For all the Tootlers that rebuild!

If you are looking for a way to tame those coils of wire then stop into any Michaels craft supply store and pick up a 3 pack of Beadalon Spool Tamers'. They work perfectly for Kanthal too!

I find myself Tootling this little guy more and more, perfect size for a quick pocket and go.

The Flash e-Vapor VS and the Kanger iPOW2. 1.4Ω at 13.5W with the normal sized Stingray tip. Very easy to fill and rewick if you need to.

That's a nice looking mod. I was wandering around Kidney Puncheer the other day, and saw a slim one, I think it was a Nemesis mini...? It said it uses 14500 batteries, which sounds a lot slimmer than 18XXX-anything. But it wouldn't really work for me; I always use a Kick in my mechs, and the ones I have are for the standard 18xxx-battery tubes, so they wouldn't fit.

There's a gorgeous hybrid that I've lusted for since I first saw it -- the black Valkyrie. But when I first saw it, I didn't build coils, then for a long time I didn't use RDAs at all; now I do, but now I know that I only like RDAs that have a decent well, and the Valkyrie has no well at all, so it would drive me wild, no matter how great looking it is. If they ever decide to come out with a Valkyrie v2 that has a well, I'll be all over it!

@DPLongo22, yes, tiz true that a cute lil "M" tank just might be heading in your direction one of these dayz. And no coiling of itty bitty wires will be necessary. In fact..... I'll be your voice of reason. Do not keep the KF! :D You know damm well you're not going to rebuild ANYTHING!

Oh Kat don't deny DP the pleasure of vaping on a KFL. That's cruel... If I can build a coil and have it work anyone can and I mean anyone.

@TrollDragon Beadalon Spool Tamers keeps the wire in place and to be honest you can make 10 coils at a time which will last a year before needing to make more.

For easy filling of the KFL and working on the deck is this cool tool. The Kayfil.

Yes, you need to keep it. I never thought about building a coil as I thought it was such a pain. Now it's the norm and I enjoy doing it. Two of my Kayfuns are using coils I put in 2 months ago. It's just doing a dry burn and replacing the cotton. Best vape I've had since switching to Kayfuns. @robino1 says get a pair of glasses. Kayfun #3 arrived yesterday and it's in vaping away. My lonely 2.5 Provi now has a partner.

GET a pair of glasses? I've got THREE DIFFERENT STRENGTHS sitting in front of me right now.

1. Get three more pairs of glasses, some in mass-magnifying strength.
2. Get some new & smaller fingers.
3. Get some dexterity, that DOESN'T manage to break everything it touches.
4. Get some talents that DON'T include relational databases, pivot tables, large strings of data, or anything required in-depth analysis.

I had an anvil once.

I broke it.

The Kayfun doesn't stand a chance. Kat's correct, but she does know me best, so...

Someone will be happy when I get around to posting it. Until then, it sits in a corner shivering, fearful that I might actually touch it. I try to talk nicely to it, and tell it that it's perfectly safe, but I don't think it believes me.

All I have found is that the closer to the coil my mouth is, the more it BURNS! And SPITS! I've had a knucklehead swivel driptip for nearly a year... but never got much use out of it until I started playing with RDAs -- and now a knucklehead swivel is the ONLY kind I want to use with RDAs, because it both distances your mouth from the coil, and provides the angle so that the hot spats don't hit your lips.

One of the dangers of tootle puff dripping..... The juice spits more at lower wattage :p

You can buy packs of premade coils in varying resistance from online vendors like fastech. If you don't make the mistake of fully removing the post screws and risk losing one, you should be fine :p

I did not realise that. I vape menthols and there is a fine line between pleasure and pain.

Too high and instantaneous ignition (extra funky taste) too low and its wet and gurgly.

I've been using fly tying bobbins, this might be a more economical alternative!

How to prevent spitting:

Put an old 510 bridge inside your drip tip
That's awesome! But how many would even know what this is any more? :)

LMAO! This sounds exactly how my chihuahua behaves when my #1 son talks to her! And he and DIL were the ones that found her and brought her to me!

If you can pick up a pen and write your name you can make a coil. If you can count to 10 you can make a coil. Great flavor or sort of good vapor.

I agree, it's in it's infancy now. Titanium wire also works. It is my opinion, bein a welder, that any heated metal that causes nausea or allergic reactions is hazardous to breathe on a continued basis or in a high enough dose. I know you've heard it before, but actually the SX Mini costs no more than 3 or 4 cartons of cigs. If TC devices prove to be a lot safer then that price will be well worth it. Of course, I never bought 4 cartons of cigs at one time either...
Dang, used to buy my Kools 5 cartons at the time, my convenience store really hated it when I quit, he still trys to sell me cigs when I stop in for anything else now. :) I usually just hit my iStick an blow it in his face.
