I use to have $50 set aside for analogs but as you can see I am blowing that on tanks. I have found the ones I like the best and I am going to stick with. Kanger and the bcc are my favs. The 2 that I got yesterday are the tanks with a tank on top and a tank on the bottom so I can vape 2 flavors at once.

So I'm on day 45 of not smoking...

I'm about to order a couple of coffee blasts and a strawberry juice which I think is going to complete my juice collection for the next 6 weeks or so. While I'm at it I figure I'll add a Innokin itaste MVP, my first mod. So that would take me to purchases equaling 60 days worth of cigarettes, but in theory hold me over until around day 100 to 120. So that would put me ahead right? RIGHT?

I'm into other hobbies- for example backpacking. And I'm a gear junkie. When I was smoking I was spending money on these hobbies and buying cigarettes.

Now I'm not smoking - spending money on this hobby but not buying cigarettes. so I'm ahead of game.

I smoked for 30+ yrs. If I could figure out how much I spent during that time - I've only spent a itty bitty fraction of that amount on vaping.

For me, once the bills are paid if I can afford it - it's in my budget.

When I started out it was with one of the cheapest setups. Spent 15 bucks on it at Walmart. A week later I dropped$7 on a spare battery. Then bought another starter kit and that's what I used. Almost 3 months. Upgraded to eGos for a while. I don't like spending money lol (unless it's shoes) If you can afford good equipment and supplies, then why not? Whatever you're using, if it's keeping you off smokes, then it's good ;)

    No you can't
All can say when it reached $700.00 I stopped for four months just spent $20.00 on two protanks on sale.

Putting the lock back on my wallet. If that don't work I'm putting it in a large jar of water and in the freezer

Forgot to mention I rolled my own for years and it cost less than $0.95 a pack.
I smoked for 54 years then stopped!

spent about $500 on several apv's, juices from like 7 diff. vendors, 5 protanks, 10 evods, some wick, wire. I figure this will last me awhile, plan on just spending 30 bucks here and there for juices i want to try. trying to keep myself from spending on want and more on need. But i'm rich so money ain't no thing..hahahaha jk :(.

I went into this with the expectation that it would be a lot less expensive than smoking. Those ever increasing ...for the childern!!! sin taxes and all. Smokers in MA are about to get whacked with a $1.00 a pack State tax increase, if it hasn't started already. Cheap, bottom feeder cigarettes will be close to $90.00 a carton. Haven't toodled past a Kwikee Mart lately to check.

Anyway. Expectation? Yes. Budget? Not really. See my sig banner? Those numbers are still based on what butts cost me over two years ago when I stopped. I dicken with Quicken so I know my numbers - whether I want to or not. I'm spending 1/3 of what I used to spend on smoking and have way more hardware (liquids too) than I really "need". Me happy.

Congrats on your two years today! :bday:

Budget, yeah right! I was spending about $220 a month on analogs and been vapin' about 2 months. In that time I have:
eGo starter kit - 2 650 mah batteries, 1 CE4 clearo, charger, extra atty, case
    eGo Twist 1000mah
another charger for Twist as eGo's were pass-through charger
    3 Vision CE5 clearos
5 pack of spare atties for CE5
JoyeTech eRoll starter - yes, bought after the eGo for some of my rougher hobbies. It is smaller and easier to carry without damage
5 pack of spare atties for eRoll
5 pack of spare carts for eRoll
    Vamo V2
    2 18350 900mah batts
    2 18650 2600mah batts
    2 ProTanks
    3 MT3's
    1 EVOD
5 pack of atties for ProTank/EVOD
    4 spare atties for MT3's
about 30 different juices most of which I don't really care for.

Had to finally go buy an plastic organizer box to put all this stuff in and get it off every surface in my house. I'm about even now and setup pretty well for the near future. I keep trying juices looking for more ADV options. I have about 4 currently. I feel better, more freedom, don't stink! and I should start falling under my analog spend more and more now.

It's all one BIG WIN!! :D

I have not figured out a budget yet, just started vaping a week ago. My girlfriend and I both smoked and we stopped at the same time. It worked out well because we got started for just a bit more then two cartons would have cost to keep smoking. I have spent a few hundred so far just trying to figure out what I like. Once that is done I should come out well ahead. If I can control the urge for new toys lol.

Big saver here. Start up was the most expensive. I got talked/read into a few things that were so popular. Yet, I was not so much in love with it once I got it. So I stopped doing that. I found what I need to work to keep me off cigs. Thats all I ask for.

My big expendature now is the flavours. But even that is calming down now that I have tried maybe 20 or 30. I DIY'ed for a while too. (I am a bad cook) Those 20 flaves were enough for me to learn what flav profiles i like and which I dont. (no tobacco, caramel or vanilla for me, etc) The experimentaion is going down.

My hubby is so happy with me vaping every time he looks at the bank account. He says, "order what you want". But what I really want is to save up for a vacation or something nice for the house. A bedroom set or huge TV. Or a huge TV in the bedroom.
