Are bottom feeders better than clearo, carto w/ tank, and atty?

Any recommendations for the atty's or cartomizers?

And cartomizers? I thought Reos mods only uses atty's?

Been reading post stating Reos mods + Atty's dripping = takes you to a whole new world.

Never seen a post about the Reo mods with cartos.
I've recently been using Smok Tech shorties . They're compact and you have to feed it slightly less than an atomizer. Pretty darn good flavor and vapor too, and with an average resistance of 1.7ohms it's perfect for ppl who are indecisive about whether to get 1.5ohm or 1.8ohm atties.
Plus, they're adorable.

I still have a tube PV, too, same electronics as the REO, that I use when working with power tools. The carto/tank setup on it is really nice, and it is another high reliability PV, though it still doesn't match the absolute flavor/vapor of the VV Grand with a good atomizer.

Just curious, why does a tube PV work better when working with power tools?

I went from an eGo Twist ($20) with some cheap clearomizers ($5.49) to the Reos Mods lol

I joined this forum with no intention of posting more than 2 times just to find out how to fix my leaking clearomizer and get it fixed and done with, and one thing leads to another, which leads to another and now I have 65 posts in less than 24 hours. I think this is the only forum that I made so many posts in one day in my life.

Funny how things don't come out the way you expected it to be, just like life. Sometimes the outcome is good, sometimes the outcome is bad. But mine came out pretty well I think. Got myself set on the Vivi Nova for traveling and Reos Mod for home use.

Was just planning to fix the clearomizer and use it for life until this forum taught me that these things don't last as long as my tube TV and it needs to be replaced in a few months or even weeks.

It's amazing how the original e-cig went from one simple electronic vaporizer to a complicated series of atomizers, cartomizers, clearomizers, cartomizers with tanks, cartomizers with a punched hole, I mean who thought of that? Creating a hole on the cartomizer and use a tank? GENUIS I call it.

It's just amazing how people thought of these ideas and turned it into a multi-billion dollar industry.

So many modifications, rebuilding, rewicking, using different kinds of wicks, cottons, polyesters, different heating wires, and so much more, I mean who would've care which heating wire have what guage or what 32 A-1 numbers if it weren't for this hobby?

I mean...how long have these things come out anyway? The first time I ever heard of an e-cig was from a TV commercial I saw in Asia with just a simple cigarette look-alike that blows out smoke, and at the time I thought to myself.."This is one stupid product and idea whoever thought of it was a ......, this idea will get hammered and banned so fast it wouldn't even make it into the US before it dies out."

Look at where we are now...Reos Mods...

Oh and I bet Rob made a boat load of money off this industry, such a smart man he is. Inventing the Reos Mod.

I find the tube with tank a faster blind grab for a quick hit, cleaner to drop in and pull from a pocket. Putting up studs, working the snowblower, I find the tube preferable. That said, I use the VV Grand the great majority of the time, absolute top vaping quality.

Bro, bet you right now (just a gentlemans bet of course) that once you get your REO, you will forget about your tube and vivi chevelle).

Even if you do love puffing off that tube and the tank excites ya (and I lose this bet) you will likely consider reversing their roles- as in REO out (pocket ability) and tube at home where no one can see you hitting it. Kinda like mopeds were fun unless your friends saw you riding one?

Congrats bro, you done good.

I have been playing with other mods for the last week or so. Received a vivi-nova kit that I've been using on my precise plus 18650 and darwin. Got my local supplier, okc vapes, to pierce some smoketech single coil cartos to use in a tank that matches the precise. The experience is a lot better than I remember from even a year ago. Of course, now having a local supplier that sells its juices in needle tipped bottles helps.

Went back to the VV Grand and Chalice this morning, and the other mods are back in the 'break out in case of vapepocalypse' drawer already: 2 day juice supply on board, constant battery voltage for extended period along with all the other benefits of the standard Reo Grand. A good rebuildable helps the experience even more!

I've had a lot of high dollar mods, but I have to just recommend the VVG. Not the cheapest mod out there, but for me the most enjoyable. As my Dad used to say, "You get what you pay for.", and "The best way to save money is to buy quality."

