Just got the Freemax Scylla brilliant top fill and the Ccell coils work in that too, Bonus !

I have a question regarding the Freemax Scylla tank. It's says it backwards compatible with the Freemax Star coils, I've heard the Aspire coils work in the Freemax Star, and I've also heard that the Vaporesso cCell coils are compatible with Aspire tanks. So my question is, can I use all those different coils in the Freemax Scylla? If so I plan on purchasing it, if not I'll probably get an Aspire Trition. Any advice or help would be much appreciated.

Hey All: I'm still Back Reading!??

I Do Not Have the Mod or Tanks but I do have the Coils both the Nickel .2 & Kanthal .9.

Our Friend CoolAddict Turned me on to this Thread said Maybe I should check it out? I'm Glad I did Thanks CA!

I'm Looking Forward to the Stainless Coils! And because of some of the Controversy and Dislike of Certain cCell Coils I'm Contemplating Trying the Vaporesso Tanks!?? I don't know?

I've been using Eight (8) of the Coils going on a Month and a Half in Heavy Use with Absolutely No Complaints! But that is with My Own Mods and Tanks! So.............?

Anyway, I want to learn more about these! Especially The Mods & The Tanks! I Love the Flavor, Longevity and Vape of the cCell Coils So Far but for what they seem I've Barely Broke Em in! So if it's OK with You'all maybe I'll stick around a bit?

I'm finding that temperature control in general isn't for me. It has some pros and cons, but I like kanthal better. The next mod I get, I will get one that does stainless in TC and give that a try. I like the idea of being able to run a coil in either mode.

I have 3 different Mods with "SS mode" [and 2 of them have selectable TCR values]...but...after much playing around with them...I've found I much prefer the flavor and vapor amount/temperature of my SS coils in "VW mode"...

Ok here's another tank to add to the compatible list. The tobeco super tank mini. Very inexpensive. Available in a multitude of colors. 4 ml the easiest top fill around, great airflow and best of all NO leaks. The C Cell coils rock in this little tank.

What VG/PG ratios have you run through it? I've run into problems with the cCells and my iJust2 tank; high-VG e-liquid can't deal with the tight spaces around some of the wick holes. 50/50 is no problem, and probably 60/40 is fine as well. But 70/30 VG/PG and up and it's dry hit city.

I only just ran into this today. For whatever reason, I just had not run any thick joose through the setup until now. So I'm REAL keen to know for sure if the Tobeco super tank mini is better. What about the regular, full-size super tank? I'm totally unfamiliar with these tanks....time to do some diggin'.

That sounds promising! vaporrange.com has both the mini and full size Super Tanks in stock for $20. I normally always go with the larger tank, but the regular Super Tank looks pretty darn ugly. And since this will be living on my Vaporshark rDNA 40 anyway, might as well keep it small.

Plus, if the top filling system works (I have real bad problems with top-filling rebuildable tanks, but that's for another thread) like it should, the smallish capacity won't be an issue.

Thanks for finding this tank and showing us that it works, Major!

The top fill on this tank works better than any other I've tried. There is no juice flow to mess with and no need to close the airflow just unscrew the drip tip pour in the juice (you can fill this thing right to the brim). It has never leaked a drop. It's the only tank I've ever dared to fill without taking it off my mod. Enough about the tank. The biggest selling point is it's a perfect match for the vaporesso coils

I bought the rose colored Vaporesso kit, love it. I was surprised that it is small, lots of clouds, great taste. From some of the other reviews, guess I got lucky.
I got tired of burnt cotton taste, and this does not give dry hits. BUT, it does spit back and leak out the air holes when the coils gets old (say about 1 week).
I have an old coil soaking to clean it, right now. Hope that fixes the leaking and spitting. I keep the temperature between 25 to 28 with the kanthol coils.
The Ccoil does fit the Atlantis and Morpheus attys, but same leak and spit problem.
I also purchased a Soter by CeraVape. It is a big tank that takes 3 ceramic coils. After about 5 to 10 puffs, it not only leaks, but POURS hot juice out the bottom air holes. Been in contact with the company, basically they keep making the same suggestions over and over, never got anywhere. This is not the first terrible product I have purchased from them, but will never buy from them again.
Ooooh the Rose Gold the one I would have gotten if I hadn't won the one I did. It's so pretty. :)
I have a little trick I use when I get a spitty coil (and, actually, on all of my coils). I run a Q-tip down the drip tip to sop up any collected juice condensation. It works very well to stop the spitting and it also keeps the chimney much cleaner. I can also gauge whether my coil is getting old or not this way. If the juice comes back dark, it's probably time to change the coil or at least take it out and check it. You might try upping the wattage just a little bit to see if that helps. Vaporesso recommends using the kanthal head at around 35 watts in the Target tank. I was running mine at around 25 watts until I read that and now I vape it between 30 and 32 usually. I can't say for sure if this will help you or not, but that's my experience if you are interested. :D

Hey Skully! I'm so glad you made it over here! :) The Target tank is great, but the Gemini tank by Vaporesso is due to be released soon and it's bigger AND it's top fill! Of course with the Target tanks you get better color options, so if you are in the market for a Rose Gold or Purple tank, go for it! Oh they also come in black and white, too. :D

Since you are reading through the thread I won't bore you with the details, but you can clean these coils pretty efficiently when you think they are ready for that. There are a few methods some of us have tried. It's so nice to be able to revitalize and reuse the cCells. Oh and now that you are here, you are officially a sinterhead!! :D

I have only used SS once or twice, but I found the same thing to be true for me. I actually just plain prefer VW mode over TC, I think. I have not been able to get the experience I want from TC with any of the wire types I have tried so far. I keep hoping that eventually I will figure out what the big deal is, but until then I'm good with VW. :D

Thanks, Major! I have been looking for a white top fill tank! That gray one actually looks like it would match the gray iStick. I don't have a tank to match that mod, but I am wrapping it anyway, lol. It's nice to see that there is a tank that would go with it, though. I think my SS tanks look funny on that mod. :D

Hey Junglegeorge, thanks for assembling that list. It is very helpful. Were you tracking all of these as they appeared in the thread?

I thought maybe another useful datapoint would be whether or not the cCell head/tank combo can handle high VG e-liquid. For example, the iJust2 tank that I THOUGHT would be perfect, doesn't let the cCell head wick 70/40 joose very well at all.
But, great work already! :)

There were some issues using the TC cCells and being able to get an accurate read. I'll see if I can find it again and the mod's used. Didn't bother me I don't use TC and I'm not in a big hurry to change now.

Welcome. If anyone can confirm the compatibility on other tanks I'll keep the list updated.

I don´t use TC, using the Kanthal coils myself :)
