Oh, it just occurred to me.. in that discussion of the merits of the Origen v2 -- can you post a pic of the inside of the top cap? Because that seems to be what makes the diff in my magma, it's got that dome shape. The inside of the Veritas doesn't have that, and I think that's why I still perceive it as airy, even at the tightest possible AFC setting.

The top of the inside is almost right on top of the nut in the v2, making a tiny chamber.
I understand the airiness effect you speak of, the only way to control that in the magma is pushing the coils down to almost touching the deck and blocking airflow.
With the origen I get the other effect where the vapor expansion seems to actually tighten the draw a small bit,
I like the flavor of the magma but I'm not liking how fussy it is finding the perfect build for a thick vapor. My Lil ol senio has a 1.2 mm hole and is single coil, and a MTL still made thicker denser feeling vapor then my magma.
Side by side just now the smallest hole on the v2 feels about half of the kayfun4 wide open

Ok dang it, I have spent the last 63 hours checking my speaker, reloading sound card drivers, updating OS, finally wiped my whole laptop completely clean and reinstalled WinBloze first still nothing, tried Linux still nothing. I give up! It states plainly and clearly up top now that ECF is the voice of vaping but I can't hear a damn thing! Back to working on it. 
I don't really have a problem with the magma, since I got used to it, and changed all my kayfuns to mimic the draw-feel of the magma using just one of the smallest holes. Doing that, and also reducing my coils from 1.8Ω to 1.5-ish, I get just a little more vapor, and a lot more flavor. I dunno how the kayfun v4 is, all I have are (clone) KFL+'s. But I understand it's lot more airy than the older kayfuns, which tells me that halfway on that one might be more airflow than I really like.

I got a Sigelei 150w and a sub-ohm tank just to puff around 30w. Does that make me a tootle puffer or something worse?
No Guys I really missed youse! I am in the process of moving pawNlaw down from Warner Robbins to here with us. It has me streched rather thin considering my 72 rental properties are ALWAYS a PIA! You know especially the ones that even if the A/C is blowing snow flakes out it's not cold enough, or my all time favorite " someone is putting trash in my trash can, what are you gonna do about it?" I swear that one came in at 11:30 pm one night. I won't/can't repeat here my response to that one though!

Just remember..when you sub ohm at that high a wattage the authorities will be watching you!
