NOT to Follow "Doc's" GOAL - to try and use less "Sarcasm" when pointing out people's mistakes or errors . . .

HEY - I make mistakes all the time and I would without a doubt would not be able to point that out "Sarcastically" to "Myself" then . . .

AND - Where is the "FUN" in that . . . ;)

Thank you for yet another great contest Mike.

-- Over the last year I had to deal with a false alarm possible Leukemia scare that got drug out over almost 3 months, then following that, being told that both of my knees needed to be worked on, then put on a CPAP.

One of the main things I want to get accomplished this year is to get my .... back into a gym, after being put on the CPAP I actually have the majority of my energy back which up until being prescribed the machine I hadn't realized just how much my energy levels had plummeted. Was kind of a reality check in addition to everything else having three kids whom I would like to be around to see grow up and have little holy terrors of their own that I can spoil with noisy toys and candy ;).

Beyond that I want to just spend as much time with my son as I can this year, just me and him doing guy stuff.

#1. Help people find vaping.

I am so very lucky. I found out about vaping almost by accident. I had just been diagnosed with emphysema and a host of other medical problems that are just too numerous and boring to go into. Point is, I could not breathe. I could only sit in this chair and gasp for every breath. I knew in my heart that I probably did not have two years left to live. I had tried everything to quit smoking and was just not able to do it. I had spent a fortune on patches, drugs, etc and nothing at all worked. I had actually resigned myself to die quietly. I gave up.

Then I was sitting here and saw an advertisement for an ecig. I thought, "Oh yeah, right. Here is the hype again." I read about it anyway and decided, what the heck. They talked about having the disposable ones at the store and I thought, oh well, I am dying anyway. What would it hurt to try. So, I wrote it all down and asked my husband to go find me one. I am disabled and cannot get out. I go out only to go to the doctor and it is such a trial. He went and found it and brought me two. While I was puffing on the first one, I was on the internet ordering more. A week later I found ecf and shortly after some wonderful people guided me, found my first really good kit. That was nearly two years ago. I have not had a pack of cigarettes since my husband bought me the first disposable. I have had a cig here and there just because I thought I wanted one, but after a couple of puffs, realized that is not what I wanted at all. It has now been over a year since I smoked a cigarette or even tasted one and I do not want them any longer, even when people smoke in front of me. The smoke just makes me feel ill.

This process has been not only painless, but gratifying and joyous. I have made so many wonderful friends here and guess what?

I do not have emphysema any longer.

I was checked again a few months ago and my doctor was quite astonished because she said...... "hmmm, that is most strange, but it appears the emphysema has disappeared." I asked her if this happens very often and she said never to her knowledge. She wanted to know what I had done and I told her about the vaping. She said for me to keep it up because it was certainly working. I do not have any idea how this all happened, only that it is because of vaping and not smoking. I can breathe again and I do not cough.... I should say, rarely do I cough. I still have bronchitis and occasionally have a bout but nothing seriously dangerous like before when the doctors said if I got pneumonia again, it would kill me.

I am alive and it is because of vaping. I want to tell everyone I know about this and I try to do that. :)

Thank you for the contest!

#2. Meditate

I need to get back into my meditation. It always brought me such joy and calm.

This is one of my renewed commitments as well. I'm am an avid meditator and as of late I've been so busy with the launching of my new company i've found myself putting my practice to the side. So I have recommitted my self to my morning and night practices.
