First off, congrats on winning the Innokin Sensis :thumb:. I hope they send them out by the end of the month.

In a moment of weakness, I picked up another 500ml of nic when NN had their 40% off sale a few weeks ago. According to the vape apocalypse calculator, I've added another 4 years to my current stash of 375ml. As far as hardware goes, I'm probably done. I was going to pick up another Pico from FT, but didn't want to be hassled with their new PP policy.

Anyway, I do plan on quitting someday on my terms and it probably won't be this year. There are a few of us here who took to vaping to quit cigarettes. For me, that has mostly happened. So, now what? I get there are many more here on ECF who are now past the age of idgaf and are set. I think that's great. I'm 55 and would be chagrined if I were to take my last breath and say to myself "Thank God I stocked up".

Good on you brother and take cover. I hear the sharpening of pitchforks.

It may not be planning, but they may have to. If they have to pay more for incoming shipping they'll have to pass it on. As far as I'm concerned, the government is attempting to restrict the trade of legal goods, not that they didn't try to make them illegal. I'd say that some dems are in the pocket of the tobacco industry. Personally, I got a fairly large shipment on Saturday. Probably my last. If my supplier survives, I can pick up an order myself. They're probably in better shape than most. They had a good internet business and a brick and mortar. If not, i've been off analogs for over 11 years. Patches or gum should be enough.

Nah. That's just the sound of popcorn being consumed by those of us who are fully stocked.

Many of them will be in a position of either quitting or smoking. A lot of the vape stores didn't survive the lockdowns. As for the rest, the high prices due to shipping, then September's final PMTA Deeming may be the end. Some vape stores in the bigger cities may survive, but small town ones probably won't.

I'm afraid that you are right. It's a shame that an industry based on tobacco harm reduction has become a target of bought politicians.

Death of a industry (in the USA).

If you can't get products shipped to you, your forced to buy local at a B&M store.

In my state they voted in a %65 tobacco vape tax so on top of the usual crazy high prices stores have, there's the tax on top of that.

Very glad I stocked up. No need to buy local or online. (or buy anything any more)

I DO sometimes wonder about batteries. There is rumor afoot that restrictions/laws about LION cells being sold to consumers will at some point come into play making getting replacement batteries problematic. We'll see.

    ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Keep something in mind. I don't know how things are in your neck of the woods, but around my woods there are small, independent tobacco shops that sell cigarettes, cigars, RYO supplies, "alt" supplies and lottery tickets and since about 2015 they all have vape gear.

In 2017 when I last checked, the vape gear they sold were all off brands from a distributor called Ecto. But it was all just rebranded aspire and kanger stuff. Aspire and Kanger do contract OEM work. They will brand certain models of their vape gear with your own brand (then sneakily call you a cloner behind your back lol).

For instance, these are just Aspire/Eigate non-nautilus BVC coils

These are just Aspire/Eigate ET-S clearomizers.

My point is, you may have more "vape shops" in your area than you think. But you may have to look in independent cigarette shops.

I might quit one day, but it'll be on my terms, and no one elses.. Especially not my Governments..

I've been building up nicotine for many years, and have more then enough to DIY for years.. I don't want to DIY though with lack of space and privacy in my house.. Down the road maybe..
As for now I've been ordering as much juice as humanly possible and have boxes in my closet stacking up.. I'll be good for a year or two even with the amount I vape..
My wifes liquids of choice will last her about the same, but she doesn't vape a 10th of what I vape.
sneaker Boxes filled with squonk mods for rainy days, so really all I need is batteries and coils which will be easy to get.
Personally I have no worries.. Been planning for vaping to be banned since I don't even know when.

If you want to continue, and not pay vape shops the over priced $ they charge, you might want to get on it..

I DIY our all day vape in large batches but when I'm looking for variety or am unable to mix, I've got a mini fridge full of zero nic premix liquid that I can add nic to when I want to use it. I expect it to keep for a number of years and am very thankful for clearances!

It feels like my early vaping days again, when no shop was within 100 miles and I got a big order from China, swathed in so much bubble wrap that inspectors wouldn't bother. Back to the future.
