Hi guys, after some monkey business with the USPS, I have taken possession of my new Juul package. I've been hitting on it for only a few hours, and I must say I think I like it. I think I like it a lot, actually.

As for the hardware, it seems solidly built. It charges as quickly as they say, and the magnets that hold the Juul onto the charger are strong enough to hold the Juul sideways--this is important since my USB ports are aligned vertically in my desktop computer. I used a AC adapter from my cellphone with the Juul USB charger, and it all worked brilliantly. I also rather like being able to check the charge level of the Juul. Tap it twice to see green, yellow, or red; it's a lot like my Innokin CLK batteries, so this seems comfortingly familiar to me.

As for the juice, well it's not my favorite Nicoticket flavor. And, the vapor quantity does not keep up with my Nautilus. I would say that the vapor quantity of the new Blu tanks are a bit greater, even. But, gosh, the Juul does supply the nicotine better, and thus it satisfies without big clouds. For the first time in a long time, I don't feel chained to my PV. After awakening this morning, I was able to happily vape the Juul, and then "easily put it down for a while." Normally, I would be huffing and puffing on the Nautilus like a steam engine, and still not feel "quite right."

It's the last point that compelled me to give the Juul a test--it's great that I have been off smoking for 3.5 months, and that I've brought my nicotine down from 24mg to 12mg, but I have not felt quite right in a long time. Rather, I've been feeling like just a guy that's able to stay of cigs for a while, but not necessarily jazzed about it. But this morning I felt pretty good. It will be interesting to see how I get on at work.

I will report more as I continue using the Juul.

Might have to Pick Up a Juul next Month.

How's the does the Battery Life seem?

I'm still working on my first charge, but I think two of these could last me throughout the day without plugging it. Thing is, you don't need to draw on this as much or as hard because the juice is so effective. It's even possible to get too much of a good thing--I felt a little green around the gills this morning on my way into work. Normally, my Nauti is attached to my hand while driving, but I just felt like putting the Juul in the cup holder for, well, most of the drive into work.

I think that if you don't want to be constantly attached to your PV, and you want to be inconspicuous, yet you want nicotine satisfaction, then the Juul is probably something you should at least try for yourself. However, as they say, YMMV. :D

Sounds like the Juul is hitting more like a Cigarette. Takes some hits, and then put it down for awhile.

The more I hear about the Juul, the more I would like to try One for Myself.

I ordered one over the weekend. I was just going to buy pods, but the shipping was expensive, and with free shipping on the kit, and the 25% discount, it didn't cost a lot more for the kit. It's too expensive for me to keep using it, so I have no intention to, but I want to try the juice.

Update: After 11 hours of my normal use, the battery needed charging--not a big deal, just plug into my desktop at work. My normal use includes quite a bit of vaping in the morning and during commuting to work. At work, I generally step out to vape about once per hour; and when I do, I hit it pretty hard and quick. After 11 hours of this behavior, I still have about 1/4 - 1/3 of a pod left of juice.

Normally I would have already blown through about 2-3 ml of juice on the Nautilus, so the Juul did cut down on my juice consumption without making me feel deprived. Rather, I had to slow down a few times throughout the day to keep from getting too much nicotine, or at least it felt that way.

From a nicotine standpoint, I think I feel generally more satisfied with the Juul than with my other devices. But time will tell, and I will report back how it goes.

Curiosity overcame the cat and I just ordered one. I can see some potential uses where it would just fit better than my mechs for stealth vaping. As an example, I'm going to the movies next week and have been trying to decide what mech and atty combo I wanted to take to stealth with or if I should just go with a twist and a protank. I think it might take less frequent, smaller hits with this to keep me comfortable and it could be quite useful for situations where I want to be really unobtrusive.

I can do this already...there is DEFINITELY a difference between what is in theirs and my normal stuff. I refilled one with my normal driver and I am on it a lot more. When I use theirs, I "feel" it...eyes open wide. 4-5ish pulls, I'm done for a bit.

But as I said yesterday, it isn't "race" and I slept right...none of that vape 'OD' nicdreams action. I have no idea what kind of 'nicotine' is in there but it isn't like my usual stuff @ 24mg or below.

