Frankie. This was from back when we lived in Wisconsin. His mama brought him from into our outdoor hallway for some cat food and a safe place to sleep.

I met a possum which was hand raised since being a baby. The mother had been killed or something. In any case, it was a really sweet animal. When possums live a plush lifestyle in a house with a good diet their fur is really nice.

Who would have thought?

Yeah, I was very surprised at how well behaved our possums were. They were very much wild animals. We never had any physical contact with them and they did not rely on us for food. However, they knew that there was food available on our outside porch.

The funny thing is; they often ate the cat food out of the same dish as our outdoor cats. AT THE SAME TIME THE CATS WERE EATING!! There were no fights, no aggression, no guarding of the food...they all got along. It was amazing.

The same thing with our raccoons. I'll be posting pictures of them soon.

Please consider all my posts to be KP Kicker's posts since he is my husband and we do share custody of our furr-kidds. Anyway, he has all the pics on his computer so I let him do all the work of posting. He LOVES showing off our kids. ;)

This should read:

Please consider all KP Kicker's posts to be my, Daxia's, posts,...
Just another one of my many blonde moments. Ooops. :/

We found this dog on Saturday night...isn't he beautiful ? We are desparately trying to find his rightful home; there just isn't any more room at the inn right now, and he looks at my cat and my birds as if they were squeaky toys.

I hope you can find him a home. Is there a rescue group that might take him? He looks so sweet. If I could, I'd take him in an instant!

1 Australian Shepherd-Blue Merle(1yr old) and 1 aging black/white cat(11 yrs old). Both are female and barely tolerate each other. The Aussie thinks the kitty is a chew toy and the kitty thinks the Aussie is insane! Of course kitty had issues long before the Aussie came along...LOL!

I bet this all creates some interesting situations.

4 kitties here!

Mollie AKA Mollipop, Good Golly Miss Molly, or Moll Flanders (we used to live in Flanders, NJ)
12 year old saucy but lovey chocolate tabby.

Monkey - real name is Pudintaime (as in ask me again, I'll tell you the same). 12 year old white cat with a gray "V" on his head. Fixed since 6 months old but continues to violate every stuffed animal in the house. Currently it's George, who is not so "curious" anymore.

Mrs. Shmoo AKA Eyes Without A Face or Feline Swiffer - 3 year old pure black cat with a large hanging belly. She is so dark that she looks like she only has eyes kind of like the cartoon character, The Shmoo. Likes to lie around being scandalous by posing spread eagle.

Arwynn - AKA OURwynn or OURweenie or just Weenie - 2 year old female calico. Wanted to name her Frodo because I'm a LOTR fan but she turned out to be a girl, hence the Arwynn (cept I changed the spelling). She is the most indecisive cat I've ever seen. Up or down...in a room or out...whatever. BUT, she can say MOOOOOOMMMM!
