(Deliberately provocative subject line... O-: )

Curiosity has finally overcome about higher voltage, and I finally put in an order for a 5V pass-through from madvapes (and a higher amperage USB adapter from elsewhere). I decided to hold off on a box mod, figuring the PT would be a cheaper experiment. Just so my first experience is the best it can be, I'm curious about people's opinions as to what would be the best/worst flavors for my first test. I've heard that higher-voltage makes some flavors pop and wrecks others. If it helps, I vape 100% PG, and lately have a fairly wide variety of available flavors. Your ideas?

Paul,

I got mine last week and the vapor is GOD-LIKE!! Sadly though, it completely nullifies the the flavor in the juices I vape- all dessert type flavors from KBV- KIckBassVapor.

I bought a 3.7 box mod off the classifieds here and liked that much better with a LR atty. But I've read in other threads that the 5v does kill dessert flavors but boosts a lot of others, like the coffees and the tobaccos.

To update and add a question. My PT arrived and I've been using it some in the car. I can't say as I'm noticing any great change in flavors or vapor delivery. I bought an upgrade in my 12V to USB adapter (the one I'd used for charging batters was .500A), but the one I happened to grab was just a 1 Amp. As a result, am I experiencing less than what I might expect? Or, since it's working at all, am I getting all the current it needs? (It's not dimming my headlights or lowering the volume on the radio when I hit the button.)
