Help Imeo,Urgent request? LOL,i need High voltage atties for testing with AFS......
Iv'e been reading allot but have not posted much as you can see. It mist seem a bit much but I want my first e cig to be an HV Pv. I hear 6v mods are the best vap. I ahve been just looking for the best bang, quality for the buck. I notice that some have 10 diff mods and may have bottomless pockets. For my understanding... GGT is 3.7 & 6v with cr2 batts. the GG slim which looks awesome is not 6v? another question: Another manufacture claims HV PV @ 6v burns up attys quick and that rn4081's are the most robust and last the longest, is this true and and is there an rn4081 adapter for the GGT, or slim n anyone hav a prob with burning attys. im just trying to get informed.
I sit a must to have HV juice? thanks everyone.
Since Imeo is not online right now, I'll try to help you out if I can. Imeo will surely chime in later (and correct any mis-statements I may make).
The GG-T does everything. It does what no other hot-rod can. It can use most every popular battery type, conform to 3 different sizes, and vape at 3.7 and 6v without needing to buy anything except the device (one device) and batteries.
Here are some images I took that show every size of the GG-T and also the GG-Slim: http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/gg/46086-photos-my-gg-slim-lotsa-pics.html
As you see it goes from tiny GG-Nano size, to slightly larger Grant size, to the largest "Giant" size. At 6v you need to use 2 RCR123a batts.
The Slim on the other hand is right now the smallest and slimmest hot-rod available, and it is 3.7-only.
As far as 6v burning through attys... sure, they CAN, but not always. It is hard to tell when yours pops if it did so because you ran it at 6v, or it was going to die regardless. I have popped 4 IN A ROW once, but none were brand new either. For the record the ONLY times I have popped an atty has been on my Silver Bullet. Never on any GG, Prodigy, Protege, VAPRE51, Jantystick or any others I have owned. I highly doubt it was the fault of the SB though.
Much like your Johnson, keeping your atty WET is keeping your atty HAPPY.
For some e-liquid flavors I prefer 3.7v, but for most I prefer 6v vaping. Early am and late at night I go to 3.7, but through the day I require 6v to satisfy me.
I prefer and only vape on 510 atomizers myself because I want max throat hit, max flavor and max vapor production. A 901 lacks 2 of the three and the 901 lacks throat hit (it has it, but not as much). This is wholly dependent upon your personal taste honestly. Some feel the 510 makes the flavor harsher because it gets hotter... personal preferences here.
I own, or have owned most of the popular hot rods, and can say with complete honesty that most perform about the same. The differences that make someone prefer on over the other typically boil down to:
Feel/quality/location of switch
Aesthetics
Price
Ease of use
Aside from those things ALL of these crazy PVs are simply battery holders. IMHO the two that stand apart the most are:
Prodigy because it is the only one that vapes at 5v
GG-T because it breaks down to 3 different types of PV
IMHO the GG-T might be the best around purely because of the transformability (I don't care if that's not a real word dammit). The GG-Telescopic takes it a step further, but unless you are either an engineer, or have a whole Summer to set aside and read the diagrams and instructions... it might be a bit too complex to use![]()
My daughters started off with the transformer as their first PV. I wish I had. I would have saved a lot of money. We all use 6V, The best part is that you just have it all right from the start.Iv'e been reading allot but have not posted much as you can see. Noted, voted, and motion carried.next it will be telescopicable or telescopicability.... lol...
