I tried Nickel several different ways but I always got a sore throat I just got some TI wire and it is very very nice! The flavor is off the chart. a nice cool vape,Im really liking TP.
Thinkin about putting a ni200 coil in my Lemo 2. Is that the only advantage of ti wire?

Wasn't it on the itty bitty (mod) thread it was first coined? As a joke, not as an insult, and we all had that lightbulb moment of "yea, I AM a tootle puffer, and proud of it!"?
Why are you askin, you were there...........:)

Bikenstein, I'm still new to both Ni and Ti wire, but I've used both now and here's what I know (and think I know) so far. Ti wire is noticeably harder than Ni and the resistance per inch at the same gauge is higher. Ni is so soft that if I'm going to put a single wire into a post hole I fold the coil tail over doubling it so I have a chance the post screw doesn't cut it. It's much easier to use if you can trap the wire under a screw head. The hardness also makes a Ti coil sturdier in general comapered to Ni. The added resistance of Ti means you can use wire that's thicker than you can with Ni or make dual coil builds with 28 gauge.

The down side of Ti is most people don't dry burn it to avoid overly oxidizing it which may be a health issue and if you get it really hot (bright red) it will burn and there's no good way to extinguish it until it does it by itself. I hit a bit of Ti wire with a Bic lighter and couldn't get it to burn. It did burn using a propane torch, but it self extinguished after about 3/8" of wire was consumed.

I hear ya, but it's the only way you're going to be able to expepriment with temperature protection. At least for now. If you're not working with TP, I say stick with Kanthal :)
