I agree. Smoking can be an emotional addiction too. Something the person may not even be aware of. Cigarettes calmed us down when we were upset, cleared our minds when we had to focus on something, and [fill in the blank]. They were always there and could be counted on. It's like breaking up with someone you know is bad for you, but is familiar.
