I love your builds Tom, and the picturs are amazingly clear....I still have so much to learn on building...
You and me both brother. I'm trying 36g over fraliens now.
I practiced 36g alien over 24g for a while...thought I had it. Failed.
Now I'm relearning alien with 36g.
I think I was too close to the core at 3" and stretching the decore too much.

Next time I just barely stretched it and held it 6" from the core. Ran wide open and covered 6" before I ran out.
I've used alot of 36 today...hopefully I'll have it in a hundred feet or so.

@Joergl100
I put the tutorial in the coil porn thread.

I just didn't feel like it belonged here.

The resulting coil does though.

8ply 0.4mm staple, 36g wrap. 3mm on the Griffin 25. My first successful staple with no frames. Very hard to coil but it's worth it.
I'm not using any more power than with my go-to build for the Griffin (22/34 or 36) but it's better in every aspect...even ramp up.

You can really see how the juice wicks through everything.

Kotex U. =)
Better Rayon than Cellucotton.

If anyone wants to try rayon for the first time, I'd recommend Cellucotton though. It's got a taste that's very hard to get rid of and it's harder to work with. It has finer strands though and I've run out of Cellucotton.

Thank you! I still have a lot to learn too. Particularly in staggering. Its my least favorite thing to do but they vape so damn well.

I won't compliment myself much on builds, I'm a really harsh self critic but I need to be if I want more consistent & clean results.

Yes staggers at times can be frustrating as hell, I'm trying to put a build together at the mo but I don't seem to have that magic working with me atm it feels like I'm throwing more wire at the bin than with any other build I've done.
I think it might be that I'm not doing builds as often now because I don't remember the following builds being this much hard work.