This thing appears to be a real advancement in ecigs. The salts used by Juul are close to what the tobacco contains. Not requiring to inhale huge amounts of fluids like pg and vg makes it attractive, In my opinion.

If there is a way to refill these things they could be prove to be economical.
US patent 20150020824 gives some idea about the formulation.

Why does this scare me?
I keep feeling like something is in there that we have removed for vaping and makes vaping easier to go down in nic. Like, some of us have managed to break the addiction to nicotine, but this scares me that it will be introducing the compound that creates the strong nic need....

I don't know if I am explaining myself well.....

Just something about this....

I guess time will tell.

I'm not sure if it Scares me? But it does give me Pause. And it makes me think of Possibilities.

Because I was Fine with a RN4081 Atty until I tried Cartos. And Cartos were Great until I tried Clearos. Never needed Mmore with Clearos until I tried RBA's. And RBA's go me where is Wanted to go (mostly) until I got my 1st Subtank.

So what I wonder is if I got into Juul Juice, would it make my Standard e-Liquids not seem Good Enough?

I have an Addictive Personality. This is why it was hard for me (and MANY others here) to Quit Smoking. I could see the Possibility of Myself using Juul Juice and then not wanting to go back to Regular e-Liquids.

I had a couple of thoughts along those lines, but decided to try it out anyway. I plan to use it just in places where I'm "stuck" for a couple of hours and need to be really discrete if I want a vape. I rarely ever find myself stuck anywhere for much of a length of time that I can't slip away if I decide I need a vape so I don't see me using it on a daily or even weekly basis. Since I happen to enjoy the whole tinkering aspect of my mechanicals and being able to fix it when it doesn't work, a Juul won't replace the whole aspect of vaping for me. However if I do use it and decide it's the best thing since sliced bread, and a cartridge does really last for a day would I be better off inhaling 0.8ml/day of whatever's in there or my current 15ml/day(some of it flavored and some of it not)?

I want to get a feeling for how helpful it can potentially be for people trying to quit smoking, and see if it can be helpful for me in other ways, now that I've haven't smoked in a long time, and am confident that I won't relapse. I can understand your worries, though.

This thread got me realizing I don't want to keep vaping as much VG as I've been. I didn't use to need to see a lot of vapor (thanks DC2), and it's been really easy for me to adjust to higher PG % the past few days. I had to add more flavor wicks to my mini protanks, etc, adjust the nic down a bit, and I enjoy the better PG/VG balance. I think somewhere around 60/40 PG/VG is where I'm going to settle, but I'm still experimenting. Still getting PLENTY of visible vapor. Definitely more than smoking.

This can be helpful if I want to go to higher nic with the intention of lowering the amount of PG, VG (and flavorings when I use them) in each drag. I'd already gone up in nic for that purpose, but stopped going farther because of lower visual output. I'll bring the VG % back up again if I get the nic % high enough that I see very little vapor.

I guess I'm in training for the arrival of my Juul juice.

So far, they've screwed up my order. Something went wrong with the age verification and they're supposed to quickly get back to me. My order says "on hold", so I called them. Got an email that says I left something in my cart (I hadn't). The first 2 times I tried to order, with one browser no pages would open after the first couple were viewed, and another browser said the certificates were invalid. The next day, I was able to complete an order.

So, lots of problems up to this point, and waiting to hear something...

BTW - This Plot Graph is a Great Example of a 'Visual Conclusion" based on Incomplete Information.

juulgraph.jpg

For the "Combustion Cigarette", what was the Nicotine mg Level as Tested?
(Remember: mg in Cigarettes is given by the Amount of Nicotine in mg that the Average Persons Body Absorbs)

And for the "Traditional e-Liquid", what was the e-Liquid's mg/ml?

Also for the "Traditional e-Liquid", what type of Hardware was used to Vaporize the e-Liquid? A Cig-a-Like @ 6 Watts?

So does this Graphic Really tell a person Anything? Or just Attempt to place a Visual Conclusion in one's Cranium?

Right...

This graph looks very suspicious to me...

I'm familiar with freebase nicotine, but this still sounds more like WTA to me.

Not to me. And I'm a WTA junkie. I use snus, dissolvables and Jerry's WTA unflavored--all at very low nic concentrations. I was never a high nic smoker--high nic just makes me sick.
