I started with Mistic and Blu, but as most of us quickly learned, they just didn't cut it. I found ECF and the newbie recommendation at the time was Ego Twist. I got a couple of those and they worked much better for me.

I started listen to bad and other members here, and got into carto tanks, which are a bit top heavy on an Ego. I wanted something better and read the many recommendations for ProVari. My husband bought me one for Valentine's Day of this year. That made the difference for me. I was hooked on the whole vaping thing. I got the standard size, and all I used for awhile was 18650 battieries.

After about a month I got a ProVari mini, so I would have all the size options. For work I use the mini. I go for the bigger sizes for going out and at home. I have a growing collection of mechs, but I use my ProVaris the most.

I do not regret skipping the whole Vamo,Evic, and other Chinese mods faze. I was ready for something made in the US that just worked and didn't require me to fuss with it.

If I want fussy, I have RBAs I can mess with.

Hey there, Bassnorma! A resident of Richmond here. You going to VapeCon?

Oh, here are my Provarii. I just got this RSST, and I must say the second coil I built showed me why the fuss is made over RBAs. Kayfun Lite, here I come.

What kind of bases are those? They look cool.

Do you think the delivery guy will still drop it off if I answer the door like this?

He can't drop it off, you have to sign for it. To keep him from running away screaming, you might wish to consider an appropriate outfit. Just as vertical lines can make one appear thinner, a cheerful Hawaiian print tells the world you're friendly and fun!

They are fan sheave bushings. You can get them from Grainger. With all the bass talk, I thought you were having fun with me, then I realized which bases you meant!

I gave someone the link earlier...

I will get it. One moment.

I am on my Droid so it funnels me into the mobile site, but maybe the link will still work.

If not, here is the part #

QD Bushing, Series QT, Bore Dia. 1-1/8 Inch

Its 12 bucks...plus shipping, and it's heavy.

So, I am strongly leaning toward taking the Provari plunge.

I assume that most Provari owners vaped some other device first.

Would you tell me what made you buy one? And since you are now owners, what makes the Provari stand out in your mind as well worth the money?

I didn't read the other threads, because I don't need to. Heard it all before. The reason I went to a Provari is because I got tired of my China APV's, including the eVic, from breaking. I must have reliability, durability, quality, performance, and a great vape, every time, every day, and that means I had to get a Provari. In fact, I had to get two Provari's, one for home, and the mini for away. Only way to roll, imho, though, my Semovar is pretty sweet, but I would never leave the house with it. You simply cannot go wrong with a Provari, but look, I tried exactly 14 other APV's before I got the first Provari, so I tried them all, pretty much, and mechanicals, as well. Provari is my Go to, and my backup APV. Best to you!

I know the one us peek of and u r right it did not live. I'm was talking about a different mower encounter that ended better off Lol.

Ah, I see. I was looking for a picture of the first one.

Although fatally wounded by a Briggs & Stratton ride-on-mower, one much surely be impressed by the obvious fight it put up. 12.5HP may beat a ProVari in power, but not in courage and heart.

That's a great pic. Ever see the one with a spider living in it lol. Guy left his cap off overnight came back the next morning and tossed it together. Went to check his voltage an there was spider on the inside of his window.

That sounds very familiar!

Baditude, I love your posts. Always informative and fun to read. You're the reason I purchased a Provari and an IBTanked Cartotank. I'm ecstatic with both of them! When my buddies were skittish about dropping the dough on a Provari I pointed them out to your blog and next thing you know... three new additions to the family.

Congratulations on your purchase Bassnorma, I promise you won't regret it. The only thing I wish I had done with my initial purchase was to get the 18490 endcap extension with two batteries. Don't get me wrong the 18350's are fine, I personally needed more. I see you got a passthrough so it shouldn't be too much of an issue.
