Hello Neighbor! :)

Nice rig!

Hello. : ) thank you for the compliment. I usually go to a music meeting in Newport Beach on Friday nights and then play my compass rose ukulele at the Newport Vapor Room after that. I usually start playing at around 10pm at the Vapor Room if you are local. I just played until 1am the other night. Lots of musicians there. It's fun if you are local to the area.

WooHOOO...I did it! The button was a tad hard to push but a lot easier with all of your great input and suggestions. :D

I will soon be a Provari initiate....now to stalk the delivery man....be vewy vewy qwiet!!!!

You will be so glad you pushed that button and you will love it!

I am relatively new at vaping and I started out on the Blu system in February--that lasted about 1 week because the batteries would last about 10 minutes and I am busy so when the two I had died--I just picked up the cigs. Therefore I really did nothing but cut down by a few analogs each day. Eventually just went back to analogs full time.

At the end of May a friend that lives out of town from me--texted me out of the blue and told me she had quit smoking! I was amazed because she was as hard core as me--so immediately I picked up the phone and called to ask her how she did it. She said she had ordered some things online and that it totally worked for her.

I went online and began to explore options--got very confused so I googled for a B&M store in my town. Found one and went in the first of June. They were very helpful and recommended a Vision Spinner, an Ego pass through and T3 clearomizers for my start up. I purchased several liquids that day and liked them all. This was the set up that really worked for me. After the first week I was down to 3 analogs a day. After two weeks off them all together.

I made the decision that I would continue to vape rather than smoke and wanted a little better experience. By then I had found the forum and knew that there were many options out there. I went back to the B&M to look at a little higher end mod. They talked me into a Vamo3. It was ok but there were immediately some problems with it, threads etc. and that frustrated me.

Within one week of that purchase and after reading a lot about the Provari mini--I took the plunge and could not be any more satisfied! There is not one complaint--I use it with PT2 and find that the simplicity and the great vape is perfect for me.
I loved it so much that I did order another one in a different color...just because...

I still use the VS with a PT2 mini when out and about as a back up--but always have one of the Provari set ups with me as my go to!

Congrats on 'treating yourself' to the best out there!

good decision on choosing the Provari!! Keep an eye on your tracing #, cause the Provari starter kit comes in a fairly large box, that won't fit in most mail boxes. I camped out on my rear deck so that I wouldn't miss the delivery. lol

Since you purchased the starting kit, you'll be getting the Protank 2 with it. This is a good beginners tank, but before you juice it up, rinse it out well with hot water first. Then once you put the juice in, let the wick saturate with juice for 15 minutes. Failure to allow ample time for wick saturation on the pt will lead to flooding. Also don't over tighten the pt onto the Provari, this will shut off air flow, causing you to draw to hard and flooding the coil head.

5 months ago, I started out vaping with a cigalike device, found my self wanting more, went to an ego and a PT, was happy, but wanted more, something still missing. Was experiencing flooding issues with the protank, which lead me to this forum. Here is where I learned about VV devices. After an extensive search of VV devices, kept coming up with comparisons to something called the Provari. Looked at the price and said REALLY!!! No way I'm going to spend that much on an e-cig. But looked and looked and kept coming across reviews of devices that were good but always said, it works fine but it's no Provari. I finally did the math, what I paid so far for cigalikes and egos, and saw that I could of had a Provari!!!

I feel that the price in choosing a pvd shouldn't come into play when deciding what to get. No matter what's paid will be reimbursed by what you don't spend on tobacco products. The quality, build and elegance of this pvd is outstanding. When first held everyone is amazed by the engineering and design quality of the Provari.

Once you start vaping on the big P or the little p, would recommend to start your search for a quality rba. This is what really makes the Provari shine, and can realize it's full potential. My favorite, so far, is the Russian rba. am currently using the Volcanic Dragon Nano build on it, and it's putting my genesis I-ATTY to shame. Of course I haven't had time to dial in the genesis yet, have to do a new build. It came prebuilt with a .9ohm coil wrap that looks way to loose. And yes, the Provari will fire a .9ohm coil, cooks it real well at 2.9 volts. That's 9.34 watts, so thinking a tighter wrap with a 1-1.2ohm coil will give me a bit more flexibility.

Enjoy your Journey and let us know when the P arrives!

The State of Confusion
I don't have one yet, but it is the one I'm saving for, for this reason - 'they' say you get the same vape from the beginning of the battery to the end of the battery charge. No more losing the quality of the vape on my ego's as the battery wears down during the day!

This is so true!

I used mechs for 4 years and while they vape great at first they drain a battery much faster!

Regardless of battery configurations I use in my V3', I can change batteries two to three times a day with my V3' or Icon;.

With my Provari the vape is as good from beginning to end and a battery lasts me 2.5 - 3.0 days!

And I am a vaping feind!

Being an IT engineer, and having minors in electrical engineering and chemistry, Provape did a GREAT job...money well spent!

I also purchased the Z-Atty pro fro Provape with my VV, this is another topic, but it is the Rolls Royce of RBA'!

You will be vert happy with a Provari, regular or mini; if your a women, the Mini is perfect, but guys like them too, they vape just as good as the regular from what others say...

Best! :vapor:

I started with a 650mAh eGo kit, then Twists. When my 6 months tobacco-free approached I wanted something special. I never imagined I would quit smoking, so it was a big deal. I did research, looked around and bought a ProVari. I loved it so much I bought another one about 5 months later for my birthday. To celebrate 1 year without cigarettes I got a Reo. It's a different system than the ProVari and they complement each other nicely. I wuv my widdle tanks! ;)

LMAO @ Baditude...nice job on the Downfall spoof. Literally, I laughed at this even though I have seen downfall subtitled a few times, you did a great job with it. Spot on! :toast:

On another note...I feel a bit intimidated with RBAs (assuming Rebuildable Atomizers?)...will probably have to ease into that or at least understand what an RBA is a bit better. To me, Clearos are a far cry from vaping sticks. I kind of feel like Rip Van Winkle. I slept through most of the coolness and never built a mod in my life.

Some of us vape just fine without building things. Do you also feel intimidated for sleeping through the coolness of learning ribbon embroidery?
