have a question, after I washed it, i noticed a loose O-ring in the sink. i couldn't figure out where it went in the tank, and i know it wasn't from the Melo 2 i had washed out too today. the tank is working fine without it apparently. its driving me nuts though! Does anyone who have this tank recoginize where it goes? It looks similar to the one thats under the drip tip top cap that screws off, but maybe a tiny bit larger. its about the diamater of the glass but can't figure out its purpose.View media item 429504

I don't have the Tobeco yet, but could it be that it fits into the base? It looks like a bottom gasket to me.

The bottom has a big o-ring that supports the glass, theres not really another spot this one could go into, unless it rests on top of another o-ring? never heard of that before tho. Didn't have any leaking overnight, so seems to be working ok without it!

Well hey, spare parts are only bad when it leaks, right?? :D That's weird, though!

I thought the same thing! :?:

They need to hire you. You have brought up so many good points and questions, they should consider consulting with you first!

If you dry burn the ceramic coil it supposed to clean it up. You can also run it under cold water and wash the residue off. I asked Google "how does a C-Cell coil cleans itself " and it brought up info about the Target VTC and the ceramic coil.

Isn't there cotton surrounding the coil though? You can't dry burn because of that, I thought.

A few wraps of Dental Floss under (or...if you're lazy like me...OVER) the O-Ring will tighten up that Drip Tip just fine.

..
Thanks for the tip i'll try it! also while I'm here i'll mention i just received another pack of .9 kanthal coils from an eBay vendor, and the upc label was different from the one i had purchased originally, but other than that everything else concerning the packaging as well as the coils themselves looked exactly the same. i emailed vendor asking if authentic and he said they work directly with vaporesso so yes they were 100% authentic. anyone have any idea why they would have different upcs? i plugged the original code into google and the description for the coils came up like i expected. the new upc didn't bring anything up in search results. The original one that comes up in search is 841781100042. The one from the new box is 6970186230048.

Dry burning will damage them. The "Self-Cleaning" statement only means that the cCell will recover if the Wattage is too high for a brief, very brief, time. Like getting a dry hit. Just refill and it will be fine.

That is true, and the manual say not to Dry Burn.
