How's that Flavor Express Strawberry? I LOVE the flavor of the Shisha Strawberry, but it's a massive gunker, so I was thinking of trying some other strawberry flavors to see if I could find one I liked as well, that wouldn't gunk up the wick AND coil so rapidly. The scent of the shisha strawberry is what makes it really special, the smell is absolutely authentic, like you just swallowed a bite of strawberries (and cream -- I mix it with sweet cream, bavarian cream, and a hint of vanilla). For an rda it wouldn't be an issue, but in my kayfuns, the dark gunk on the wick seeps under the chimney, and eventually turns the whole tank darker. It doesn't taste bad at all when that happens, but my husband said the fresh strawberry smell of it turns into "burnt crap."

It's actually pretty good. Not a real strong strawberry but not real sweet or artificial tasting to me. The mix I made almost tastes like NT Strawnilla, still missing something but it is good.

Try the FA Custard at no higher than 5% and see how it is in the same mix. That's one of those flavors that loses flavor the higher it goes.

I will try that with the vanilla but at 11% with strawberry it was really good.

So far I've found that I only like the FA custard as a standalone flavor. For a mix, caps custard is still my go to flavoring. Just something about it that pops. That lemon in fa's custard clashes with my palate in the custard blends I am used to vaping, though by itself, it tastes like a true custard dessert.

What % do you mix the FA as a standalone?

Hi guys, I'm hoping you can help me. I bought some 0 nic Space Jam juice and I want to add nicotine to it. Can someone direct to me what kind of liquid I need to make it the same as normal nicotine based space jam? I'm a low - medium vaper. I'm from UK also if that helps. Thanks!

No matter how you cut it, so to speak, you'll be diluting the Space Jam flavoring. If you use lower mg nic to add to it, you'll be diluting it more since you'll have to add more. You can use 100 mg/mL to the greatest effect (i.e., without diluting the flavoring too much), but if you are unfamiliar with handling nicotine at higher strengths, I really don't know about telling you what to do (at least with the amount of time I have right now). Hopefully someone with a few more minutes can better explain what your best course of action would be.

If you are comfortable with handling high strength nic and have some syringes/needles, gloves and whatnot, you could add 1 mL of 100 mg nic (either in PG, VG or both) to 30 mL 0 mg/mL for 3.23 mg/mL, and if you double that to 2 mL of 100 mg/mL into the 0 mg/mL, you'd be at 6.25 mg/mL.

You can get a basic eliquid calculator and tweak your numbers to your own needs. Hope this helps some, but don't jump in until you are sure you got an understanding -- also, get a couple more tips as I don't even have time right now to proof read this. I am posting since I see you didn't get a response.

I'm glad you posted Andria. I just marked it off my list. The Inawera Karmel (caramel) is a coil gunker as well and I'm thinking their Wanilia (vanilla) is too but I haven't tested it that well yet. I guess we all need to start adding that info with our comments. I'm guessing that anything with some natural flavors is potentially a coil gunker, and I don't mind as long as I can get 8 to 10 ml before changing my wicks.

Hopefully you'll get some suggestions on another strawberry.

I hope so too; I'm loving this flavor, but it's proving to be a huge PITA since I don't drip. What I've started doing is that JUST AS SOON as I see the least bit of dark seepage, I drain the tank -- still usable juice at that point, so I just drain it to a needle-topped bottle for re-use -- and go ahead and do a dry-burn and rewick. If I do this every day, then I'm not wasting juice, and not giving my husband "burnt crap" to smell. :D It's a far worse gunker than anything else I've used before, even worse than WTA on its own. When I started using WTA, I noticed that I needed to rewick weekly, instead of every couple of weeks, but this daily business is hell of a bother.

Those of you who use only RDAs, no need to worry; it's really only a problem in a tank.

The best way is to get some more Space Jam in a high nic and combine it with your's. Any other way is going to dilute your flavors as mentioned by Mr.Mann.

Yep, 'tis the bet way -- unless for some strange reason the OP was precluded from getting more Space Jam in a nic 2x his/her normal strength (2x the normal strength diluted with zero mg/mL would of course give the target percentage).

ocp15k had another thread yesterday and got some good advise over there, they are in the UK so maybe can't get juice with nicotine, they never really said, but in the UK the strongest nic base you can get is 72mg.
I mix 50mg with 0 nic juice to a 6mg and it really doesn't dilute it at all that I can taste but it's a pretty strong NT flavor, was the last of a short run and all that was left was 0mg and it's my all time favorite so I bought all that was left!

Yes, I started a few months ago with mostly single flavors. After reading this thread I ordered a few more flavors and I am about ready to try some more complicated mixes...

Considering how you are with the diketone dilemma, I would recommend looking into FlavourArt -- you won't even have to wonder or research. Just stick to their normal line and not their Kitchen Magic line and you'll be fine.

I think I'm going to be trying out some FlavorArt flavors too; I was surprised to discover that their Apple Pie was diketone free, and I've seen a lot of recommendations recently for their other flavors. Do they have a good strawberry, has anyone tried it?

I know their regular "Apple" flavor is pretty good.

You are right, diketones were a big drawback for me with flavours. It is so nice that the vaping industry is moving on this. Reading this thread showed me that diketones free flavours are getting easier to identify. Thanks for the recommendation, I will checkout flavourArt.

You know, I don't even know if FA has a strawberry. If they do, I sure don't read much about it. Let me check really quickly...

Yeah, they have one but I have not tried it. It sucks becasue I just spent a stupid amount of money yesterday and I didn't even see it. Oh well, maybe next round.

The diketone problem is really why I got serious with DIY; the flavoring manufacturers are starting to let people know if there are diketones in a flavor (or the vendor, like BCV), and make some non-diketone versions, but with pre-made juice, who the heck knows what's in it. Plus I've discovered that it's really not hard to make juice that I like a lot better than the commercial stuff, AND it saves a buttload of money.

Well I'll be the guinea pig, I'm tired of waiting for the Shisha and want to get the rest of my wishlist and I've been on a strawberry kick lately so I'll give it a go and let ya'll know.

Ha! Yeah, I just realized my next round will come this week -- I HAVE to try FA Strawberry!!! But I hate having to eat the cost of shipping again, that's a loss no matter how you slice it.
