The 510 is good when it works, however its not perfect

batteries - The std ones last 30 -45 min
- The autos are simply rubbish
- The megas 1.5 - 2 hrs

Battery life span
Autos 1 - 2 month
Manuals are much better now last 2 months at least

atties IMHO have got worse. Im lucky to get 24 days out of them just now

If you are just starting out I would not recomend a 510. I have been using the 510 since june but I am so glad it was not my first!

I hated my first ecig and am still waiting for my money back. My Joye510 has made me so happy that I keep buying batteries and atomizers LOL The battery life can be frustrating, but I have like almost 8 batteries now. Plus 2 wall chargers, usb and personal carry case. I also love my Vapor4life Vapor Kings, and all those batteries, chargers and 2 go case. Maybe you got a bum joye510? I would let you come puff mine if I could On a full charge and juice clouds of vape. Are you taking slow hits? I found I was hitting mine like a mad woman and like flooding it. Also I was getting some of the filter stuffing stuff stuck in it. Which resulted in yanking out some stuff I believe belongs in the atomizers ugh with tweezers. I then watched a video on how to blow out my atomizer and put it in warm not boiling, but hot water. It is working like new now. I was getting horrible hits for like a day and thought I for sure ruined my auti. Them youtube vids n this forum sure helped me a lot. I dunno maybe my rambles will help. I am a semi noob still with mine Perhaps you need a big bad vap machine that I hear so much about on here. Drooling to try some of these mod's for my 510, but haven't got a clue what to buy yet? LOL vaping so fun, experimental and getting expensive! Such pretty shiney colors and flavors. I hope you find something you like hun.

I've tried a few types myself looking for what suits me...

ePuffer Super Minis = attys, bats, and usb chargers die too early.

Smoking Everywhere versions 1, 2, and 3 gold = attys and chargers are ok, but the bats die too early, not to mention I was getting ripped off price wise.

510's = are pretty darn good overall, I go through 2 bats and 3 fully filled carts on work days. I like the throat hit they give and the vapor cloud is awesome. They satisfy me, but still I wonder if there's something better.

KR808 = charger doesn't fully recharge the bats, but the bats do last a little longer than 510's even on a weaker charge. Don't like the cartomizers, but they're easy to hollow out and just drip vape on them. Throat hit is weaker than a 510. I also hate they've started putting 5 second cut off timers on the MANUAL bats... that sucks!... but it's probably why the battery lasts a little longer.

510 mod = yep, I went modding. 510 attys are top dog in my book. They are a power hog, but I LOVE vaping with POWER! They're easy to maintain and fun to mod with. I've stepped up my voltage a bit and stepped into a throat hit bliss. I only use the portable 510 manual bats when I'm away from the house, otherwise I have a homemade passthru power supply on my desk. What do you do with junk cell phone and computer hardware?... build e-cig mods, of course.

Sooo... since I've went back to a 510, I'd have to say that's where I'm staying. I can't seem to go wrong with a 510. They're pretty strong and hold up to my geeky abuse... LOL.

I know the "claw" feeling all too well. Ever see someone do ....... and scramble for more a short while later? I think it might feel like that. Pure fight/flight panic. There isn't enough nicotine/vapor to make it go away.

I'm not saying that you aren't having any withdraw issues, or that its all in your head ,or that its your 510 components. I just agreeing with mcl5000 that many people have great results with the 510 model, myself included. I have all kinds of PV's, even a 6 volt mod, and although I can't stop buy different product I always go back to my Genuine JOYE TECH 510 from TOTALLY WICKED. I will say that their original 180 mAh batteries SUCK because you have to recharge all the time. Thats why they came out with the MEGA batteries(280 mAh) and the 510 PCC. Now they're coming out with a PCC for the MEGA batteries and they(JOYE) designed the TW TORNADO/JANTY EGO batteries they just released around the 510 atomizer. The TORNADO/EGO is a 650mAh battery but they DID NOT change the nominal voltage. I called and spoke to Lori at TOTALLY WICKED USA and she informed me that its running at 3.7 volt. JOYE TECH confirmed it was a 3.7 volt device. That says to me that 3.7 volts is the best for that atomizer, I mean its been through 3 officially released batteries and it hasn't changed. Now they have a MEGA ATOMIZER and MEGA CART, they are exactly the same except a larger barrel to hold more E-Liquid. The only issue they haven't officially addressed is cartridge poly-fill. I personally use the blue foam mod. A full pack from PETCO cost $8, tops. That will easily last 6 months and thats being wasteful. So next week, when I call Lori at TW USA and ask her to overnight me a bunch of TORNADO BATTERIES and ACCESSORIES and a bunch of MEGA ATOMIZERS and CARTS I'll be set. I'd never have to buy another PV until that one breaks. Thats not gonna happen, I'm just saying that for me it's the perfect set up. A few days ago I ordered 10 more 30ml bottles of E-Liquid and a v8 model. If I find the v8 to be better I PM you.

I just got my 2nd Titan Mega 510 from Totally Wicked yesterday. Once again, its an awesome vape device. I guess I'm just lucky? I vape TV's "Atomic Fireball" mostly and I get great taste, vapor production and throat hit with my 510's......I am totally satisfied and I was a hard core smoker for 35 years (pack and a half a day at least).

I don't like the 510 batteries, so went with a nicostick mod. Cheap and effective.

Yeah, the batts suck but Ive got enough of em and 2 5 batt charges so Im good. I just change them alot is all. Im waiting for the perfect mod to get...I was thinking about the chameleon?? It seem to be great but someone said that the button has an issue? It was the first I'd heard of that but anyone with personal experience with that mod, I would be interested to hear about what they think of it. Id love to have the all the great things I get with my 510 and have batts that last all day!!

Have you looked at the eGo/Tornado? Basic 510 performance.... over double the battery life of the Mega. Good looks. Might be the ticket for you.

i friggin love my 510. i love the manual battery. my favourite of the three devices i have. dont plan on getting a new toy anytime soon. even with 18mg liquid i get a good hit and pretty good vapor. i cant wait to get my 36mg.

HAHA .. Is that Guy a Idiot ? he used High Voltage Drew Juice in his 510 ?? That stuff is 12mg and is Made for 5Volt+ Devices because its thicker as well ..

Well....

Both of the 510 standard manual batteries that he sent me were on the "marginal" side of loaded voltage delivery. They were both in the 2.9V range. Not unusable... but certainly "down" from where we'd like them to be.

Of the two atties that he sent me... one was completely dead with an open coil. Both of them had a tremendous amount of loose polyfill in them. I was able to clean the atty that still had an intact coil.. and bring it back to life. After that it vaped "OK".

I sent him back his batteries, his "repaired" atty, another "known good" atty of mine, some "known good" liquid, a "known good" 901 cartridge with good filler, and some PTB for him to play with.

That should have got him going in the right direction.....

Sorry I just can't agree. My 510 produces massive vapor, throat hit, and delicious flavor. However it is the only PV I have. However, I am waiting on my 901 and 801 adapters and atomizers to arrive from my last order. Maybe after that I could agree. I think the only reason you will get flamed is by calling it pathetic. Different people prefer different things. Otherwise there would only be one cigarette brand, one beer brand, one fast food company etc.

so you got the 901 and 801 to use on your 510? im new, still trying to figure this stuff out.

My 510 is great but I find it's excellent with an adapter and kr808d-1 cartomizers.
