How long did you leave the battery in the USB charger after the first time you plugged it in?
Some chargers(I have a few) will filcker back and forth between the charge/discharge colours for no apparent reason. Doesn't necessarily mean they're not workin properly.
If your original reason for plugging it in to the charger was because it arrived discharged, then plug it back in and leave it in until the light turns a steady green.

What's happening is that the circuit in the charger is polling the overall charge on the battery. It flips back and forth because the charge fluctuates up and down as it's charging. Once it's fully charged the light should stay green 100% of the time. It's usually just a little flicker between them. It's red for a few seconds and then just flashes green for a moment before going back to red. That being said, I have seen this same sort of behavior from a battery that was nearing full charge.
I'd be more concerned about the fact that it doesn't fire up when it's screwed into your atomizer. Even if it has a 1/4 charge, it should still fire the atomizer.
I assume you're using a manual battery? Sometimes the little switch needs to be rockered forward or back just a bit to make it turn on the first few times. They start out a little stiff. You might try that.
But yeah, I'd leave it on the charger for two hours and try again. It may just not have a good enough charge on it yet to work correctly. Failing that, SleepHater will replace it with one that works. No question.

I received my order today and plugged in the battery to the usb.
The usb light is going from green to red, back and forth non stop.
The battery is DOA out of the box.
The green light stays on longer than the red but goes back and forth.
What now? help.. Deb

I am really sorry about your battery. I think the charger is probably OK, most of these >90% cycle through red green at the end of the charging cycle - I have been told this is a "trickle charge" phase.
Regardless, to answer your question: What now?
We are shipping you 2 new batteries and charger. Today, Priority Mail. We are very sorry that you battery does not work. We test these prior to shipping but cannot really put every battery through a "full test" meaning that we do not assemble it with an atomizer and give it a good vape, we would spend our entire day sitting around vaping rather then packing and shipping orders.
Please know also that we are at the mercy of the manufacturers, we wish that these were perfect devices that never failed or broke. Unfortunately that is not the case. That is why we have the best warranty we can offer.
Same say shipping of a replacement part (and in your case an extra battery as well) by Priority Mail at our expense.

I know that Mark already responded to via email but I again want to publicly apologize for the defective battery. Believe me we wish that we could be %100 sure that every device we sold would function perfectly (or even just function) we just cannot make that assumption. These are mass produced ans on general are a very good product that is well priced and a good over all value.
Both batteries being sent to you today are being tested, we will actually throw an atomizer on them and have at it. So is the additional charger, although my thinking is your charger is fine as the ones that fail just glow green and never turn red.
So I think you will have 2 good batteries and 2 good chargers for the price (already discounted price) of one battery and one charger.
I hope that makes you feel better. I know it is disappointing to get a product and have it not work but I hope our solution at least makes you feel like innovapor cares about your business and will do everything we can to back the product.

One trick might to be really depress the rubber button on the manual battery. I mean, make sure it is fully depressed. You wont need to draw on the device, just push the button down and see if the Blue LED light up. If will not, even with the button fully depressed then it is certainly totally worthless.
Nevermind Moonlighter, I got confused because this is the 510 intro kit thread but you have an EVO intro kit. So pushing the button will not work as there is NO button, so in retrospect that is not very useful advice.
Any 510 orders placed today will not ship until Friday or Saturday this week.

True, True. We will at least get it to the post office on Saturday. It is not a day of at innovapor!
In the comments box during check out just request a different strength of liquid and we will accomadate.
And yes, any kit that comes with a USB charger add an additional charger. Even our Ultimate kits which come standard with 2 will ship with 3 USB chargers. I use a USB splitter fro Griffin and I personally like have a an exta couple chargers around. With the splitter, 1 port charges 2 battereies on a nice short flexible cable, that way I always have 2 fully charged bats to head out the door with.

It is at the bottom left hand side of the page as the "Grand Opening Special" EVO intro kit for $35. I cannot do it for $25 as the EVO parts are just more expensive, but keep in mind that battery can be recharged 600 times versus 200 for the 510 batterey and the EVO atomizers... well... those suckers just keep going and going and going...
What I am doing is offering free shipping (USPS Priority with email conformation/tracking) So that means it is really $35 to your door.

I've been watching this with some interest, any word on the oiler bottles yet?
And are you still in need of any beta testers?
I have this thing on it's way to me, but it is 2oz and I'm not sure that is what I want.

SleepHater is sending me and a few others some beta test bottles next week. Once we get our feedback to him, he'll decide which one works best and make a bulk order. I suspect we're still a couple weeks away (at least) from seeing them on InnoVapor, but SleepHater can probably provide better info on that than I can.
