Just wondering if I was the only one. I haven't seen them mentioned before that I can remember.

The configuration isn't a new one, I saw a mech a couple years ago set up like that, battery beside the atty with button on top, but they have done a good job of it and it does present well. Nicely styled. I'd like to see a pic of it with the extender installed. For the way I vape 18650's are mandatory. I'm not saying I'd get one, I'm pretty much hooked on my Poldiacs, but it is interesting. Quite a compact and functional package.

I think it would look pretty spiffy with my Origin Genesis V2 in it. Just sayin...

Well that's not bad at all! Come on now, that's not too tall! You could live with that, right? It's nowhere near as tall as a Provari. Anyway, on their web page it looks like you have to buy it in 18500 mode, and pay extra for the extender. I might think about it if they'd sell it in 18650 mode. I like that gunmetal gray one too, it's the one I'm picturing my Origenny in. I think that would be sexy :)

Yeah it is sold as an 18500, and you pay extra for the extender, but that works for me. :) They are fairly heavy as it is, and the extender and an 18650 batt would add more weight. Mine weighs in at 163.20 grams or 5.7oz's with the batt., and no RTA.

Heavy works for me, it's one of the things I love about my Poldiacs.

I have looked at the Gizmos, particularly for really tall attys like the Flash e Vapor. I guess not being able to dry burn on it put me off a little. I had a friend's Microstick here. Went to set up her Spheroid, and said, oh...wait...that's not going to work, lol! So nice if you don't mind using another mod for dry burning.

Have you decided on your 4th yet? You can't get any better I think. Some come up pretty close, but do not surpass them. For some reason, I just need variety. :)

Yeah, you can't get any better than a Poldiac, in my experience so far.

Well the 4th Poldiac is going to have to wait, I really went over the top this month spending over $800 on vaping gear. There are some resellers who still have them, and for decent prices, but now here comes this cute little Gizmo thingy... hmmmmm.....

@Vaslovik , I think I should mention, in case you decide to get a Gizmo, or think about it more, you might have to change what you use for batteries. These are designed to use efest button tops. In my case, using AW batteries, the aw's are shorter than the efests, and I have to use a small magnet on the negative end of the battery to make up for the shorter length. Flat tops won't work. Also it is a magnetic switch. No biggie for me, but something you might want to think about

Well that wouldn't be a problem, I still have 10 Efest IMR 18650 button tops left over from when I started vaping, just sitting there doing nothing. I do find it odd that they would make it like that though. It certainly does influence my decision.

What is the amp rating on the Efests? I'm glad you posted that as I didn't know.

I believe for the 18650's efest rates them at 35a continuous, but they are well know to overate their batteries. Most according to tests are only 20a continuous. I'm not sure about the 18500's.

Yeh, I don't know why they did that either. I don't use efests, and it took me a bit to figure out what was going on when the Gizmo wouldn't fire. After watching Todd's review on the v1 he did, I saw that you would need the magnet to use a different battery.
