big ditto ! ! !

Car Adapter

The Car Adapter can be used to charge a Vapor King battery (with the USB charger) or to power the Vapor King Passthrough. It is rated at 5V and 1000mA.

Fantastic Job Birdy!!!!:thumbs::thumbs::thumbs:.You might check with someone at v4l about the mah rating on the car charger. I pm'd Mark about my auto passthru not working ( manuel does) on my car charger. He indicated it was because of the lower mA rating of the car charger. Again Fantastic Job!!!. I will be using this everyone I know who getting ready to switch. Thanks!!

You should probably mention that the PT requires a powered USB port (rated at 1000 ma).
Some laptops either do not support this, or support this over 2 ports (so you cannot have a PT and charger in at same time) or only support this while plugged into the mains.
Also, it should probably be mentioned that you can get a) portable usb batteries to give you a walk around PT, and that you can get wall-socket USB converters (however most don't meet the 1000 ma requirement)
Also for refilling:

The white cap can be removed with a small gague crochet hook, a bent paperclip, a handle off a bulldog clip, or any similar tool. So long as it can fit into the breathing hole, and hook in. Apply steady pressure while rotating the cart, increasing the pressure until the plastic end cap pops out. Be careful not to pike the removal hook in too far, as you can accidentally hook the atomizer wire (with drastic results).

I got the specs for the car charger from the item description in the V4L store... but I'll check with Mark to make sure the info is correct. Thanks for the heads up :)

DaShiVa, I added some instructions for refilling and I'm going to look into updating the PT info - I've had some other additions suggested regarding the PT and I'm going to PM Mark to verify everything.

thanks!

I hate to throw a wrench in the beautiful job you've done. :(

The original shorty is 65mm, without carto.

I just measured a new shorty and it is 71mm, without carto.

I don't have any calipers so I "old schooled it" with a ruler.

Hey, it's no problem PawPaw- it's a photoshop file that I can edit pretty easily.
Can you do me a favor and put a carto on the Shorty and tell me how long the total length is? Old school with a ruler is fine by me :)

Very helpful, my order arrived and this answered all the questions I had on my chargers. Thanks!
Great! and thanks.
