The Reomizer is one of the smoothest vapes for an rba... very nice. I never did try a Phoenix.
I was thinking of putting a floating bit of cotton ball over the coil to let it hang over a bit to reach the bottom of the Reomizer and catch juice.
Keeping the coil close to the hole is tricky as we're told not to touch the wires to the base...

Jeez. I've been searching for an affordable bottom-fed RBA for MONTHS.

Now I found this! Just paid the bills and I'm $18 short lmao ....

Edit: Will this thing work on a Reo Mini? I'm seeing posts about needing an adapter..

No...it won't work on a Mini without an adapter. Rob has adapters on his site, too.

I finally got my Reomizers today. They took two round trips through the Sandy plagued Kearny, NJ sorting station. Only a week or so delayed as they wandered around the great Garden State in the loving care of USPS.

Late to the party of RBA, this is my first and so far I am using the Rob made coil. Thanks Rob for setting it up to use right out of the mail. This thing make huge vapor but not quite as flavorful as my usual HH.357. I am hoping as it breaks in or I learn to make the perfect coil/wick, it will surpass it. It's already getting better in the 2 hours I have had it.

My squonking is a little off (heavy handed) since it doesn't blind squonk and I am getting slight leaks. By this time tomorrow I am sure I'll have it down.

I bought some 100% hemp and 100% cotton wicking type thread/yarn/cord today at Michael's and orderd 28, 30, and 32 wire with my Reomizer, so I am ready to play.

Any hints to help me along? I want hotter and more flavor than the Rob made one on my VV Grand.

I can't believe atomizer technology has reached the point I may be able to afford to never clean another atty coil again. Nirvana!

I use an adapter with an ERA on my Mini version 2 (18490) w/ an inverted Ego cone- works great!! I'm sure it will work with the Reomizer as well. Rob, maybe you can add both of these to your site- the cone needs to be ground down just a bit but it fills the gap and keeps the atty from being to tight against the center pin in the Reo.

There is a bit of break in period. However, most have found the coils they have built outshine the mass produced ones that are typically shipped with all the RBAs. You will probably find that the coils you build will take care of the flavor. :)

If I understood correctly, he means taking a mini ego cone like this one: Silver eGo Shorty Cone
Then grinding down the narrow end a bit, flipping it narrow end towards the Reo, and using it as a drip shield for RBA.

I love that idea, kind of like an o-ring that goes into the drip cup to seal it to the RBA, but metal rather than silicone/rubber. Should make it steadier, protect the connector, and prevent crushing gaskets.

Did I get that right, Dave?

Here you go- it comes in silver too. I have both but use the gold one because my door on the Mini 2.0 is gold color: Gold eGo Shorty Cone

Hey, exactly!! The wider part fits up against the ERA exactly and makes it seamless, like it's part of it!!
