I see people in threads saying they will eventually quit vaping yada yada yada. I myself, never want to quit! I quit smoking, which was a great accomplishment, that honestly I said I was going to do, but never thought it would actually happen. after picking up vaping a year ago, I can never see myself stopping... I mean ive went down from 24mg nic to 6, and now im planning on going even lower with intent to cut the nic out. but I can honestly see myself vaping 0mg forever! I just love tasting new flavors, fiddling with equipment, and I guess I just love a good ol' throat hit

I have no desire to do so, either. I never planned to quite smoking. It was my hobby. Now this is my hobby. I didn't switch for health reasons. I switched because I liked it more than smoking. Don't get me wrong. It's a seemingly less deadly option according to what studies we have thus far, and that's pretty awesome, but it's just icing on the cake to me.

If Vapeing leads some or many to quit using nicotine, I'm good with that. Vapeing is not a cessation product so it's a nice consequence if that works out.

I for one have no intention of quitting my newly found healthier alternative to smoking. Yes it has become a bit of a hobby.

I adore all the nuances involved with Vapeing.

Like most in this thread I am going to slowly cut down on the nic until I get to zero, and then I will see how I feel about it. I know for sure I won't be making any more large $ purchases. With an ego twist, a VV3, two mvp2's and a provari mini with extension cap and plenty of batteries, AND enough dyi juice supplies to last me the next year, I am done buying. Well, honestly with the way things are going politically I may stock up on some high nic juice to store just in case. But my ultimate goal is to eventually not vape anything. Again, we will see how that goes when I get to no nic lol.

We are all different etc etc, this is just my plan after 25 years of smoking a PAD or more. Kind of tired of having a "smoking" habit/hobby.

I don't plan on quitting vaping. I may quit sometime down the road, but it will be because I've tired of dealing with atomizers and battery charging or my lungs develop some sort of old age inefficiency that makes me choose between living and vaping.

It's more the action of the hand to mouth habit from smoking for decades that makes it a fun hobby. I could taper off the nic and may do so, but I'd miss puffing. I'm down to about 6mg (from 24mg) and have had no issues with lowered nicotine. I could do zero and still enjoy it.

Well when I started out with all this I thought yes someday I will quit. Now that I have quit smoking I really enjoy vapeing. So for right now no I am not going to quit. I do want to decrease my nicotine level at 11 or 12mg when I started and I am still there. I am just taking baby steps. I guess. When the nicotine is out of my body I guess I will have to see where this story goes. ;)

I can't say what the future holds but, for now, I have not intention of quitting vaping... ever. But, to me, "vaping" is not synonymous with nicotine use. If someone comes up with a term to replace differentiating no-nicotine "vaping"... then that might apply. Right now its just called "vaping" and I'll be doing it right up until I don't do anything at all.

I don't know that there is another term for it. We are all vaporizing chemicals. Whether nic is in it or not, it is the same process. What kind of names do you have in mind? I am just glad I found out "ecigs" and "vaping" are two different things. Technically the same(heating chemicals to inhale into the mouth and/or lungs) but for me, ecig is the little cigalikes, not a PV and a cartotank, clearamizor or dripping system with bottles of chemicals that I choose to put into them.

I am on the fence, but still a newbie. I've been vaping for a little over a month, but just quit smoking a couple weeks ago (although I admit to sneaking a couple here and there). I got into this in order to quit smoking and I am basically there, but I really enjoy vaping. To tell the truth I smoked a cigarette today and couldnt wait to put it out because it tasted like poo and every drag I took I was wishing it was afternoon delight! I did very well for the first week of quitting but then my husband got a pack for himself and left them laying around. I ended up smoking one and then another later....and so on. Today proved it to me that I am done smoking. I really wanted that cigarette to be gone so I could go back to my tasty juice!!!! Anyway, back to the point, I am not sure what I will do. I might quit both or I might keep going. First I need to fully quit smoking cigarettes before I can say one way or the other. I will just play it by ear and see where the road takes me!
