There's nothing wrong with coiling, disposables or whatever.
It's stage 4: "more vapor" and the conversion zone that I tend to object to.
I was reacting to posts basically saying stock coils weren't good enough.
Yes they are for some of us.

I get so tired of saying "i'm not interested". I actually hate clouds and throat hit.
I hate sticky VG on my car windows.

That's cool, just don't hate those that do like what you don't like, and, well, it's all good.

And if you just gotta hate, try not to project it and harsh our mellow. :)

I didn't coin the term out of a bad place, would be sad to see those who embrace the term take it there.

I'm not hating on anyone but the point of this thread was to have a place free from that. I could have said it better.

to be a Tootle Puffer is as simple as vaping above 1ohm and below 20 watts ... whether you vape a disposable, rock a Blu kit, use a carto tank, drip on some 1.2ohm coils you made, or use premade coils.

You only step out of TootleTown when your vape drops to 0 .9ohm or goes above 20watts.

Keep Calm and Tootle On :vapor:

What if you only step out every now and then? Do you lose your membership???

Our proud roots:

1. First ever post about "Tootle Puffing": http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...ussion/646410-ipv-mini-v2-9.html#post15160461

2. 2nd post referencing Tootle Puffing: Little itty bitty mods under $100

3. And then Kat made it so cool to be called a "Tootle Puffer".
"one puff low wattage flyin' purple tootle puffer"

4. If you vape at Stage 4 you no longer can call yourself a "Tootle Puffer":(

I'm consider a part time "tootle puffer". I now have 3 tootle puffin setups. I dug though my vape drawer and found a couple more RM2's with limited airflow. I rebuilt them and now I have 3 Reo Woodies that I can "tootle puff" on.:)

I'm on page 20 so I have a lot of reading to catch up on. Hopefully it will be a slow one tonight in the New Member Forum.

Yeah I still have all my bookmarks for the cheapest Kanger coils, and of course the best possible price on punched cartos... but I just object on principle to paying money for things I don't have to -- one of the reasons I became a good cook, too; I still like to eat in a restaurant now and then, but the price/quality of restaurant food, compared to the price/quality of my own? No contest! And I've found that to be true with coils too; the replacements lasted me a week at most... but I've made coils that lasted 3+ months!

Andria

I still have one or two Aspire coil that's been sitting in the same tank for about a year now. It might be of interest that I doubt that (or those) tank(s) have seen the end of their second bottle of juice. One is coming up REAL soon on the start of 3rd bottle, though and still vaping strong. I also have made a couple of coils that lasted about 3 months. When I finally changed them I was regretting not doing it earlier, though. I'm sure they had seen more than 2 bottles of juice and a few wicks along the way. What a ride!

BUT... (because a post with too much agreement gets boring sometimes) my one and only Kanger tank/coil are about to finish their second bottle and still going strong. I know because I bought those only to vape the 2 bottles I brought back from Italy. And I vape those at 4.2 volts on top of it. I don't care what they say about changing a coil every bottle it goes through, I have had ONE coil die on me. The others just had strong remnants from the previous juice and/or were plain gunked up. My Nautilus (not the mini) seems expert at clogging BVC coils even before I can vape it. It'll receive my last BDC and see if that works, else I'm done with it.

OH CRAP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I just toddle puffed myself!

:ohmy::unsure::(:confused:

It's TOOTle puff... TODDle puffing sounds illegal.

Toddlers shouldn't be puffin.............................:grr:

Darn, got beat to it. I was busy, ya know...

If you step out the cloud room to tootle puff, do you lose that status? It would make things rather competitive IMO. People would fall clanless or only have a mod clan and would have to panhandle for reputation points, fall out of the forum, end up cleaning windshields for juice and have to talk homeless people into vaping. Then they'd go back to smoking because you can't find much e-juice in trashcans and vape shops don't throw out expired juice very often.

What's funny is that the only part of that itty bitty mod thread I ever read was the first post... I didn't think I wanted an iStick. And now I have one on the way!

Actually I just didn't think I could afford one, but when I put the aging of my current hardware and my growing need to invest in a new setup together with the decreasing prices... it just seemed like a no-brainer. And I'll have another color of kayfun. :D :thumb: Not all the colors; I recently discovered the "rose gold" which looks like copper to me. And I'd still be verrrrrrrrrry interested if someone came out with a rainbowed kayfun. :D
