I tried to take pics of mine, but it didn't come out good enough, I'll try again tomorow with a different cam.

So, no burning or scorching? When you finished it, how did you know, did you get any kind of burnt taste at all, or it just didn't produce vapor? I too have experienced this with KR808 cartos, and why I constantly keep them topped off.

Ok, think I'll have to test mine and vape one dry, then take it apart. Guess I'll vap the taboo dry, it's my least favorite. Seriously, it's like vaping over buttered pop corn.

i switched to an 808 because of the cartomizers. after about 6 months of not touching my 510, i am tired of the 808 cartoz. the lack of vapor and inconsistency of cartomizers (some last a month, while others are DOA) drives me bonkers!

i just switched back to my 510 (after ordering a tornado from TW), and immediately fell back in love. reminds me why I began vaping in the first place. with that, came the agony of the cartidges. i am soo stoked 510 cartoz are available, and can hardly wait for mine to arrive!

thank you so much for the info!

As long as the cap and inner tube are not connected, I'll have to get some. I prefer to use a T-Tip or a trimmed 901 cart on my carto's. It's much easier to top them off then prying that cap off every time. It will be nice not having to use the adapter to run carto's.

The cap and the inner tube are NOT connected in the ones I got. I have the Super T Tips and they fit perfectly, although I'd clean off the glue before using them.

Ok, first things first. These 510 cartomizers simply ROCK!!! These have THE best combination of flavor, throat hit, and vapor, PERIOD!! I'll keep and sometimes use my atties, but these are my default vape from now on.

My take on the 4 flavors:

Original Tobacco: Best of the 4, very nice, very nice. Like a Marlboro Red.

Cool Rush Menthol: Do you like Newports? Near identical.

Flue Cured: Also very nice, Marlboro Light.

Taboo: Ok, NOT my favorite, it's like vaping butter, seriously, a stick of butter. It's do-able, but only becuause I can tollerate butter.

So I've posted and raved all about these cartos. I was about to update my post on my test and got an PM asking if the $7.50 was for 1 or 5. HUH?

It was $10 lastnight, WTF is he talking about? So I look and sure enough, $7.50. This is great customer service, but come on, you against a little profit?! $2 ea for these cartos is CHEAP!!

So my test. The OP got his from LiteCig, and they must be different because I guess the "straw" (I dunno what to call it) is attached to the cap, and the filler fills the carto. The ones from LiquidXpress have the filler and straw up about 2/3rd the way. The question came up about burning like with the 808 cartos, so I decided to test it. I've been vaping on a taboo one since last night and it's still going. When I finally vape it dry, I'll take it apart and see what if anything got burned.

Oh, these can be re-filled, and you can use tips on them, but the cap IS glued in. :(

Tonight is a special at LiquidXpress from 7pm untill midnight, $7.50 for packs of 5. Get them NOW!

Question for you fine folks. What is the condom method of filling cartomizers? I've never used a cartomizer before and would like to try one out.

Thanks!

Here ya go: YouTube - A Great Way To Fill Cartomizers

I use this method to fill my 510 cartomizers, but I put the mouth piece in first. When I see the juice about to bubble out of the battery end, I stop. Works like a dream!

Thank you, neighbor, for your illuminating review and photos!

A secondary reason for my post (and the reason I quoted the above photo) is to ask you about that mod in the picture. What is it, where did you get it, and how do you like it? [Since this is off-topic, don't hesitate to PM me if you don't want to clutter this thread with commentary about a mod.]

Thanks again for the review ... and for launching a thread which has included other informative posts!

Don
