I used the way back machine. 1st try yielded nothing. Second try got me to a graph that noted mentions. On that graph, there were 'sightings' of the text. Just kept playing till I found that one. :D

Yes, I'm patting myself on the back. :p I normally am NOT good at sleuthing.

I deplore the tactics of the anti smoking war but I deplore the same with the drug war. But I also regret that there are cigarettes, drugs or even alcohol. To prove what a prude I am I'd love to be in a place where nobody is interested in those (I don't drink either). They wouldn't be banned, there would just be no interest. It would be a different world. May be there's a way to extinguish interest in smoking without harsh measures. Where can I get some tobacco cigarettes with no nicotine. (Then I need a volunteer smoker to try them since I don't smoke any more.)

Good deal! Now there is no need for my 'alternate source' ;) Think that my failure to find it there is due to my older browser not playing well with some https sites. Run Linux and can not upgrade my browser any further until I get off my lazy bum and upgrade my OS:rolleyes:

Oh, every one snag a local copy ASAP as things can be removed from any public site including the Way Back Machine.

I have transferred mine into a word document now... 74 pages of ranty goodness. I really wish the husband wasn't so stingy about his printer, he's always telling me not to print things, but I can't exactly fall asleep with my computer in bed and expect anything *good* to happen, and this looks like it will make some great bedtime reading. Maybe I will print it out a few pages at a time, LOL.

Thanks Robino1, that's awesome, great sleuthing and thank you again. :)

I just think it would be a waste of time because i do not believe it's the nicotine that is so addictive in cigs. It's the other stuff. What that is who knows, but i know when i quit smoking and started vaping i was vaping high nic, yet i still was craving stuff that i could only get from a cig. Vaping nic was not enough. Plus i still question if nic is even addictive. I remember seeing a study where they put nonsmokers on patches for like 6 months, when they took it away none of the participants reported any withdrawal symptoms. Vapers report all the time that they can go for long periods of time without vaping and be just fine. Is it addictive or not? i don't know but i do know i was craving something when i quit smoking, and it wasn't nic because i was getting that through vaping. So reducing nic in cigs in my opinion is a waste of time unless you address the other stuff in cigs as well that is addictive.
