Thanks, Katya!! I was hoping you'd chime in with those spacer things I've seen you mention before. Just couldn't remember where to get them. So, you're saying I don't have to put the spacer UNDER the pin - just raise the pin a hair, and put the spacer on like a little life preserver???:)

Nope. You do one or the other--either raise the pin (it works for a while, but chances are it will sink again, especially if you tend to over tighten your toppers, or just drop the spacer into the well--not under the pin--on top of it--and let it rest there.

Be careful--those things are tiny and easily get lost. Also, that spacer might stick to the pin of your atty when wet, so keep an eye on it when you're removing your topper.

Good luck!

I have been a great fan of the iSticks, but my 30w has started showing signs so I have just purchased the Joytech vtc mini as it has replaceable batteries and this is so far working great and I find a smoother vape than the isticks i own (20w/30w/40w/50w). Also has the plus of Temperature control if I want to start playing with that and up to 75w now I have upgraded the firmware to the latest version.

And...at $28.89...they're giving them away...

(When I ordered...they were In Stock...took 10 days from order (China) to mailbox (Pennsylvania)...

Thanks, Katya. I've ordered the spacers and air controllers. Mad Vapes is here in NC, and they've already shipped my package. Should have it soon, I'm thinking.

I was just browsing myvaporstore and they have the Eleaf iStick 60W TC Melo 2 Starter Kit for $50. You can get the silver or black frame for the same price.

Great price for a somewhat hard to find kit...

(3FVape has [the BLACK] for a $1 less...with FREE shipping...)

Katya, you're a genius! That little spacer fixed my problem right away. I also ordered the air controller, and will probably just keep one on the worst of the 2, along with the spacer. I ordered extra spacers in case I lose any. Easy-peasy fix, so thank you soooooo much!!

So glad I could have been of help!

I keep my airflow controller on my iStick 20 permanently--to protect those soft threads and the pin.

Good thing about the air-flow control adapter is the center pin is movable. Screw down the control ring, then screw on your atty and the pin on the adapter will go down as far down as you'd want. Take off the atty, then screw the adapter onto the iStick (which pushes the pin up to an appropriate position - not unduly squashing the mods 510 pin), screw the atty back on and finally adjust the control ring so that it abuts the bottom of the atty. Solid.

Mine just happens to be the same diameter as a GS-M tank. I wish they made one that is 22mm in diameter, but I haven't been able to find one. Closest I've found is an 22mm adapter with cooling fins, but it is noticeably taller than the air-flow control adapter.

Although I probably wouldn't order their particular Adapter by itself (because of the shipping cost)...if you're ever at Madvapes ordering something else...I think you should consider throwing a couple of these into your cart.

Its listed as "510=>EGo"...but (as shown in the picture) also works GREAT for "510=>510".

It has a spring-loaded pin so it easily rectifies the fixed pin issues on the 20W-iStick, KBOX Mini, VV V3, etc.

And...to me...it looks quite "sophisticated" on my Mods.

Sry, I may have formulated that part confusingly. All I meant to say was, you now have a third option (Ti) when browsing through the modes with the middle button when the device is back on :)

Mine Works FOR EVERYTHING; doing this, INCLUDING CENTER MODE BUTTON!
Thanks

While I'm still new to tc, I have question to ask. I have iStick 40w and it acts weird, as I see it locking resistance doesn't work as it should. I'd doesn't matter if it's in lock or unlock position, resistance changes after I switch atomizers. The only difference is the device asks is that new atomizer while unlocked. And even after device is woken from sleep I have to relock. If I have been vaping on 011 , after device goes to sleep (unused for hour or so)or is turned off, it will show 08. I will need to hit fire several times(short bursts less then second), unlock, rescrew atomizer and only then I will see 011, lock resistance and the can continue vaping.
Is my device defected or I'm doing something wrong?

Are you sure the correct res isn't 08? When it's reading 08 can you just increase the temp and vape on?

I think low temp was the issue, added +100F (now it's 470) and its fine with initial 08. Thanks, lots to learn here.
Some atomizers seem to settle a bit and res drops a little. 470 sounds like a decent temp.
The lock function allows you to remove the atomizer and put it back when it's warm without it taking a new resistance reading. It will allow a res change if the resistance drops though. Some use the res lock and some don't. Vapes good either way as long as you pay attention.
