Seems silly to put in an order for $1.00 worth of o-rings. I need to need something else there first and I am already well stocked. I wish I knew they were there when I ordered the Reomizers.

Hmmm.......Perhaps another Reomizer for backup is in my future to go with the o-rings and yes the screws.

hmm i didnt see any screws on reo site am i missing something ?

That looks sharp. Sometimes I wish I would have ordered a teak mini although the ebony is nice too. My office is decked out in teak furniture from the 60s. Is the teak on the mini getting redder with age?

Anyone know the size of the o-rings on the rba? Would Home Depot sell them? I am going to lose one of these soon if I don't have a back up on hand.

Wish I could tell you about Color change. If it has changed it hasn't been much. I purchased it from a Reonaut virtually unused and stored in a dark safe for many months. When it arrived here I treated it inside and out with Howard's Feed with UV protection. I used it a lot for a couple months then loaned it out for a few months. When it came home it was about the time VVGs came out so it's been sitting in a low light cabinet for several months. So I haven't been able to observe it closely over time. Becoming more red over time would be super. I don't want it going grey like outside, untreated Teak that is weather exposed. I love the simplicity of the grain; good "honest" wood.

Hugs, Feisty Alice

Thanks, with time it should look like the REO on the left in your avi color-wise--less gold more red in the brown. Teak is a wonderful wood and so hard and durable.

Thanks Rob. Hopefully I won't need 100 of them-my eyes aren't that bad.

I have a question about the Reomizer- can it be torched like the ERA?
The reason I ask is that I successfully torched one of my ERA's yesterday and it looks awesome!!
I'd like to do the same with my Reomizer but am afraid since it's not 100% stainless steal I'd end up ruining the top cap if I do.

It might work Dave you'd have to be very careful because its chromed brass and go real slow and at least if you screw it up its only $40:laugh:

Article mentions that club head will likely reach 450 (not sure if K, C, or F). Melting point of chrome is 2180 K (or 1907°C, or 3465°F). Melting point of brass 900 to 940 °C, 1652 to 1724 °F, depending on composition.

For our purposes, torching RBAs, I think it's best to keep it simple and not use any cooling media, rather air cool, and no desire for a finish coating.

Be sure to completely disassemble RBA.

My take will always be the same if something works don't mess with it . I would say nope not worth it you would cook the gaskets . Get a fresh pile of dirt ready
Thanks Rob- good advice...didn't know there was a gasket in the top portion. I will not torch the Reomizer then...
