Sure do. And when I was a kid the world was still black & white. We didn't get color until my 6th year or so.

:lol::lol::lol::lol::lol:
Well, I remember tv always being in color, but we had to get up and change the channel, and turn the antenna, while we sat in front of a swamp cooler in the summer and a wood stove in the winter!

I have my concealed carry as well now. I always have it with me except for running and biking, but I forget that I do.

Serious question because I've never understood the reasoning. Why is concealed carry better than open carry? It would seem that a bad guy would hesitate to start crap if they could see that the 'good' guys are carrying?

Yes, now we just have remotes for all of that nonsense. Oh, and gym memberships so we can get some exercise. o_O :D

We had this saying while i was on vacation "say YES to life", wake up at 4am to watch the sunrise? Yes! Go crabbing with flashlights at 10pm? YES! Learn to play cribbage? Yes! I'm still operating on that plane. It adds a lot of fun to the day.

To quote Robin: "This post needs a Love button!"

That's a wondrous, life-altering attitude.

Not quite as foreign as when learning about vaping!! LOLOLOL

Pattern on the side effects have been a week. By next Thursday they will been have pretty much all gone.

I know that can change but I'm really pushing fluids during the 7 days post chemo. Anything to help it cycle through faster. Exercise also helps.

I'm truly working hard at getting through this with the discomfort level at mid to low range.

The guy in a chair across from me had such a negative outlook. That can't be good for his ultimate outcome. I tried to counter his negativity with positive spins. He even called himself a pessimist. Hard to listen to. Thank goodness he was only there for a couple of hours. Felt sorry for him. :(

Good news! Keep up the good work and we will keep praying too. It's sad that guy was so negative. I think you're right that it doesn't help with healing. It takes no effort to be a pessimist. To be optimistic takes some hard core courage.

Recently a guy was open carrying in a McDonald's (or some chain restaurant) and another man took his gun from the holster and robbed the place.
Also a risk of it just being stolen.
My gun is to protect me and my loved ones. I'm not going to stop a crime that doesn't threaten my life.
And I hope your symptoms are minimal this week.

Generally speaking it's more about having a gun that is easy to get to if it's ever needed. Sometimes, it's about keeping your weapon out of the rain, for instance. There are many reasons concealed can be either handier, or just better than open carry.

In some dangerous situations you don't want to be the first person shot because they know your carrying - and the bad guys always carry concealed so you don't know, for instance, that the bank is about to be robbed. You only know when it IS BEING robbed. Also there can be a risk of having your gun stolen..

So having a gun in some easy to reach spot, on your thigh under your skirt, or in your purse, or even heck under your coat in the winter time (otherwise your exposing your firearm to the elements) is just a good idea, all the way around.

Perfect explanations. Thanks!! I now have a better understanding. :)

The hair loss (since you said it's still pretty minimal) could also be just a seasonal shed.
Also 150 shed hairs a day is within the 'normal' range.

I'm not counting. :p

The reason that I'm more inclined to think it is the chemo is because when I detangled just now with my fingers, 8 came out in a grouping. This one I counted. No, it didn't pull from my head.

It is what it is and only temporary. ;) I'm certainly not going to stress over it.

During this treatment, I'm not stressing my hair by using heat on it. Just naturally let it dry after using a pick to get through the wildness. Finger comb it into some sort of submission  And no chemicals on it to tame it.

It doesn't happen consistently so I've not noticed any thinness overall.
