I can't give any advice to the technique. But I will commend you on your English. No need to apologize for it. You write better than most native English speakers.Hi there, I am new to this board but have read this thread since very beginning. Now I have Target tank for more than two weeks and hope you will found interesting my experience with cleaning CCell coils.
First of all: Dark e-liquids kill CCell's much faster than transparent ones. Sad thing is best (in my opinion) e-liquids are dark because of natural flavourings. I think this happens because the particle size of the natural flavors bigger than the artificial. I love Nicoticket liquids, and they perform very well on Vaporesso Taret,
but unfortunately coils become dark as night and loses flavour in just a few days.
So i tried to use old technique that works fine with mesh wicks in Genesis atty's: 30% Hydrogene peroxide bath, you can find it in aquarium shops.
quote from wikipedia:
Hydrogen peroxide is a chemical compound with the formula H2O2. In its pure form, it is a colourless liquid, slightly more viscous than water; however, for safety reasons it is normally used as an aqueous solution. Hydrogen peroxide is often described as being "water but with one more oxygen atom", a description that can give the incorrect impression of significant chemical similarity between the two compounds. While they have a similar melting point and appearance, pure hydrogen peroxide will explode if heated to boiling, will cause serious contact burns to the skin and can set materials alight on contact. For these reasons it is usually handled as a dilute solution (household grades are typically 3–6% in the U.S. and somewhat higher in Europe). Its chemistry is dominated by the nature of its unstable peroxide bond.
It works really well cleaning ceramic coils, but u need to be very careful with timing. First attempt was 24 hours bath in 30%HP, just coils "as is", no disassembling. After 24 hours ceramics became much whiter, almost clean. I pulled them out and put into boiling water for 15 minutes and left to dry for 2 days. After cleaning coils performs very well, maybe 1 day less than new ones.
Second attempt was 48 hours bath, and few ours before 48 i felt chemical smell and sizzle coming from the small glass with coils in HP. glass became warm and I'm immediately put it under running water. What I've found after boiling this coils - Hydrogene peroxyde annihilate all the cotton inside the coils! It just disappeared. Completely. Ceramics itself became pure white, just as a new coil! So I was able to rebuild it easilly with a japanese cotton.
I'm going to continue cleaning this coils again and again to understand how long they can really last.
P.S. I have very basic knowledge of chemistry, if someone here are experienced - please share you thoughts about aspects of health safety dealing with Hydrogene Peroxide.
P.P.S. I apologize for my English, since it is not my native language
I am more impressed he has read all the posts..I can't give any advice to the technique. But I will commend you on your English. No need to apologize for it. You write better than most native English speakers.
Hey Sinterheads! Heaven Gifts now has the kanthal cCells in stock! I just ordered me some. They still show as preorder on the website, but I ordered them because I wanted to take advantage of the 15% off sale and the $10 gift code I had. My order showed as having shipped within hours of placement, so I contacted them to see if that was correct and just got confirmation that they did just receive a shipment. Yay!
The nickle cCells are also in stock but they already showed up as in stock.
Since I have decided NOT to get the mod, do you guys suggest I specifically get the tank and coils if I want to try this, or just the coils and any compatible tank? (In other words, anything special about the tank or just the coils)
Also REALLY wish there was more information available about this supposed coil problem
Looks like there is a SS cCell coil now
It makes a difference because they can say "one-of-a-kind gold plated."They may have just decided to no longer gold plate them. The gold kanthal cCell that I've been using has started showing a bit of wear and tear over the past 2-3 weeks and it appears that some of the plating has begun to wear off on the bottom side where the contact pin is. I'm not sure that there is really any benefit to completely plating the entire cCell anyway. The only bit that would even make any minor difference would be to plate the bottom where it makes contact with the positive pin in the mod (and even then the gold plating would need to continue through until it made contact with the coil leads), also the ground path must be considered and for optimal conductivity should be gold plated as well.

I think it´s SS wire...
"heavengiftscom Trying out the new SS ceramic coils by Vaporesso! They work flawlessly!"
"Vaporesso is about to release two new ceramic coils: 0.5 and 0.8 ohms SS316! More awesohm flavor at high wattage. Coming soon"
You have to admit though, the gold looks preety cool showing through those massive juice holes on the Target tank.

I prefer a much larger tank and don't see the need to waste money on their 3.5ml.
I agree about the size of the Target tank. The capacity is low compared to what seems to be becoming the standard.
Just purchased this unit yesterday and having the same screen glitch issue here. Both times it was when the battery was below half, so I'm testing it on fully charged batteries now.
First time I noticed it right away. Seemed to be displaying the battery life (as if it were charging but it was not at the time) and other info over laying it, and 1/4 of the screen was pixels.
Second time it happened when I was at work. Not sure how long it was doing this, but when I picked it up to go outside for a vape, it felt hot and that's when I looked at the screen and saw it was glitching again (this time half pixilated).
A pixilated screen that is corrected by removing/replacing the battery is a nuisance.. but when it got hot, that scared me a bit. Going to have to watch it closely and see if they will do anything to fix/replace it.
I've emailed Vaporesso and awaiting a reply. Read lots of others with the same issue. Hope this was just a bad batch, because I love the mod lol Will update when they reply.
Yep. Those are Atlantis compatible...I had planned on using the cCell coils in the Furytank...5ml. and Top-filling...
But...the original Furytank has been replaced by the Furytank V2.
Is it reasonable to expect that the V2 will also accept the cCell coils???