Better? Well, that is subjective. Body construction is the same but the VV has the electronics.

It all comes down to what YOU want. Variable voltage is like the deluxe model vs standard. Both will deliver great vapor, and great flavor.

have you found any super short in different ohms than 1.7?

Assuming that you're not going to take them into a water park, IMHO yes. Regular grand is absolutely bullet proof...but you're limited by the battery on what you can vape. You'll only be able to do SR or LR heating elements. You won't have constant voltage...as the battery fades, so will your vaping experience; VV ensures you'll get the same hit every time until the batteries are exhausted. You won't be able to fine tune your voltage for your heating elements or juice (Eh, this atty could use a little more oomph, or drat, I'm scorching the taste of this juice.). If you're a RBA coiling putz like I am, a VV device is an absolute godsend (Huh, I was wanting 1.4ohms and I got 2.8. Oh, well...(vapes).

If you're just starting out and don't have a lot of odds and ends to play with, a regular Grand will do just fine. But don't be surprised if you find yourself getting another one, VV or not, later on.

Yeah, it sounds like we're a cult, I know. But Reos are just that damned good.

Yeah I'm still on my first order of 6 cartos and I found one that was 1.6ohms. I could care less since it still worked great; if I hadn't measured it on my provari I wouldn't have noticed. I just ordered 10 more let's see if it happens again.

but after buying everything i've bought, a vv reo grand will probably be my next big purchase.
there is simplicity in a reo, there is genius in the design, and the vapor + hit is fantastic.
I love and use all of my mods... Or, almost all of them. Reos are of the best out there imo.
Every juice delivery system has its ups and downs, carto tanks, clearos, vivi novas...
But reos are very easy to understand, they are very simple, and they make plumes of vapor.

The Grand is the most indestructible, most reliable and most practicable REO imo for many reasons. Knowing that all to be true....and that said Im just not a metalhead. :) I wood REOs, always have and always will. I've always prided myself in having the best wood.

Some of the key words I've read while skimming this thread are: Simplicity - Craftsmanship - Durability - Reliability - Performance.

I want to add a nother key word: Service. If the device ever gives you trouble, send it back in and Rob will get it fixed and return it to you quickly. He's one of the best out there with far and above excellent customer service.

I own a bunch of high end gear and I own a bunch of low end gear. I have favorites in either category. My tube mods have been being slowly packed away or given away. My plastic box mods are mostly given away now. My ego and ego-clone batts are almost gone. i have one left when I had handfuls of them as recently as just a few months ago. .. My REOs have completely taken over as my vaping devices.

They are reliable, durable, good looking, good performers, easy to use, and easy to maintain. Had I bought my REOs first, I doubt i would have ever purchased any of the other dozens upon dozens of PVs I've had.

My REO Mini allows me to carry nothing but one AA battery box with 1 spare battery and 1 spare bottle of juice inside. My REO VV Woodville allows me to be out all day without concern for juice or battery life, so I carry nothing extra with it. REOs are the most hassle free way to vape... and there is a little something in the product lines to suit almost anyone's needs.

Once you pick an atomizer you like and get a few batteries, you're all set for a very long time. I wish I had listened to the first dozen or so people who recommended REO to me. I got my mini on 11/17/11 and not a single day has gone by since then that I didn't use it. It gets used every single day. I bought my RVVW on 4/28/12. it is not only beautiful, but it is an excellent high performance, variable voltage, PV. Every day, no matter which REO I'm using, I fill the bottle, pop in a fresh battery, and go. I worry about nothing because there is nothing to worry about. ---> And, importantly, I know for a fact that REOs Mods stands behind their products. If something ever does go wrong, pop it in the mail and you'll have it back all fixed up in 2 shakes of a lambs tail. -- those events appear to be few, but the posts I've come across all praise Rob for doing such a fine and fast job of getting the unit fixed and returned to its owner.

The more time goes on since I got my REOs, the less and less I use any of my other gear. In fact, what was my favorite PV a few months ago sits with an empty bottle right now.
