I'm intrigued by the heatvape invader mini, wonder how good the temp control works on it. Looks like the average price on it is $65.

Another one? :shock:BLS? Or what other malady?
No BLS. It just quit powering up. Hit the button with a full charge and it reads low power. Put it on the charger so it would turn on, hit it once and it sizzles for .1 seconds then dies....no power. Over and over. Worked fine until today, then went cold turkey on me. No BLS, CT this time. :)

This makes me sad to hear. I was looking forward to the 4400mAh in the 50. With sale prices at $35, shipped, it's the same price I paid for my 30W. iSmoka has some more learning to do from the 50W issues. Here's hoping they get the iStick 150W right. I know all of us tootlers will be lining up for that release.

I like the heatvape gear. I don't have this invader but I am interested for when we go fishing. We have a couple of the defenders and except for some foibles (like no setting lock) they are a very well made device. Much easier to hold and fire than the isticks and I like the centre tank connection.

The first BLS recorded. Notice it was in watt mode when I started the video and then switched to volt mode. It started doin this with the tank on it. It was firing 10 seconds, off, then repeat. By the time I got the atty off it had cycled 3 times and heatin up quick. It had a full battery and wouldn't cut off so it kept this up through the mail to FL for a couple of days more until Shek took it apart. :)

I think they are getting the 50s fixedchuckleif they haven't already. I would wait a whilesix months after the 150s come out before I bought one. Tootlers need a 150w ..like a hole in the head.. :)

I sort of doubt that the 150 watts will vape well at 8 watts or so.

It's called a pocket :p

Actually to be serious. I only take cheap ... gear that I am not afraid of losing. Learned the hard way that vaping gear does not float. So now everything is in a tight lanyard and always tucked into a closeable pocket or under the shirt.

Did you try cleaning all the contact points. Maybe enough power isn't reaching the controller. I've had that happen on other mods and a good cleaning fixed it right up. I just fixed one for a friend in Texas.

The only one I take out is one I built that has gone through around 10 enclosures because of hazardous duty. The controller keeps on going though. I dubbed it my junk box.

lol Thanks, but have tried sub ohm, didn't like it. I still consider myself a tootle puffer regardless of the MTL requirement. dual coils, net 1.3 ohms (yeah I'm weird) lol and hands off my wrist band!!! hehehe

That's me too. I vape where and what I like. It's set at the setting I feel like vaping. I don't make sure it's 10 anymore than I do 15. Unless I'm looking for a starting point.
