After loosing track of which carto's I liked over the year I decided to try 8 different ones in my Reo Mini and keep track of various

stats. Now that the two month project is complete I will list my findings below. This is my first review so bear with me. :)

All of the cartomizers were tested under these conditions.
  • Cartos on Reo Mini w/ AW IMR 14500 3.7v.
  • alien Visions Gorilla juice 6mg 100% VG.
  • Filled w/ 5ml Syringe from C.C.V.
  • Regular Clear Arcylic 510 Drip Tip.

A little definition of each part.
  • Fill: How much juice the carto held before it began to leak out the threaded end and how quick it absorbed with the syringe

    filling.
  • Draw: How easy the pull on the carto is. Light is easy, Medium is tighter.
  • Flavor: How well the flavor came out in each carto comparative to a usual atty taste.
  • Sound: How much sound the carto made in operation.
  • Feed: How well each carto worked with the bottom feed of the Reo Mini and if any juice came up the drip tip.
  • Last: Longevity before each carto clogged up or developed a bad flavor. Presented in days and ML consumption.
  • Marks: Markings on outer body and color of threads.
  • Temp: How hot carto got when chain vaping.
  • Vapor: Vapor production.
  • TH: Throat hit.
  • Notes: How long carto took to break in and how carto performed during its lifespan before clogging or developing bad flavor.
  • Like: Did I like the carto.

I used the Reo Mini as often as I could during this time but with other mods around I kept using others as well. Good reason I put up a day

and ML longevity to balance out useage.

During this whole process, the Reo Mini's catch cup remained completely dry.
When all is said and done I think the Boge 2.0 ohm on this setup is a great carto, followed by the 1.25 ohm dual coil and CCV's Resurrector. I still prefer an atty, but when I'm out and have to have my mod in my pocket, a carto is my better choice.

Hopefully this info has been helpful to someone. I'll keep updating this thread if someone has any questions or comments. Have fun folks.

This info is great!! Thanks for taking the time to evaluate all these cartos. I am contemplating getting a Reo mini soon, but haven't pulled the trigger yet. I have, though, used the Boge 2.0 and Resurrector 1.7 cartos, and like them as well as I can like any carto, I guess...(mine have tended to clog really quickly, even with 70pg/30vg juice). I am curious though about how the Reo feeds the vertical coiled cartos, though. Does the center air tube get clogged when you bottom-feed? Answer would be appreciated, as it will help in making my decision about getting a bottom-feeder. Thanks again for the great review.

Generally when you feed the carto some will go up the center tube and distribute around the top. It can get clogged early if you overfeed. I've been following advice to wait for vapor/flavor to diminish before squeezing more juice up into it. To feed good I've found a few dry pulls to pull the juice up helps a bunch.

Thanks for the explanation, lugnut! I guess it just kinda goes by "feel". I didn't think there was anyway to avoid having juice go up the center air tube, but I suspect that being able to "feed on demand" (rather than having to remove drip-tip and drip) would keep it wet enough to keep the juice from cooking and solidifying in the air-tube. Thanks again.

I too use Boge 2.0 and Resurrector 1.7 thrilled with both. Great review above. One thing, I get about 10 days from Boge, about 30 ml before its time to change, I do use 3x flavor juice, 50/50 mix. Using a Grand, good advice on Reo forum was to not over squonk and overfill carto, in beginning I was doing this and flooding all the time, when vapor goes down I give a little squonk, also after first filling I do not top off again, just feed from bottom. Hope this helps. Good Luck.

Awesome review.

My Reo mini has a Boge LR on top all the time these days. Great vape for on the go.

Pro Tip: Sometimes when I cant get a carto to take enough juice, I will put my undershirt over the drip tip and give it a few ultra squanks (while dragging with no power). Using the cloth shirt as a filter. This keeps the juice out of your mouth and gets juice all the way to the top.

Outstanding comparative review, lugnut! A great tribute to your just becoming a Veteran!

Like you (and others here), the Resurrector (aka 'ReJuvenator' from SmokTek) and the Boge 2.0 are among my favorites. [I slightly prefer the Resurrector/ReJuvenator.] I am surprised, however, that you only got mild TH from them. The Resurrector especially hits hard for me.

I also liked Ikenvape's 801 LR Stainless Fusion Carto, but I read someplace that it is just one of his 510 cartos with an 801 fitting ... so I felt silly using it with a 510-to-801 adapter.
