Honestly, I appreciate and understand some of ya'lls concern....however as I have made the mistake of not posting in my thread earlier that its zero nicotine....let me also say I am not doing this 24/7 ....I am enjoying the flavor and the "smoke"....I simply was wondering if I was the only one???? Guess so????

No, I don't think you're the only non-smoker, just probably one of the rare outspoken ones.

A lot of my non-smoking buddies have taken a puff (they don't inhale), just to check it out, because, well... it's different.

I'm dead certain there are others simply because there are brand new analog smokers picking up their new habit every day, in spite of the known risks and warnings.

So, I don't see a problem if you want to vape.

You're an adult, do what you want.

I'm glad you are using 0 nic, I can't wait to get there myself.

To me, a non-smoker vaping 0 nic is the same as a non-drinker enjoying alcohol free beer.

I also vape 0 nic, and I have been smoking for years, just not tobacco cigs. Since I found vaping, it has helped me in so many ways. I love to smoke, but don't get along with tobacco, so I found herbal alternatives and became a daily smoker for many years. I did smoke cigs for a short time in the early 90's (high school), but the tobacco buzz did not agree with me. Since the first time I lit one up, I have always enjoyed the act of smoking, and was so happy to find a non-combustible way to smoke that is so much better on my body than burning and inhaling anything. I found that I don't cough/hack like I used to, my sense of smell/taste is much better now, I still get the enjoyment of puffing away on tasty vapor without burning myself up, and I get to use these nifty products. I see absolutely nothing wrong if anyone wants to vape for any reason as long as they are adults. I can see why long time cig smokers would feel a sense of duty to make sure nonsmokers don't pick up a nicotine habit if they don't already have the addiction, but smoking or vaping is like any other choice we have the freedom to make (at least for now) and it's no different than saying you shouldn't eat hamburgers, or twinkies because they are not good for you, or drink non alcoholic beer, if you so choose etc... The point I'm trying to make, is we all get choices, using 0 nic to vape seems like a wise choice, if that's what a person chooses to do. Just because e cigs are being used as a tool to help smokers quit, does not mean it's exclusively for them, and nobody else. Either way, I want to puff on something, so I would rather it be vapor, and I have cut my combustion smoking back so far, that I rarely even want to do it any more, now that I can vape. To each his own, and hey, we are helping support the e cig markets, and exposing our smoker friends to vaping when they may not have ever given it a thought. I know I have personally turned on at least 5 smokers to e cigs in the past month alone, and they love them. Nothing wrong with it at all..IMO... I love it!

Yes im very certain about how I feel about things and dont mind saying so....im also a very straight to the point person its trying to put it in type (on paper) where I get a little goofed at my points but I try....Im keeping my fingers crossed for my friends and family that are trying to vape instead and im proud of them for trying and I wish all of yall the best in quitting or at least cutting down on analogs although i feel like a cheat in saying so since I have not picked up the habbit....it takes yall wanting to quit and the help from others as well.....and this is a great place for all of us vapers for flavor and enjoyment and the ones who vape to try and make their lives healthier by not using analogs....

Thanks Scoob, just telling it how I see it, and I think I have also lost some weight, since I started vaping all these tasty flavors. I don't want to stuff snacks in my mouth all day long like I used to, so I am not consuming all those nasty ingredients that are in most snack foods, I get to satisfy my cravings with vapor now... soon we will be seeing diet adds, vape your way thin ;) anyone make a cheeto's flavor juice yet?

The hubby has never smoked analgos, and hated the fact that I did. (well, do... still might have one in the evenings, but it's a far cry from the 1+ pack a day habit of a month ago.)

Of course, he would light up a cigar or a pipe once every three or four months. (has to buy fresh pipe tobacco every time since it goes stale between lights. All that waste to get one pipe full....)

He finds my eCig fascinating and has been trying a vape or two of the 0nic flavors I keep for my evening use. He's now talking about getting one of the eCigars and an ePipe. No waste, cause he knows I enjoy the flavors he likes too, and I'm not gonna give the juice a chance to go "stale" between the rare times he wants to use em. Of course, he might have to rassle me to get them back on those occasions.

I can only vape VG, after having a bad reaction to the PG flavors, so I am still searching for flavors that do not contain any PG, it's not easy, I've looked high and low, and only have a very small selection so far. I made my own vanilla, with VG and pure vanilla extract, which I had to heat up to 180f to cook off the alcohol. It's ok, not great, but it mixes well with the cheesecake flavor I have. YUM. I pretty much mix cheesecake flavor with caramel, strawberry, or blueberry most of the time. It will be nice when there are more VG only flavors available, I prefer to mix my own, but can't find concentrates that are not PG based.

Actually youre not alone.I started vaping in Oct, after quitting for twenty odd years. Only I am using 8mg. For my health no less. I know every one who hears about it thinks I'm nuts. But I have done a lot of research on pg and nicotine. Or more specifically on the benefits of pg and nico.

Bobtow, what are the benefits? I'd love to know. :)

I think we would all like a chance to read the info you have found. Can you start a thread containing the information and links to the stuff you have found? It would help lots of folks here at ECF. :)

okay im new today on the forum....and I am enjoying all the help and info...I have never been a smoker of analogs at all ....My friends are....im getting them to try this e-cigarette experience.....I simply enjoy the "smoke and the flavor" am I the only one???? Sooooo many to try trust me im gonna keep searching... I have some on order from MS TS's and Vapor4life cant wait....

I agree with you, I smoke Miniature cigars, I enjoy the smoke and the flavor just as you've said and the way I look at it, I might as well be able to enjoy the smoke and flavor without having to worry as much about any side effects! I'm going to stick with the 0 nicatine packs that arn't regular tobacco flavored, at least when I decide which one to get that is.

This has been a really interesting conversation!

Like so many people in this forum, I have been able to put cigarettes down successfully for the first time because of e-cigarettes. A 36 year habit in my case. It is frightening that the "gateway" or other subjective arguments may be used to ban or regulate their use.

I love e-cigarettes. In many ways more then I enjoyed smoking tobacco.
But to be honest, I am just hoping that I have switched to a fairly harmless substitute. The jury is still not completely in on that yet.

I think people were wise at the beginning of this thread to warn against starting for the sake of starting.
