We have 4 indoor cats, they are our babies, and no, they are not spoiled, just well loved.
When we had to put our last dog down for reasons nobody really wants to hear, I took the day off work and went through all the local shelters. My goal was to have another dog IMMEDIATELY but that didn't work out. But within three days we had our new pal, and she is every bit the joy that was our old pal.
I made a tribute to our old pal though, complete with pictures that would make you cry.
And yeah, I cried putting them together too.
I'm such a wuss.
What a nice story to go to bed to.My son was about five so about 28 years ago, hubby brought home a kitten who someone threw in a dumpster. It was winter and bitter cold and the poor thing was close to dying. Hubby put her in his pocket and carried him around all day. We named her Snuggles but it didnt fit because she never really was close to anyone but hubby and our dog.
Basically she allowed hubby to pet her, but our British Springer Spaniel (male) mothered that cat to death. It was so cute when they slept together.
Awwww! I love to hear about rescues!![]()
