Hi Canonikon...Looks like I'm the only one here besides you this early, and there'll be a lot more showing up in a while, bit for my:2c:,

the Reo is the very best that you can use for ultimate vaping .I really didn't have as much vapor and flavor for the 2+ years i'd vaped on

other units. The Reo mods are virtually indestructable. And when I got my first Reo i was amazed at the plumes of vapor ( we call it that instead of smoke, as the word "smoke" has connotations of cigarettes, lol, and we don't have to do that anymore...isn't it great?!)

And the people here are extremely generous with their time in answering any questions you may have, if you decide to go with a Reo , and , if so, any questions regarding the use of them.

Better is a subjective term, it all depends on your preferences and priorities.

I use a Variable Voltage Grand with a rebuildable atty as my daily driver, go-to mod. It's very robust and dependable, though you could make an argument that the all mechanical Reo's are even more so. On board juice bottle will get me through an entire day of HARD vaping, batteries usually last me 1/2 to 3/4 of a day. I don't need needles to refill the tank, and I can easily swap out the carto/atty without wasting juice or making a mess.

I also have a precise plus 18650 that I use with a vivi nova and a couple of carto tanks for a change of pace. The only trouble I've had with it is it rolling off my kitchen counter and denting when it hit my tile floor. (Reo's don't roll.) I'm never getting rid of it, and accidental impacts notwithstanding, it will never die.

My advice is to do your research, figure out your preferences and priorities, and choose a quality mod with durability and versatility. It sounds like you are already well on your way. Good luck!

I have (or have had) a lot of different PV's in the last 2 years. Three of them stand out in the crowd, and they have two things in common.
#1 you would have to work overtime to brake one of them.
#2 they are from US companies, and you can send them back for repairs if ever needed.

As you can see, the Reo is one of them.

I want something to last me a very long time and does not die out fast.

I want the vaping experience to be excellent with flavors and lots of smoke.

Reo Mods is the way to go?

Yes, stopped looking at all other mods the day I got my first REO 22 months ago. Only upgrade I have done was when the VV Reo came out. Simplicity, durability, and flexibility in one little ejuice box.

If you are at the point where you have an all day vape, the bottom feed VV Grand is absolutely super. It's the one I carry with me throughout the work week, and nights at home, great capacity, consistency, reliability, and REO customer service is stellar.

I still have a tube PV, too, same electronics as the REO, that I use when working with power tools. The carto/tank setup on it is really nice, and it is another high reliability PV, though it still doesn't match the absolute flavor/vapor of the VV Grand with a good atomizer.

Long term, a good US PV like the VV Grand is, for me, cheaper than buying multiple lower cost units over time. I went through a lot of 808 and Riva/eGo gear before switching to quality US VV units 2 years ago.

I used a vivi nova and a kanger for a couple weeks on a gripper VV. The Vivi was much better than the kanger. Never could get the kanger working right. I much prefer REOs. No worries if your juice will ruin a tank. No leaks. Easy to fill with less mess. Solidly built with no wobbly connectors. For me, I hated the fiddliness of tanks and the top-heavy problem. I now only use my REOs - a VV Grand and 2 minis. Gave the gripper to the hubby. :D

    Seems like an overwhelming concensus!
Save your self some stress of making the decision and save your self money trying anything else! I mentioned in another thread if you have a REO you have the best and hell with the rest!! Go ahead.... pull the trigger!!! You won't regret it believe us.

thanks everyone for the input....BUT OMG....It's $200 a pop, I didn't thought it was this expensive.

Think I'll just get the Vivi Nova and the Phoenix Bully instead...

Robert has some blemished on site. And if you get verified you can browse the classys. REO's are one PV that lasts so well you can pick up a used and still have a great PV.

In the long run the REO is well worth the money.

Trust me canon, that was my same reaction when I first heard about and looked up the REO. For me, it was a phase. Once I was tired of the large quantity of smaller expenses I racked up when I was looking for a right set up, I just pulled the trigger and got the REO. Wish I would have done that waaay sooner. Would have saved so much money instead of spending it on little devices, cartos, clearos, etc. Just buy it in your own time when it feels right on your budget, and I'm sure when you receive it you'll forget what you paid for it. I got the REO Grand, after having owned many variable voltage devices, and I'm in awe of its simplicity and practicality (not to mention it's a great looking and awesomely crafted device 99.99% of REO users are thrilled to own).
