It would make a damned good sweetener ! Tastes like a mixture of earthy maple and chomping on sugar cane bark. The tobacco hasn't really sunk in yet. Has it for you ?

Kinda, but only in a way that can be attributed to the power of suggestion. LOL. But, yeah, it's a sweet one.

Ok so I have a few questions. I have pretty much only cap & tfa flavors except for like 2 or 3 fw.
I'm dying to put in another order (even though I really don't need to)

I wanna try a few FA flavors but I'm not sure which. Most vendors I'm paying close to $4 for a 10ml. Should I wait till I need a flavor? I know purevapes has 3mls for $1.50 but I can't see paying that when a 10ml is a little over double. Unless I should just to try them. Is it true FA only needs 1-2%?

Any flavors anyone would recommend? I'm pretty maxed on fruits.

Also FW - any must haves there? I know I need more yellow cake and their cheescake is on my list.

It is true with FA that many only need 1-2% and some need way less and only a few will need much more more. My average with FA is about 3%.

Try Eliquidmart for sampling FA as they have 5 mL bottles for $1.69.

From FW, my must-haves are Yogurt and Banana Split. The yogurt is so authentic it's not even funny (to be used at 4-9% or thereabout) and their Banana Split I use as simply banana since it is the one banana concentrate that actually taste like mashed ripe bananas and not green banana or banana candy -- though I will add a drop of Banana Ripe from TFA.

I can probably come up with more to try later, just right now those were the two from FW and from FA it's any number of concentrates, but not their tobaccos -- mostly fruits.

What about INW Banana? Someone said it was awesome; it's on my BCV wishlist, for later purchase.

One I have yet to try. Is there only one, or does it come in 4 variations? LOL. I'll put it in my cue, but I really am fond of B.Split.

Looks like 3 variations: Shisha Banana, Banana Concentrate, Banana WG-INW ; at least, that's all I see at BCV. I think it was the concentrate someone was raving about.

Don't get the WG Banana. Seriously, just say no. lol It's a banana runt taste with extra added harsh chemical taste. As much as I love Inawera fruits, the WG fruits, with a couple exceptions, don't do it for me at all. WG tobaccos, yes. The house banana is good, the shisha is too, but a little softer.

So the "concentrate"? Banana Concentrate-INW - Bull City Vapor

Thank you all for this becasue bad banana makes me go bananas!

I agree; artificial banana is horrible. I love the banana flavor, but I have to be really careful with banana-flavored edibles; dried banana chips are color-preserved with sulfites, and even the banana shake at Steak n Shake has sulfites -- could be deadly to an asthmatic.

Asthmatics now make up approx 25% of the population. And the FDA lets food manufacturers use this COLOR preservative which will send an asthmatic into an asthma attack at the very least, or potentially, full pulmonary collapse. (sulfur dioxide could be used in place of sulfites)

And they're worried about e-cigarettes?? Which, even if every smoker in America switched TODAY, would mean only about 20% or a bit less, of the population???

The past few days I have experienced a huge shift in my ideas, desires and success with mixing. I was barking up the dessert-tree for so long with about a 30% success ratio (and that may be generous), and about half of that was something I wanted to actually keep on hand. That's not good enough for me. For whatever reason, I have found that mixing bright flavors -- or general fruit-types -- has made all the difference in the world.

I think the diketone mess has inhibited my creativity and I am slowly turning away from ideas that require something that I don't want to use. Whether that be concentrates with diketones or the diketone-free replacements. The one exception, though it's not exactly a replacement, would be FA's Custard. That lends itself to the brighter side without trying to be like the other questionable custards.

That's the one. It's not the perfect be-all-end-all of banana but it's not bad at all. Another banana I've used is TFA banana cream. It's a bit on the weak side though. I would put a few drops, less than 1% of TFA ripe banana with it. Ripe banana by itself is runts, but a tiny bit bumps up the other.
I agree about FA Custard, it's got the lemony note that's delish with fruits. I tried CAP V2 custard and it tastes like plastic to me.

That's been my delema for a while now. I'm good with my tobacco mixes. My deserts are coming into there own but diketone's make that at best difficult and I just can't get a handle on a good fruit and only use them as accent's for deserts and tobaccos. Candies or overly sweet beverage vapes are not my bag so I stay away from those.

Hmm plastic... that might just be it! When I tried a couple drops of the CAP v2 custard in my cocoa, I was utterly repulsed, it's so SCREAMINGLY artificial. Got some TFA Vanilla Swirl on the way. I'm not a fan at all of lemon flavor (except on fish!) but maybe I should try FA's also.

After I grew tired of tobacco flavor, I started with fruits; pineapple, blueberry, but that led me to Blueberry Muffin and all these other dessert type flavors. I'm looking forward to playing with the FA Apple Pie.

Now, I find that maybe it was just the Virginia flavor I grew tired of; some sweeter, "pipe tobacco" type flavors might be nice, but I don't know anything about the various types of tobacco, to even know where or how to start with that. In descriptions, I see things like "burley," "cavendish," as if that would mean something in terms of taste -- it means absolutely nothing to me at all.

Lemony...ummm... Yea....
I mixed a couple of simple custards yesterday with the FA Custard...

Strawberry Custard,
11% FA Custard
7% Flavor Express Strawberry
and it came out really good, not lemony at all.

Vanilla Custard,
15% FA Custard
4% Cap French Vanilla V2
2% FA Vienna Cream
this one is very lemony, couldn't put my finger on it at first then read glasseye's post and it hit me...that's what it is...not very good to me...not crazy about lemon....I'm going to try it again at 10-11% and bump up the vanilla

Funny that 3% made that big of difference or maybe the strawberry just mixed with it better,
I want to try that Shisha Strawberry but while waiting for the Biscuit to come back in stock the Shisha is now out of stock.....I hope this doesn't turn into a viscous cycle, I have a bunch on my Wishlist!

How's that Flavor Express Strawberry? I LOVE the flavor of the Shisha Strawberry, but it's a massive gunker, so I was thinking of trying some other strawberry flavors to see if I could find one I liked as well, that wouldn't gunk up the wick AND coil so rapidly. The scent of the shisha strawberry is what makes it really special, the smell is absolutely authentic, like you just swallowed a bite of strawberries (and cream -- I mix it with sweet cream, bavarian cream, and a hint of vanilla). For an RDA it wouldn't be an issue, but in my kayfuns, the dark gunk on the wick seeps under the chimney, and eventually turns the whole tank darker. It doesn't taste bad at all when that happens, but my husband said the fresh strawberry smell of it turns into "burnt crap."
