If you bite it and it squeaks does it make you feel like it's alive? :D

Duane

I thought you meant the cellucotton, so I tried chewing it. Can't get it to squeak. I think I could eat this stuff, although I probably wouldn't survive very long without some other nutrition.:(

Seems like it might be like swallowing a furball. Not that I have any personal experience with that.

Anyone tried this? The tutorial videos were entertaining.

If you can, can you get ramie fiber into the thread? It's another spinning fiber that's said to be "rot resistant and heat proof" as described from the source where I got mine.
Ramie Top - 8oz. (China Grass) | The Woolery

The stuff is is the most uniform as far as fibers going in the same direction. It feels silky, splits apart easily, and is a pain to work with when you first start. It has a difficult time staying put if you're doing some detailed wicking like in an rta. The heat proof aspect of it intrigues me.

Intensely scrutinizing your link right now. If this doesn't spec out as some reprocessed rayon/viscose nonsense, I'll place an order.

Damn, it's tough out here on the frontier, isn't it?
